Crime / Re: Pls Someone Managed To Withdraw From My Account Without Using My ATM Card. by infinixhot3(m): 10:06am On Aug 12, 2021
Dear OP, I guess someone close to you had access to your phone and your PIN.

The transaction Was a cardless withdrawal on a POS machine. Next time, do not disclose your PIN to anyone including your friends and family.

For some ignorant saying that POS operator copied his details, may God forgive you cos it's never possible for anyone to make any transaction on your bank account without access to your phone and PIN.

I'm 100% sure that it's someone close to you that did it.

Please like how much is reasonable for capital (after buying the POS machine)?
thank you

100k is okay.

You put 2
30k for your wallet for deposit and 70k cash for withdrawal.

As time goes on you grow from it.

Does opay set target

Yes OPAY set targets of continuous usage of their device.

4 days of no transactions, the terminal will be blocked until you carry out 5 different transaction worth 50k or more.

This policy recently employed because of some abandoned usage of their terminals

Go for OPAY to avoid unnecessary debiting, fail transaction, etc.

OPAY is the best when it comes to charges. It's the cheapest.

OPAY customer service is very okay

Their terminal price are

Smart( Android POS ) 50k
Traditional ( Analogue or button POS) 35k
Mini MPOS ( calculate one) 8.5k

These are official price, price may be more that the stated above if you're getting it from an aggregator.

FYI, I'm in the business and I can joyfully tell you that the business is ok if you have a reasonable capital and a good location.

Okay thanks bro . Actually I consider opening at a school environment and close to the school gate but after I might have done this I should be left with 100k. How much do you think 100 k profit would come out considering been in a school environment too

With your 100k, you can make 1k- 2k if you're good in negotiations.

I'll advise not to be eager about the profit too much, but try and get started.

Consistency is key in this business.

Have policy that will be favorable to you.

What would be the outcome of investing 200 k into a pos business for one month?
Again the 200k covers acquiring the machine, registering to any possible agent/association or whatever and the rest as a sole capital to start up.

With 200k, excluding acquiring POs machine. you can still start as far as you a bank is close to you.

Your capital depends the profit you make and this will reduce the stress of going to bank often.

You must be smart and wise make em no run you street with fake alert, and other fraud.

It's advisable

If you have a capital of a million plus with a good location, you might be getting about 200k a month. A brother of mine has like 4 POS shops, dude makes nothing less than 700k a month from all his shops

No be lie. I run the POS business for a friend, the capital is 700k within a month we made 150k pure profit excluding all expenses,my feeding and transport.

So with good location and a reasonable capital POS business is good but you must be smart and wise cos of fraudsters.

I don't know the cause of this fight, but Apapa and Tin can had been sitting on a keg of gunpowder since, due to the influx of those thugs, collect money from trucks, and bikes alike

I run a business at Tincan first gate. The shooting started yesterday between police officer and thugs, they are called them (awon Omo Ibadan) at second gate close to Liverpool. Police has been shooting and shooting teargas.

The cause of the fracas as at today is yet to be known, but a young man was shot dead and many got wonder by the police this afternoon when those boys started again.

Everyone had to run for their life when those boys heard about the death of one of them and mobilise from Ajegunle.

So the news is real. Police had to run and take cover
