Many of us, Nigerian youths, have decided (maybe unconsciously)to settle for less and live in mediocrity. While our counterparts abroad are thinking and working on ways to make the world better and therefore enrich themselves, we are busy selling MTN Magic Sim, selling e-books that contain scrap, defrauding others through different means, teaching people how to make money online when you are still drinking garri at home, and wasting internet time on things that can't help our future. The reason for this is not far-fetched as most of us feel that we can't do more than that. We think we cannot be the inventor of the next revolutionary product and these our feelings and thoughts limit us, forcing us to settle for survival. it doesn't matter who has d idea, what matters is getting our graduates out of this lifestyle of job searching into productivity. we graduates should think of starting their own business to secure a better future for ourselves.

I was thinking to create an avenue where companies in different parts of the country can easily reach graduates who live in that state with opportunities through their phone number or e-mail. Till date, so many billion-dollar and multi-million dollar internet companies have been built. The likes of Facebook, Twitter, Google, Amazon, Ebay will easily come to our mind.

I read an article on Forbes and it says the best way to create a consumer internet company worth over a billion-dollars is to build a digital transaction business - a company that connects buyers and sellers so they can more efficiently transact. This is true in the US where everyone uses the internet and even little children have tablets (with internet o), but might not be same for Nigeria. In Nigeria, companies like Jumia, IrokoTV, etc have shown that it is possible to build an internet company worth plenty millions of dollars even within 1 year of inception.

Now to the question: As webmasters, what, do you think, is the best way to build a multi-million dollar internet company in Nigeria?
