Hilarious... cool

The originator of this new motto should approach the bank ASAP. This is even far better than "My Bank And I".

Fcmb will definitely pay top dollars/nairn for it depending on the negotiating capabilities of both parties.
I will contact my friend to meet them for an offer. I hope they will give him a mouth watering one.
Thanks for suggestion.

Says who sir? You or the court or an independent committee? If we are pushing for investigation then let the committee do its job.

It is easy to hide your identity in a faceless forum and drag him but the truth is that if you are found to be on a smear campaign and paid to do so, your identity should be unravelled, your affiliation established and your account investigated.

You and your team can drag him and insist on justice but it is evil to receive money from competitors of FCMB to bring down FCMB.
FCMB does not legislate over private affairs of its employees and if anyone is found to have issues, report to the police and FCMB management and allow them investigate.

What you are doing now by hiding your identity and smearing FCMB should be investigated by the CBN.
Oga, do you understand the meaning of the expression"allegations" ? Who says he is guilty?
Moreover, didn't you read that the wife confessed to the husband that her former boss was the true father of the children.
Brother, I only shared a funny post I saw on WhatsApp, don't accuse me wrongly.

Is a pit .
Yeah, I quite agree with you. That's why women of more successful as bank marketers than their male counterparts. It is a give and take situation.
However, we can't because of this stop our wives who are professional or trained bankers and are passionate about the banking industry not to pursue a career in banking.
We just need to sanitize the Nigerian system.

CBN should please move in and investigate all these people probably paid to carry out smear campaign against FCMB before they bring down a formidable financial institution like FCMB.
Is it the allegations of taking undue advantage of your exalted position as the MD of a Bank to break a marital home which has led to the untimely death of the husband that be investigated or the or the propagators of the smear campaign?

this is coming days after the MD of the Bank was alleged to have fathered the two children of a former employee of the bank - Mrs Moyo Thomas.

You're actually correct.
I share your sentiments.

But there are some things that ought to be put in place also.
Example.
You guys destroyed alcoholic and marijuana in the North.

But you're sharing the VAT alongside the southerners from the FAAC it shouldn't be so.
Bro, please I am not Northerner. I am an Apostle of Truth and Just
I only say the plain and hidden truth in every argument.
Do you know, we have more cases of Drug abuse in the North than in South? But is it right? No
Should society condone it, so that children will start smoking weed in the presence of their parents like we see in the West? No.
Brother, from my observations, the most unprincipled chain smoker will never wish his child to become a smoker even for a day. Do you know why, because what is wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it and what is right is right even if no body does it.
Same with alcohol, it is a sin both in Islam and Christianity, so, why openly endorse what God has forbidden?.
Alcoholism makes a nation unproductive. Why do you think Jonathan was the most ridiculed President Nigeria ever had? Because it is believe that when you start your day with SAPELLE WATER or MONKEY TAIL you will be as good as useless for the rest of the day.
Let's understand this.
In the issue of VAT, I think honestly, the North should ask the Federal Government to excuse them from the sharing of VAT generated from the brewery industry

How I wish I can like your comment a million times.
At the bolded, tho their are some barbaric acts or cultures that the Northerners should stop, it's dragging the country backwards.

Esp, in the aspect of Religion.

Brother, even the British respected those "barbaric" acts you talked about during their stay in Nigeria and that was why they recorded their greatest success in the North. If your society condones berating and belittling of the Creator, good for you but don't try it in places where the Creator is held in high esteem. If your society condones all forms of DECADENCE, good for you. You can do as you wish in your community but don't try it in societies where im moralities are considered as an invitation to God's Wrath.

In the West, you dare not scold your child or even subject him or her to any form of corporal purnishment even when they refuse to serve God or go to churches on Sundays. You try that in America or Europe, Prison will be your resting place. Do you tolerate that in your culture or personal home? No. So why demand for the contrary from the Northerners?
Finally, haven't you heard the saying "when in Rome, You behave like Romans".

With all sense of fairness, what Arrewa posted was just a defense of his heritage. I have read over a thousand comments on nairaland, I think when compared to the ululations of our Southern contemporaries, you can't describe Arrewa as being Tribalistic.
In fact, it seems Nairaland was established solely for the castigation of the North by the way the moderators turn blind eyes to the dererogatory remarks of their Southern brothers.
You can't be in the South and expect to dictate the way of life of others, neither can you migrate to a community and expect them to change their norms and culture because of you. If you can't adapt yourself to their culture, move else where or go back home. This is exactly what Southerners in the North are doing, you want northerners to alter their lifestyles to suit your whims and Caprices; it is not possible
That double standard of a justice must end on Nairaland
doggedfighter:
Arrewa and Yenefer should learn how to conduct themselves on a public forum

They're too tribalistic.

Even after being banned, he's still opening threads and embarking on name calling of the igbos.

Hello Nairalanders,

Reading about how Covid-19 palliatives were left under lock and key across the country left me disheartened and got me thinking?

If the Palliatives were not distributed as planned considering the pang of inconvenience the Covid Pandemic subjected every one to, what would have been the fate of those materials? Putting into consideration how IDPs' funds and materials had been diverted in the past.

Why is it that almost all the Governors across the country were all guilty of this act of inhumanity of man to man?

Do you think those who broke into the warehouses across the Country have done any bad?

Politics / Covid19 Intervention Fund; A Refelection On Recent Intervention Funds by Indabello: 11:07pm On Apr 10, 2020
500 BILLION COVID19 INTERVENTION FUND; A REFELECTION ON RECENT INTERVENTION FUNDS

by
Inda Nurudeen Bello

It was with a feeling of indifference that a good number of Nigerians received the news of 500 billion naira intervention fund(amidst the several billions of naira donated by good will individuals and corporate organisations) being sought by the Federal Government to effectively combat the Covid2-19 pandemic that has swept across the globe. While it is quite fitting and proper that we should do this as it indicates giving the situation the attention of utmost urgency  it deserves, past and recent intervention funds experiences have left a good number of Nigerians skeptical as to the fate that awaits the fund once approved.

Nigeria's emergency funds experiences have shown that agencies and sometimes ministries like NEMA, NDDC, the Presidential Initiative for North East (PINE) the Nigerian Defence Ministry are merchants in the cloak of government agency out to profiteer from every situation possible. For example, despite the one billion dollars intervention fund for the acquisition of arms and ammunition in 2018 plus the allocation of 429.128 billion naira in 2016 budget, 465.57 billion naira in 2017 budget, 580.145 billion naira in 2018 budget 435.62 billion and 878.458 billion naira in 2019 and 2020 budget respectively, the Nigerian defence sector particularly the Nigerian Army is still grappling with challenges of under equipment in weaponry needed to combat terrorism head on.[ Please note, the Chadian government that is now taking the battle to the terrorists have an annual budget of less than 1.5 billion dollars]. In fact, the top army hierarchy was caught in a major shake up recently, in what appeared as a conjured and comical arrangement to rationalize or justify the redeployment of Gen. Adeniyi; the Commander in charge of Operation Lafiya Dole, who spoke against the pathetic situation of officers squaring it out with terrorists in the North Eastern part of the country.

Also, the the alleged Illegal approval and mismanagement of 5.8 billion naira North East Internally Displaced Persons Funds by the Vice President and his Co travellers, the alleged embezzlement of 33 billion naira emergency funds by the a former D.G of NEMA uncovered by the house of reps, the alleged misappropriation of 8 miilion dollars IDP Fund by the Presidential Initiative for the North East uncovered by the senate; The diversion and misappropriation of relief materials and funds for flood victims are high profile intervention funds cases still fresh in our minds like wounds too fresh for the eyes to look at and for the hands to touch.

This doubt or skepticism is further heightened by the failure of our leaders to acknowledge their failings and the squalid nature of our health system. This was evident in the comic response of the Minister of Foreign Affairs as to why Foreign Governments are evacuating their citizens from Nigeria. According to him, these governments are evacuating their citizens because of the desire by those individuals to be close to a health system they are familiar with in case they contract the disease; a comical response meant to salvage a point while covering up the state of neglect our health system has suffered over the years;a situation midwifed by years of thriving profligacy and vision-less leadership.

This should be a moment of self retrospection as a nation, an opportunity right our wrongs, to get our app together particularly in the health sector. The Ministry of Health and the NCDC must not see this as their turn to take their 'fair' share of the 'National Cake', we must avoid heart touching episodes of setting up mystical committees to investigate how donations made by individuals and coporate bodies in support of the fight  against this pandemic were utilised: committees who's  findings will long be lost in the fog and nights of antiquity before it is reached, the officials in charge of procurement must not see this as another avenue of stealing in accordance to the law. This 500 billion intervention fund must be seen as a stepping stone or  the right step towards revitalization of the health sector; acquiring requisite health facilities needed towards making our health system a world class system, adequate remuneration of health personnel to stem the tides of frequent loss of our medical brains to foreign nations among others.

Our leaders must come to terms with realities of our health system and avoid these series of denials and fish tales being dished out to cover for their failings. They must reflect on the ridicule and humiliation this pandemic outbreak has exposed them to at the international level  as seen in the evacuation of foreigners from Nigeria( most disheartening is the fact that fellow Third World Countries like Egypt and Lebanon are evacuating their citizens too) and the suggestion by French Doctors of turning Africa into an experimental ground for testing the efficacy of their vaccines.

Finally, in the spirit of fairness, we must commend the Federal Government's  dogged fight against this pandemic as the government have succeeded greatly were many World Powers have failed as evident in the number of Covid 19 victims and the fatality rate recorded thus far. Indeed, they have proven that they are on top of the situation and are up to the task whenever they have resolutely resolve to work. Also, we must  commend well meaning Nigerians: individuals, corporate organisations, religious bodies and parastatals that have in one way or the other contributed generously in the fight against this pandemic. This spirit of good samaritanism must not only be extended during outbreaks alone it must be extended to post outbreak period as this is what is needed to stem the scourge of poverty that is confronting the country and in achieving even and equitable distribution of resources. Less I forgot to add, the opposition parties must strive to be responsible in critical moments like this and stop their endless and needless rants and criticism at every giving opportunity

they can vote for him but the vote of one local government area among the Igalas will cancel the entire vote in Ebiraland[/quote

Firstly, to the guy that talked of Ebira people voting for Yahya Bello again, I want to tell you point blank that it is not not true. Hunger and poverty bear no Tribal marks nor religion. The Ebiras are the worst affected by the uncivil and in human style of governance being administered by Yaya Bello and his Igala Oracle called Onoja.

Now, to the Tribal bigot called OMA307, to claim that one local government from the Igala axis will cancel all the votes from Ebiraland is a my product of your delusion, a lie concocted from the deepest pit of hell. If you don't know, get this today, the most populated local government in Kogi State is Okene local government. With this, there is no way votes from one local government will cancel out all the votes from Ebiraland.
In as much as it is not disputable that you people the Igalas have a numerical edge over others, it amounts to gross exaggeration to say one local government in your axis surpassed the five local government of the Ebiras put together.

Finally, in as much as Yahya Bello has failed woefully in governance, others before him like Ibrahim Idris and Idris Ichalla Wada were disasters in governance too, neither was Audu any saint. In other words, each an every tribe has their good, the bads and Pazzos among them, it is just unfortunate that it is the Pazzo among the Ebiras that this opportunity fell into his hands, it doesn't mean we do not have good people amongst us breaking ground in administration allover the globe
