Nah this not true... they post regardless, or you think foreign country is only US and Canada.. from Ivory Coast to Senegal and so on and so forth are all foreign countries and any personnel can be posted there and are paid in dollars..whilst you Nigerian salary is still running over here in Nigeria.

will he be allowed to complete his education?.
will he be promoted once he gets his degree?

After employment it takes 2 years to confirm your employment on your part as per being active in service, that's they have to be sure you are serious about the job. After then you can apply for educational leave, with or without payment...You be promoted subsequently after the degree if you meet the requirements needeed

So it seems, but the originals of your certificates would still be checked again hence the screening.. you can't be documented if you haven't been employed by the organisation. You are invited for documentation means you have gotten the job.

Those coming in via backdoor don't need to log in. They don't need SMS. Their appointment letter will be given to them via a separate arrangement. The important thing is that: they will do IPPIS capture and their salary will flow just like every other successful candidates.

The induction is more like pre-training and you will start work after that. Then go for the proper training a year or two later.

The max for induction is 3 months sometimes fees weeks..
I heard an officer saying during our last screening there might not be induction this year as everyone would go straight to training school ..dunno..

Did individual candidates have portals them, am sure we would receive an upload on our recruitment portal.
