During my games analysis today, I wasn't particularly confident about playing Cork City, especially as I observed that the Away team is usually very solid at the back...they rarely conceed goals. But then I jumped on the thread this morning and noticed everyone rooting for a Cork City win. So, I decide to play them 1X under 4.5....In the end, they messed my 17 games ACCA up.

I have a personal opinion about those Tipsters who claim they can easily take up the challenge. If it was, indeed, that easy, those Tipsters would already be doing this for themselves and making decent money. So, it either they cannot do it (as evident from this project) or they don't trust their system enough to risk their own money - hence, they'd rather another person take the risk and if all goes well, they share in the profits.

My advice to Viking007 — You can search from now till God knows when, you are unlikely to find anyone with such CONSECUTIVE wins on 2+ odds. Every good punter will enjoy some winning streak and some loosing streak. Even the best teams in the world can go a few matches without a win. What makes true champions is the amount of points you've been able to amass over the course of a season. What should make a good punter should be the amount of NET points he can amass over a period (weekly, monthly, etc). He does not need 3 consecutive wins to be good punter.

As long as a punter does not control the circumstances and dynamics of any match, he cannot always WIN. A cheap penalty, red card, etc could simply alter the course of events.

You may want to review your strategy bro. Search for win rate, rather than consecutive wins. I do not intend to ever join the competition (I can not even select 2 odds to save my life), but I'm enjoying it and would want to see some good come out of it.

By now, you should learn that ODDS displayed by bookies does not represent the TRUE probability of an event occurring. Just because you see an odd of 1.04 does not suddenly mean a 96% chance of that event happening. It is simply your REWARD for taking the risk. The question is, was it worth it? Well, only you can answer that.

I'm fully aware of that. It doesn't guarantee anything, but it shows those who to some extent know what they are doing. Even a loss is better managed when proper analysis was done with no excuses.

Maybe you can consider WIN RATE over a reasonable sample size. Writing a punter off due to one loss might be a bit of disservice to the punter. Also, a punter who is able to scale 3/3 may just have been on a lucky winning streak.
