NZDCAD Trade Idea --- Price formed a H&S structure. Price broke through the structure neckline, pulls back to do a retest and gets immediately rejected at the neckline (and 50 EMA). My view is that price could now attack the 0.84 handle or even 0.835 (which happens to be 78.6% fib ret). Also take a look at the WTI chart. Price has formed a W structure. A break above the W neckline could send price higher to around 54.8. If we do get a bullish push on WTI, then surely CAD gets a push as well, driving NZDCAD lower. --- Just an opinion. Would like to hear other views.

LibertyRep:Not quite. Just checked Nairametrics and the profile of the other directors seem quite impressive.

Blackeurop:A couple of things I'd like to note. --- First of all, there's a bigger issue about your credibility and motive on this thread (especially after the BT screenshot). You've not made any attempt to clear the air on that, but have moved swiftly to deflect from that to this "project". Secondly, those who can trade profitably (and consistently) on this thread are not likely to join a one month project just to earn $100 (well, a few might). For the others who are yet to be able to trade profitably & consistently, this is a futile adventure for them because they're gonna FAIL. If, truly, anyone can make an average of 5%/day or 100%/mo, why da fvck do they need this? And BTW, why is everyone suddenly getting so excited about being gifted a fish, when the focus should be being taught how to fish? If @Blackeurop has anything he wants to give freely, I would suggest he gives out tips, resources, ideas, methods etc to help others improve their trading results. |
infofirst:Nah, it's not about being right or wrong. Atleast we both see eventual upside on the pair. Only minor difference is where we feel comfortable with our entries. If price doesn't drop lower, then I'll miss my entry but if it does, then I get a better entry with good RR. But I'm positive we'll both win. |
The first chart is what I shared with a friend earlier on Friday about GOLD. I did reason that the 1578 "resistance" would break driving price into the H4 Supply Zone (shaded). The second chart is what happened at market close. I'll be watching this closely next week as price enters that zone for any signs of reversal...

infofirst:I also bought EU on Friday with target around 1.099 as well. However, I had to close out at BE after seeing price keeps coming back to test that "support". I have come to learn through experience that when you see price taps a level 3 or more times, then the chance of that level breaking becomes higher. That's why I think 1.0833 will breakdown driving price lower. I could be wrong as I often am...lol. I will be looking to start building long positions from the 1.08 handle, targeting 1.10 handle. |
My outlook for EU next week. There's an unsquared GAP on the Weekly chart around the 1.08 handle. I suspect that level is going to magnet price down there. Also notice how price have come back to retest the 1.0833 "support" several times. That's going to give the retail universe a false sense of security to go long. As they place their stops below that level, smart money is likely to drive price down to hunt those stops before reversing. The 50 EMA (red line) has been consistently acting as resistance for any up move. If the 1.08 BRN fails to hold, we could easily see 1.07. --- Just an opinion. Would like to hear what others think.

Shevychen2:Factz! |
There is too much "noise" on the thread. Too much banter about nothing. What is even the purpose of the thread? Because there seems to be very little educational contributions from the so called "superior traders" here. What is this nonsense about posting profit screenshots? How does that benefit other thread followers? If that doesn't benefit others, then what would be the possible motive for you guys to continue doing that? If you genuinely had the interest of other thread followers (which I strongly doubt), would it not be better if you share your trade calls supported with charts and trying to provide a summary of your trade rationale? If you think your trading style does not permit that on trading days, can you not try to help others during weekends by giving some tips on your trading methodology? While I do understand that nobody has any obligation to disclose his/her trading methodology, but what else is the motivation for your continued posting of screenshots here? --- "A candle does not lose any of its light by lighting another candle" "The sky is big enough to accommodate millions of birds" --- If you still do not appreciate the above quotes, then you're definitely suffering from a LACK mentality. @Blackeurop, @TheYoda |
sanpipita:I agree with you completely on the bolded. I was just saying that the narrative that A GOOD BUSINESS MAN WILL MAKE A GOOD PRESIDENT cannot be proven empirically. |
dunkem21:Trump that is polarising America than never before? A man likely to face impeachment because of his dirty romance with Russia? --- To justify your theory, I simply asked you to name the president of other countries who did well and it was because of their business background. Is it Putin, Lincoln, Clinton, Pi (China), Rwanda?...Just name some. |
These herdsmen killings might just be this administration's undoing, just like Boko Haram undid GEJ in 2015. |
dunkem21:Complete nonsense! How many standout world leaders were business men before they became president? From US to Israel to Russia to Japan to Rwanda - just name one. --- Look, I'm not saying that Atiku won't do well, I'm just saying that that line of argument is rubbish. |
darkenkach:Never! PMB started with APP. The party later changed its name to ANPP (just like AC to ACN). PMB then left to start his own party (CPC) and not flirting with an already existing party. CPC then merged with other parties to form APC (again, that's no frolicking). --- Now contrast that with Atiku - PDP to ACN to PDP to APC to PDP. |
id911:Refused to dissect which issue? Your chronic hatred for Buhari, which you have confirmed again in your next comment? --- The kind of company that would employ GEJ. --- With so much hate and paranoia in your heart for the old man, I pray (for your sake) that Atiku wins in 2019, else we might be removing a lifeless body from the lagoon if PMB wins. |
id911:The bolded validates my earlier point. You see, your acceptance of Atiku is not because of your confidence in him but because of your hatred for Buhari. --- Buhari has disappointed and that presents Atiku with a golden opportunity. Same scenario that played out in 2015 between GEJ and PMB. All the same, I'll be campaigning and voting for PMB. |
All those who chastised PMB because - He is OLD, from the NORTH, He is a MUSLIM, and He has been in the corridors of power for a long time - are now accepting Atiku who actually embodies all those characteristics. This goes to show that our decisions are always clouded by prejudice. Every other thing is just a smokescreen. --- When it is convenient, we scream Zoning, when it is not, we say "May the best candidate win" |
Atiku's defection is simply to further his presidential ambition, nothing more. Politicians should stop masking their personal and inordinate ambition under some moral principles. Nigerian politicians don't act based on patriotism or principles, it's simply out of self interest. |
One thing is certain - the Buhari administration has performed well below expectations, which will cause some of the president's supporters to consider an alternative (even if it's not an ideal one). --- GEJ is a good example of how massive goodwill can be wasted very quickly. Most of those who supported him in 2011 were seriously against him in 2015. PMB was rejected several times by the electorate, but because the people's choice due to GEJ's cluelesness. Who says the same thing can't happen in 2019 (Atiku acceptance) due to PMB's ineptitude. --- The president's handlers and supporters can deceive themselves all they like. Afterall, Okukpe, Omokri, Abati, etc said worse things. They can continue in their false sense of power, but understand that the day of reckoning beckons. --- My advice to the administration is to pay attention to the complaints of citizens (and not just wave them away as opposition propaganda). They've still got over 15 months sway the people. --- While I'll most likely be voting for PMB, sacking this government in 2019 will send a clear message to politicians and political parties that incumbency is no more a powerful weapon. If you disappoint, you get voted out. Period! |
Jaideyone:Quite frankly, Reno's penchant for using issues of national interest to score cheap political point is nauseating. It gets really low when the issue borders on human life. --- Did SARS high handedness start with this administration? While in office, did Reno always react to issues in support of the masses? And he calls himself a pastor! |
UmuEri:No, that is not the case! The economy under GEJ was different from the economy under PMB. Unfortunately, we cannot now know how GEJ would've performed with such challenging revenues. But I am pretty confident that PMB would perform much better than GEJ given the financial leakages that existed under GEJ. |
No! That is because, even the process of prosecution and conviction will be tainted with corruption, which will make the entire process self-defeating. --- For instance, the Scandinavian countries have the least crime rate, yet the police there rarely use force, let alone shoot. Compare that to Nigeria where all manner of force, threat and dehumanising methods are used, yet the crime rate is still beyond high. |
In leadership, intelligence and capacity are never claimed, they prove themselves. |
Hozier:Wow! Omo, hear Christian prayer. |
kontekture:When you see stuff like this, that's when you appreciate how primitive we are. --- One wonders what would have been of us if there were no models already. I mean, if we can't even copy, where is the chance that we could innovate or invent? |
I'm not given to ethnic slur, however, my good friend told me from day 1 that he was apprehensive of TSTV offering considering that it was a "developer" who owns it. He simply believes they can't be trusted on face value. |
However, it is what might happen after the World Cup that is the most interesting aspect of this stadium as it can be taken down and reassembled elsewhere or even turned into smaller venues.Really innovative! |
Last picture looks very cool. |
There is already a thread today on FP where a recognised agency rated NPF as the worst in the world. https://www.nairaland.com/4184260/what-really-need-know-police#62498484 --- Well, maybe dude was just being diplomatic to have his way with her! |
--- |
freeze001:OK...if that narrative helps validate your prejudice. |
He said he has moved back to the PDP “where eighty per cent of current APC members are from, adding, “ and they are the same people who destroyed Nigeria in the last 18 years and they are now in APC”.In one statement, you admit that the PDP destroyed Nigeria for 16 years. You also admit that a significant number of those PDP elements joined the APC and continued their destruction of Nigeria in the last 2 years. Yet you are going back to the same PDP?! |
