Noted with Thanks

WES I think has different offerings for the US and Canada so I guess it's better and safer to do that tailored to the US

Thanks for this insight. I did WES Canada evaluation in 2020. Just confirming if I can still use that. I will check out the silvergate evaluation.
Goke7:

Why not use cheaper evaluation agencies like Silvergate Evaluations in three working days you will receive your US equivalent credential document which you can use for the same purpose.

Many thanks for your response. Much appreciated. Please, just to confirm, can I use WES canada for this purpose?

Please I need an advise on the EB NIW.

1. I am a lecturer with over 6 years of experience.
2. I have an MSc but presently registered for a PhD.
3. 2 Conference papers and some papers under review.
4. I have WES (Canada) evaluation done in 2020. Can this be used for the USA immigration?

Please advise me on the best option.

Thank you

Hello everyone,

Please can one have a positive assessment with vetassess as a lecturer with a PhD but without PGDE?

My husband on the other hand is the principal applicant and about sending his documents to AIMS for assessment for MLT as well, I believe the results will come out positive. We are considering Southern Australia or Northern territories.

Any advice?

Please did you submit research publications for you to get positive assessment?

Jesunitemi:
I applied, paid and submitted certified true copies of the following:
All certificates
Appointment letter
Promotion letter
2 reference letters
Pay slips
I also applied for my transcripts to be sent to VETASSESS directly by the universities I attended.
Take note that my 1st degree was graded associate degree and my Masters graded as bachelors. But I got a positive assessment and my first year at work was not counted for me. However I still had sufficient number of years to claim the maximum points for work experience.
I wish you the best.

Thank you so much for your timeous responses. I have all the required documents except the research publication aspect. Just a little bit worried since they require evidence of publication

I have a positive assessment for University lecturer. No PGDE no PhD.
M.A. plus 9.5 years as at the time of assessment. One year was deducted and I have over 8 years according to them.

Hope this helps

Please would you like to share the process for your positive assessment?

Regards

Thank you!
I did not submit SAQA. And also it depends on how your school helps you cos mine requires SAQA but the wrote a letter to the embassy telling them that I have applied for saqa evaluation and it is not yet ready at the time of my visa application. You can ask your school to help you with that but you must apply for saqa first.

Just make sure you have any other thing esp your police certificate and health insurance. I paid for 6months insurance and was still granted visa. 6months is the mininum but please I advice to pay for 11months cos I will still add to mine.

Thank you!

I collected my study permit yesterday @ the abuja embassy. I advice anyone who applied in november here in abuja and hasn't heard from the embassy to go check. I just went to check and my visa had already been issued since december sef.

And I'm also grateful for all the help I got from the commentators here. Thanks a lot.

Congrats Bros. Please did u submit SAQA certificate when you applied in Abuja?
