You have a very nice CGPA, it must have been really competitive and I studied Biochemistry. I just thought with my G.p and it being an open admission, it would be a sure thing. But Oh well. I already got admission in Uni of Koblenz-Landau, environmental science. I had my visa interview today.

Sup bro, congrats for your admission. I also applied to Landbau-Koblenz but I am yet to get feedback from them. Like when did you get your admission letter bro?

Goodevening all

please for those already in deutscheland. how much euro (in cash) should one carry with him/her so as to avoid airport palava?

The coins I had on me (about 3 euro or so) was a lifesaver for me when I arrived in Hamburg that year and I needed to take a cart to wheel my heavy luggage at the airport ( I actually used 2 Ghana must go bags to carry all my loads sha...No boxes cos of the weight issue grin grin). Bottom line, You can have up to like 100 euro and some coins with you for taxi and the likes should the need arise. Tchuss!

Mails sent early in the morning does the trick! I wish you all the best.

By the way, I hope your use of "there" instead of "their" was a typo wink wink.

Kind regards from HM.

I am a silent follower of this thread. I hail all our uncles, guru, brothers, sisters and profs on this wonderful thread. Pls my question is this, have any body succeeded in studying Phd in Mech Engineering? I am really confused because all I see is MSC candidates. Pls I will need a head way from our big bros them. I intend going for PhD but if not possible another MSC.. Pls advice me..!!

Some of your so called "Msc candidates" you're seeing have naija MSc too bro ( myself for example). Its much easier to come here for Msc than Phd... Emphasis on Easier. You can keep hoping for a Phd spot bro.., but if I were you, .............

I won't say more than that. wink wink smiley

My advice is this. Get a trusted cab-man to pick you by 4am in Festac. Before 6, you'll be there. No cheap hotel in island oo!

Funny you! Actually what I did during my own time was that I went to a primary health center in one of the local govts in Lagos and liaised with one of the nurses to help me with one of their OLD vaccination cards for babies. With my money speaking, she dug into their archives and brought it out. Gave her my details and she filled it accordingly. If you saw how OLD the card was looking ehn....

I went to that extent 'cos I hate stories that touch.

All the best pal.

Hallo leute, I decided to take a break. I think I have all my documents now, I'm preparing towards the interview, one thing that is missing is my Biographically old document, honestly speaking (typing) grin, I don't know what to do about this document, the embassy don't wanna say anything whenever I ask if I can do without it, I don't wanna do any Shaku Shaku something grin grin to be on a safer side, has there been anyone who got their visa without providing this document? can someone please, advise me on what to do, Danke.

Best regards.

The wait is over! Got my AM this morning and I'm so happy.
This is my first time of commenting here but I'm an ardent follower.
I joined the forum around February this year and I read through from Part 3. I was armed with so much info then I applied.
Got accepted in July, Interview was on Sept 29 (funded before the interview) and my AM came in today Oct 26.
I just want to say a huge thank you to those ahead of us who take time out to drop comments and words of encouragement on the forum.
I was well guided by them. God bless you guys!

For the newbies., pls kindly take time out to read through. Trust me, you wont get lost on the forum.

Kiel... I go soon show!
