Well, I don't really know wat u mean by thumbprint though, but if u check that hugo guide sent to u...u will see a very good sample of wat u need...just go to ur bank and ask of a printed copy of ur BVN slip, it comes out with ur date of birth and passport photograph.
I meant in the bvn verification slip that was given to you, was the thumbprint showing? I checked the Hugo example it’s just the bio data and no thumbprint

Tiopii:
Nah, I wasn't able. Yes, the multi choice questions were few. It was just time allocated, I don't think you must use the entire 60mins. I was done in less than 15mins I think.
I guess you’ve submitted your documents and what redid they say afterwards?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Hugo Academy Graduate Trainee 2022 By Hugo Technologies by imoniyi(f): 11:15pm On Feb 03, 2024
Tiopii:
Job fit assessment : personality questions, English questions mostly and one that they would ask you if two shapes look alike.

Multi choice questions : it is about how to respond to customers, more like ethical questions

You'd be told to download one British app, they would test your core English skills, reading and writing skills.

You'd spend close to 4hrs atleast. try to have enough data and fully charged phone and laptops. you'd spend more time on your phone
Were you able to type the words finish within that 75 seconds? Also, that Hugo assessment multiple choice was few but they said it’s for 60 minutes.

Imoksp:

For the core skills, I got 480
For the speaking test, I had 435
For the writing test, I had 489
I just did my test on Friday I pray everything goes well and I am sorry to hear about yours. My speaking test was low sha 424. I think that was the hardest.

I just feel the Nigerian education system is different from other countries (maybe developed countries) which is why it’s difficult to cope outside. Funniest thing is, you don’t even do a lot of modules outside the country, maybe four per semester and the workload is hectic. Someone was talking about researching and the need use turn it in after an essay, they don’t really do much of that in Nigeria which can make adapting hard. If we were instilled with how to research, maybe it would have been easier. Before I started my undergraduate, I did foundation programme and it sort of prepares you for what to expect in undergraduate level. I was glad I did it, because I would have struggled getting used to how things work there.

I just feel everyone should prepare their mind that school there might be different from what you are used to, just set your priority right. Even with the school comfort and probably good lecturers, one might still struggle.

Good evening everyone, I am trying to apply for a school and they said I need reference. To my issue, they said the reference must be in written format and I am not sure what that is. It should be written with hands (pen and letter headed paper ) or what?
Good evening, please I need response to this.

Do use the name on your passport/ Certificate. You do not need to do an affidavits if you use the name on your passport since it matches same name in your certificate.
Thank you so much.

u are an intending international student and all your documentation and immigration hx will be linked to ur international passport. That is ur valid name. The school website had given u the answer. If at all there’s anythin u shud be doin, it shud be correction of data on international passport.
It’s like you do not understand the weight of international passport during travel.
My undergraduate degree wasn’t in Nigeria and I had to be using the name of my passport even on the certificate I was issued, the name of my passport was written. What I am not sure of now is, should I just keep using the misspelt name or swear an affivadit (I am not sure how that would help) or do the correction of data on international passport (how do I even go about that?)

Good evening, I am trying to apply for masters online. Here is my issue, should I use the name on my passport/degree certificate (Imoleyo) which is a wrong spelling or I should use my actual name, Imoleayo? I am going to still do the affidavit though. I am confused on what name to use. On the school website, it’s written that I should use the exact name of my passport page, should I go ahead with it even if there’s a spelling error?

Do an affidavit to reconcile the names.
I would do that, I am just concerned about the name I have to use when applying. Someone suggested I use my passport name which has spelling error and it’s the same thing on my school certificate.

Do an affidavit that the name on all certificate is the wrong one. You will be told to go change the name on your passport if you use the name on passport as wrong one.
Thank you.

I have a similar issue, the name on my passport is missing an A, due to that, the name one my certificate and NYSC is the wrong name “Imoleyo” instead of “Imoleayo”. My question is, I hope I won’t have an issue if I do an affidavit even if the name of my passport is the wrong one, I have even decided to continue using the Imoleyo since all my schools certificate contains Imoleyo.
