A love-struck Nigerian soldier has gone down on one knee to propose to a policewoman inside a police station.

A Nigerian soldier who is apparently drunk in love, has warmed the hearts of many with a very romantic deed which he performed recently.

The man took to proposing to his sweetheart. And with his very heartfelt proposal, he has shown that even men as tough as military officers can be swept away by love.

The man who took to kneeling down publicly and expressing his love for his bae. Then he brought a ring and popped the question she must have been dying to hear.

But the beautiful part of it all was that his bae is no ordinary one; she is a police officer of the law. In essence, the duo were nearly in the same line of service. That they could have such a relationship that could blossom into an engagement is a surprise to many.

So, to surprise his 'police bae', the said soldier went to her police station supposedly located in Ogui Road, Enugu.

He asked her to marry him, she said yes and they advanced towards kissing each other.

Seventy-two Nigerian women, a Togolese, and seven Ghanaians were confirmed arrested in a recent raid on commercial sex workers in Ghana.

Ghanaian journalist, Ameyaw Debrah who shared the video on Twitter, reported that the women were arrested in Adenta Community.

According to him, the foreigners will be deported to their countries, while the 7 Ghanaians will be handed to the Ghana police.

Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries International has claimed to have raised a man from the dead during a church service on Sunday.
In a Live service held on Sunday at Alleluia Ministries, A Kings and Queens car arrived with a coffin containing a dead man.
Lukau came out and prayed for the man. The man allegedly came back to life and was taken inside the church and paraded as a testimony.
Social media users from all over the world received the alleged miracle with mixed feelings. Some alleged that the Pastor had staged a drama to increase his ratings while some believe that it was a genuine miracle.

Earlier today, we reported that a political thug met his end today after voters decided enough was enough and took matters into their own hands.

The thug was stoned and set ablaze in Lagos by the voters in what has been described as electoral jungle justice.

The sad incident happened at Isolo, Lagos State.

The thug has been identified as Demola. The leader of OPC in Lagos.

The incident took place at Akarabata ward 1 Units 1-12 which is situated in Lagere, Oranmiyan tower complex.

The lady whose name could not be verified at the time was stabbed by another voter while on the queue.

A fight had ensued over who was and who wasn’t on the said queue.

In the course of the squabble, the victim was stabbed in the face with a bottle.

AIG Oyebade said the situation is not one to be extremely worried about.

He noted that calm and normalcy and assured the residents to come out and exercise their franchise. Police in Osun state apprehends a lady who stabbed another woman at a polling unit in Lagere.

Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari has defeated the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar at Atiku’s polling unit in Yola.

It was earlier reported The president scored 523 votes while the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar got only three votes in Daura, Katsina

President Buhari polled 186 votes, Atiku polled 167 votes.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday addressed the nation ahead of the rescheduled general elections.

The national broadcast by the President came less than one day to the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The polls would be followed by the governorship and state houses of assembly elections on March 9.

He said, “I believe INEC realises the profound and weighty duty that rests upon it.

“We must cast aside doubt and have faith that INEC will rise to the occasion. We must believe and encourage INEC to fulfill and honour this responsibility it owes to our country.

“As your President, I hereby ask all Nigerians with voting cards to participate in defining the future of our nation by exercising your democratic rights tomorrow. I urge you to go out and vote.”

APC National chairman, Adams Oshiomole has accused INEC of colluding with PDP.

Speaking at a special caucus meeting of the APC on Monday morning, Oshiomole said INEC had earlier informed PDP before postponing last Saturday's elections.

ABUJA- PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has warned those planning to snatch ballot boxes during the elections as he said that those caught doing that will pay with his or her live.

President Buhari who stated this at the opening session of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Caucus meeting in Abuja, on Monday, said that such act would be the last unlawful act the person will engage in.
But the governors of Imo, Rochas Okorocha and Ogun, Ibikunle Amosun were conspicuously absent at the meeting.
President Buhari disclosed that he has ordered security agents to deal ruthlessly with party thugs that try to snatched ballot boxes.

Buhari who said he is confident that he has garnered enough supporters having gone round the country to campaign, urged party members to reassure their constituents to come out and vote on the rescheduled dates.
The President urged party agents to watch out for the party interests at the polling units.
He said that he has directed security agencies to identify hot spots and be ready to move should they suspect any attempts to cause problems by thugs across the country irrespective of party affiliations.
He said that he was told about the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to postpone the last Saturday election at quarter to 5 in the morning of the elections.
He said that INEC had all the time and resources, didn’t have to wait six hours to the elections to announced postponement.
“Definitely, INEC must explain to Nigerians what happened, the constitution and the law protects INEC but they must not take us for granted.
“If we had failed to provide all what INEC wanted, then we would have been held responsible
“So at least after the elections we will have to go into details to find out what happened,” he said.

Following the last minute postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections originally scheduled for Saturday 16th February to 23rd February, a twitter user named Abubakar sidiq has exposed all that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has done regarding the election before the postponement.
“INEC already have results issued to them from about 6 core PDP states and ballot papers already in their possession prior to the elections.”

The arrest of a young man in possession of filled INEC result sheet in Umuahia, aday before the election, who confessed that he was working for the Abia state government, an allegation the governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has denied.

Popular Nigerian music superstar, Davido, has got social media buzzing after reacting to the postponement of the Saturday’s presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

We had reported that INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, while addressing reporters at the press centre of the commission’s headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s Capital said that the polls would not go on as planned due to some challenges encountered by the commission.

He explained that the decision to postpone the polls followed a careful review of the implementation of the logistics and operational plans put in place for the exercise.
