PRP came second to PDP.

APC was distant third....it was a protest vote.
It must be connected to issues of internal democracy. Maybe the person majority wanted was circumvented by powers that be. I love what happened in that regard. The political class must realize that the ultimate power in democracy belongs to the people.

the same Pdp won in Jos/bassa federal constituency by-election yesterday. Keep on deceiving yourself. The results is online to see for yourself. Stop displaying your hypocrisy here.
You're a notorious loser bro. The whole universe knows that about you.

it was results of Akure North that shoots Apc candidate to victory and in Akure south local government, it was tight race with tight results. Pdp won in Akure south local government but the results was very close. Apc and it’s candidate was well prepared than Pdp in the Akure by-election yesterday. Congratulations to the winner.
You were posting one-sided results.

Summary of yesterday's elections by INEC:

Ondo - APC

Plateau - APC

Imo - APC

Cross River:
Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency - APC

Akpabuyo State Constituency - PDP

4:1

May PDP continue to win on the social media, Amen!!!
With what I'm seeing I think the PDP should just forget about 2023.
The APC is getting even stronger across Nigeria.

I'm not sure pdp stands any chance against APC in 2023. The APC is still very strong across Nigeria.

If you know how OUK won his own, you will laugh.

Go and check the results for Guber and Senator. Na arrangement, he wins Senate and his House of Reps, the Party loses those same places for Guber. He trades it with the PDP-led Govt.

OUK lost twice before he won this one because his nemesis died on the seat.

Okorocha won when he was still Gov, outgoing at the time.... It's not the same thing/
It's unpardonable for Akpabio to lose his senatorial district. I'm telling you. He even shamelessly decided to falsify results. I respect people who can win election in their domain irrespective of party they go to. Check the history of yakubu dogara.

Atleast you should win your district. My brother that guy give us hope for 2019 aswear. You would think Akwa ibom has collapsed to Apc the way he was hyping everywhere. Lol.....

Even Uzor kalu and okorocha won their senatorial district with Apc in the south east.
Akpabio is overrated. Thank God the state structure has been taken away from him.

Don't forget, Ayade is the incumbent Gov & this is his Senatorial Zone.....Akpabio wasn't.
Akpabio lost his own senatorial election when he changed party.
Oshiomhole has never lost his senatorial district. He's no longer a governor.

There are no polling units on nairaland or social media.

You got it wrong... It's only for political appointed positions and not for elective positions. Osibanjo, Umahi are elective positions holders, hence they are not caught up. Only the appointed position holders like ministers, commissioners and others are barred. Although, Buhari had rejected that section of the bill and he had a discussion, prior to his assent with both chambers' representatives to remove that section as it contravens our constitution and they agreed to remove it.
I think Buhari is trying to protect Emefele, Amaechi's interests cheesy
I don't see any wrong in the clause 84.
Simply resign if you want to contest or partake in the politics. It'll help prevent distraction.

They should leave that clause 84 alone. It's a good thing, I don't know why malami not Buhari wants it out.
