Buhari will cease to be President in about a year. His absolute influence over the party will wane going forward as some Governors will no longer just accept everything he wants in the party.

It seems some of these Governors are now prepared to fight dirty to protect their own interest. Al Makura was in Ondo state yesterday, and Akeredolu openly entertained his campaign, despite Buhari already endorsing a candidate.

Peter odili is not Tinubu. Odili lacked political intelligence, how do you expect to replace a southerner with another southerner after his 8yrs.? It was clear from the beginning that power was definitely going back to the north. It's not even about declaring first, it's about the person declaring. Tinubu can not be defeated by any aspirant in the APC. Remember that all those that declared around same time with him are no where to be found.
