MelesZenawi: According to the Presidency source, President Buhari was in his office working but no government functionary came for the usual briefing.
Although the source did not disclose the time President Buhari resumed at work, he said the number one citizen was in the office at about 2.30 pm when the inquiry was made. I was hoping that the newspaper had independently confirmed this. Unfortunately, it's one of those "sources" that they have to depend on. |

They are authorities established by God" The kind of successive governments we've been getting in Nigeria, it would be hard to believe that God has been foisting such misfortune on Nigerians year after year. Once there is a need to get the sheeple to obey, all they have to do is quote the Bible or mention God. |

Absolute rubbish! Sanusi is a man who is courageous enough to speak truth to Power. He did same to Jonathan and ended up paying with his position as CBN Governor. He has done so with Ganduje and has now paid with his position as Emir.
Just plain childish to be hearing this Karma shit wrt GEJ. Where was Karma when SLS was appointed Emir? I'm sure if anything happens to Amaechi, you minions will shout Karma.
Fact is that politicians will meet political fortunes & misfortunes in their careers and that includes GEJ and all his supporters & "enemies". |
Business › Re: Emefiele Reveals When CBN Will Devalue Naira by Impenia: 1:07am On Mar 10, 2020 |
dipoolowoo: As at the time of this report by Business Post, it was observed that price of the Brent Crude, under which Nigeria’s crude is categorized, was trading close to $64 per barrel, higher than the $60 and $57 benchmark in the 2019 and 2020 budgets respectively. How recent is this news? Cos I'm aware that oil prices plunged in early trading on Monday, going at one point to as low as $27 before recovering a bit to hover around $32. If Saudi continues its price war and oil prices remain below $40, then all countries who depend on oil to balance their budget (Nigeria, Venezuela, Angola, etc) are in for some tough time. I'm not interested in discussing politics but pure economics. The government will have no option but to devalue the naira, else it will not be able to meet its obligations such as salaries and payment to contractors. Also, since there will be fewer dollars earned, a devaluation will be necessary to discourage some imports else the foreign reserve will just get wiped out by import bills. |

DeomoviesI: I do support Mr Peterside for his opinion on economy. This week, 3 top nations in the world, Australia, United States, New Zealand cut their interest rate by the Chairmans Central banks, that's what done out of the fear for their nation, as Coronavirus outbreak impending. They did this to help the economy of the country I do see side Mr Peterside, Mr Emefiele should consider this with the support of Mr President by cutting the interest rate to help the country's economy. A serious Government who cares about his citizens overall Well being, should really consider the options. You can get high definition movies and series into external drive and pc including Jumanji: the next level, Bombshell, Charlie's Angel, Knives out, Frozen II Doctor Sleep, Jojo Rabbit, Parasite, and varieties of Series. (zero, eight, one, four, four, two, three, eight, three, two, seven) Australia (RBA) & New Zealand (RBNZ) actually kept rates on hold. Only the US (Fed) cut rates yesterday. |

PIPnator10: @Saxy4c (Nostradamus the seer..lol) Biko what do you see of EURUSD. The support at 1.07900 seems to be holding strong! But the big sell off in EUR in the past 2 weeks makes its scary to buy in now. Wetin be your thought so far? A break above 1.082 is needed to swing the tide in favor of buyers in the short-term. Atleast, so I think. |

PIPnator10: Ride on bro.. You dont need my permission for that!
**You know trading is one business that you'd wish even your worst enemy is doing the same as you. The more people are trading in your direction, the more price is likely to move in your trade direction. When more people buy EUR, the more its likely to move in buy direction. The bolded sounds logical, right? However, sentiments data on retail positioning says otherwise. The more retail traders (dumb money) are stacked in one direction, the more the smart money pushes in the other direction. If you doubt this, just pay attention to retail sentiments data from myfxbook OUTLOOK. BTW, you got some nice chart game going. Very clean and tidy. |

Impenia: NZDCAD Trade Idea --- Price formed a H&S structure. Price broke through the structure neckline, pulls back to do a retest and gets immediately rejected at the neckline (and 50 EMA). My view is that price could now attack the 0.84 handle or even 0.835 (which happens to be 78.6% fib ret).
Also take a look at the WTI chart. Price has formed a W structure. A break above the W neckline could send price higher to around 54.8. If we do get a bullish push on WTI, then surely CAD gets a push as well, driving NZDCAD lower.
--- Just an opinion. Would like to hear other views. Went as projected. Just bought now @ 0.84 BRN. Image 1 was shared earlier. Image 2 is current status.

Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Impenia: 4:17am On Feb 20, 2020 |
Impenia: My view on AUDCAD --- There's a chance price could drop back to that "Support" to make a 3rd test. This is likely to give the retail universe a false sense of security to buy from that "Strong Support". What could then happen here is for smart money to drive price further down to do a liquidity raid on all those stop losses below there. If that happens, I'll be targeting to buy from the 0.88 handle. --- This is a mere opinion and it's highly speculative. AUDCAD Update! --- It turns out price eventually played out as we earlier suspected it would. We're now active from 0.878, let's hope it plays out as anticipated.

Impenia: DXY update. Price now almost reaching the resistance as earlier anticipated. XXXUSD longs might soon become an attractive proposition
Keep in mind, though, that today is FOMC meeting. There's also x3 swap today, which tends to make high yielding currencies (like USD) strengthen. Just as we suspected would happen. Firs chart was captured on the 18th. Second chart is DXY as market close yesterday, with price now at the resistance. I'll be actively looking for opportunities to buy XXXUSD pairs. Let's hope the resistance on DXY does not break, invalidating our analysis.

That is really Over-leveraged trading. I've warned her that if she continues to trade this way, she could blow her account...but, of course, I understand different people have different risk appetite. Personally, I believe this game is a marathon, not a sprint. I don't need 100% returns in one week or one day. 10-20% returns per month is very cool by me.
