[/b]lol u are right engineering taught in polytechnic is actually technology that's why even after graduating from an engineering field they still remain technologists only university engineering graduate can be referred to as graduate engineer and subsequently reg engineer.its sad the layman still erroneously equate engineers to technician or even craftsmen I think coren has alot in that aspect to do in sensitizing the general public, engineers basically designs and construct technologists take it up from in enforcing and carrying out field work, technician and crafts men have their roles engineering is a family it's interdependent, engineering training doesn't require details practical work but knowledge is not limited they can as well expand their field
