Don't be foolish. no one was expecting buhari to defeat Jonah-daft in rivers. Even buhari himself isn't expecting such. It remain a sham because of the unwarranted intimidation that occurred and electoral processes ignored. I voted in Ph and i can authoritatively tell u that as soon as voting ended, counting wasn't done on the spot, results weren't announced neither was the result sheet pasted for public consumption as stipulated by the law. Some of my staffs and friends also confirm this same scenario to me in their units. Even here on NL, we see members publishing what was posted in their various units as results from that units but none so far has come from ss se. If there was any in my unit, i would have done the same. The truth is, many of these units had no result sheet to record what transpired so they had to move on after voting. My brother you are right in my unit though the election went on smoothly but the electoral officer where not corpers but community boys that took one reading card reader manual before some from inec was called to set up the machine for them even at that we still use the incident form and result was never called out for us to hear but was told that they party agents have it. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Should I pay a whooping sum of 500k to get a job? Please Advice!!!.... by infohenry(m): 3:09pm On Mar 11, 2015 |
nurexfutmx: I lost my job last year december, have been trying to get another job since then but all to no avail. Am getting frustrated by the day cos i don't see any job coming, I was able to save up to 500k during my time in my former workplace. Now, the question is...
1. Am thinking of going for MSc which i may end up spending the whole money on and God forbid, what if i still don't get any job after the programme won't i go back to square one?
2. I'm thinking maybe i could invest in something profitable and start up a little business but i really want to build my career and with that little sum of money i have, i may end up making little or no gain which i could possibly lose lots of money aswell.
3. The third and last one am really interested doing is someone promised me a job in NNPC and he is asking me to pay 300k for a slot there but from experience of what happened to be last year, i lost 150k to a family friend who promised me a job in Nigeria Custom but i end up got scammed. It didn't workout, am trying to avoid such mistake again.
I've always wish to work with a goverment parastatal (a very good one) and i don't mind forfeiting the whole 500k to get it only if i can be rest assured it will workout.
Am really confused and don't know what to do with my life....i need u guys advice please! If you love yourself don't give anybody #10 I mean ten naira for NNPC slot this is one of the old scam format, there is nothing like nnpc slot and I repeat don't part with your hard earn money. Start something with your money while searching for genuine job. All the best. |

menesheh: Anti GEJ media organisation
Always expecting words from the president.
For me, Jega must go siting reasons
-uneven distribution of pvc -parciality in collection of pvc -meeting with APC leaders in Dubia -saying he is ready while far from ready -anti-GEJ -Non test of card reader in a smaller election b4 being use in national election -misapropration of fund meant for the sucess of the pvc sensitization -and numerous others etc
He could not achieve anything in the last 4 years and we are still talking abt distribution of pvc now.
That mean there will be total failure in the D day for the election The new man will correct all these you mentioned in 4wks. The political class will surely be happy with people like you as their followers because common sense is really on long vacation. |

Politics › Re: Soludo Replies Okonjo-Iweala, Accuses Her Of Forging National Economics Stats by infohenry(m): 9:20am On Feb 03, 2015 |
Marvin67: When two elephants fight the grass suffer. Please let's look at this from a neutral angle. While I agree that Fayemi's response was more professional and more matured, it is also important to note that Soludo simply spanked APC by saying it's plans were unrealistic, but at the same time he thrashed PDP by calling the government a failure and referring to the economic management team of madam is poor. That was an attack on madam.
Now to the issue, statistics are funny and I usually have problems with economists because they rely more on statistics than reality. I know for sure that Soludo is very wrong about his comment on Peter Obi. Anambrarians know that Peter Obi was not just a good governor but a very modest governor whose performance speaks out.
I also know that somehow Soludo gave us 25 banks out of which some were sick and eventually government had to spend money to bail out. I also recall that when madam Ngozi was insisting we save our excess crude money governor Amaechi and the governors forum vehemently kicked against it, and eventually we ended up sharing the money. I remember that under Soludo our inflation rate was around 13% but today it stands at a single digit of around 8%.
This is the same NOI that forbes rated as one of the most underatted achievers of 2015. This is the same Nigerian economy rated by the world bank and CNN as the third fastest growing for 2015. It would be wrong for Soludo to say madam was not part of his glory days as CBN governor. He has worked under two presidents while madam had worked under 3. I know madam's team would bring their reply and give us their own stats which would flaw Soludo's stats, again let's not forget that stats can be decieving. Neutral indeed, one problem I have with this government is that they never take responsibilty always blaming somebody for their failure, if the state governors refuse to save with them the excess crude money, how much did the federal government saved from their own share or they didn't partake in the sharing? Soludo ask for a debate let them give him one simple. |

ogene007: Part of the change Buhari will bring to you is to permit his co- fulani cattle rearers to settle on every part of the country, graze their cattle on any farmland, get away with violence against the original occupants and owners of the land, and over time, build their mosques right beside your churches, and eventually have an emir appointed for them in your state. To cap up the Islamization process, the fulanis will eventually agitate for the implementation of sharia across all those states they have settled over the years, of which the 1999 constitution permits them. They will start with the bullshit argument that the sharia is only for Moslems, but their sharia police will redefine 'freedom' for you at the end of the day. This project is planned for the next 30 years, with Buhari only serving to wrest power as the first in a long line of Jihadist Rulers of Nigeria, as part of the new centenary (100 years), which kicks of from 2015. It is pertinent for the gullible Christians who are queuing up behind Buhari to note that they are playing a dangerous game the the future of their faith, they want to use their own hands to ensure that they are the last Nigerian christians, God forbid. The National Assembly already has a bill before it, which proposes to set up grazing lands for the fulanis, across the entire country, so for those of you who will come with your moronic and deluded arguments that Buhari cannot Islamize Nigeria, just know that the Islamization project is a already on. Good students of history ought to learn from what happened to Lebanon, to see how a 99.75% Christian country became a 98% Islamic country within just three decades. Palestinian liberation organization (PLO) and Hezbollah coupled with the naïvety of the then Lebanese Christians, made it happen, just like Boko haram and the naïvety of some present day Nigerian Christians, including pastors, bishops, GOs and floor members, are trying to make it happen in Nigeria. It is important that political Islam which is what Buhari and his co-Islamists stand for, is thrown away into the dust bin of history, with the Nigerian constitution amended to ensure that their is no ambiguity as to the secularity of the country. The freedom of worship, which is part and parcel of a free society is non-negotiable, and any attempt to move us away from that must be fully resisted. This is a clarion call to all lovers of a truly free Nigerian society to queue up behind the candidacy of GEJ, because he remains the best option in leading Nigeria in this new centenary. GEJ till 2019 one word "NONSENSE" |
