I don't think you will because your statement was meant to encourage your child to work hard. Dr Olukoya didn't make that statement in a TV studio, he didn't post it on his social media account, he made it inside his church to his members for the sole purpose of encouragement.

So why are people angry?

The man didn't claim. He had over 400 first class graduates from all over the country who were present at prayer city to be celebrated. That's a fact. That's why he made that statement.

Besides he said he stands to be corrected, so why are people so angry and finding fault with his statement and ignoring the cash reward of 250k he gave to each of them. Which is meant to encourage other students to work hard.

You misunderstood the commenter. The commenter is suggesting a solution (deterrent). You are attacking him/her as if the comment is focused on the cause of the problem.

The problem is already there. A solution is needed.

Can't you understand the functions of "desperation" and "unintentionally" in my comment? Maybe she knew the baby was already dead but was desperate to try anything to possibly revive the baby. I never said that immunisation can revive a dead baby. I am just telling you what desperation can push the woman to do depending on her level of knowledge. I used "unintentionally" there to show that her attempt is definitely not to implicate the nurse but she didn't know that what she wanted would have implicated the nurse.

For further clarification, I have edited my main comment by adding "ignorance" to the same sentence you misinterpret in the comment.

If it were unintentional, why didn't she inform the nurse? She's looking for a scape goat.

Her action can be unintentional in the sense that she is doing it to possibly revive the child and not to implicate the nurse. Her action would have implicated the nurse but her intention might not be to implicate the nurse. This is what I mean.

Those children you dey admire, their nursery school fees na millions. Their play class alone cost at least 200k per term.

In Nigeria, only a Catholic school will charge 100k or less and still provide quality education.
