President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that nobody can unseat him.

He said contrary to opinions in some quarters, he had the strength to lead the country for four more years.

Buhari stated this in an interview aired on Friday on the verified Instagram page of CNN Africa while responding to doubts about his ability to govern the country for a second term.

The interviewer had asked the President, “This is a vibrant democracy. You came in, unseating the incumbent. Are you worried the same could happen to you?”

To this, Buhari responded, “No. Nobody would unseat me.”

He added, “I am ready to take this country forward for the next four years.”

When asked his plans for containing the terror in the North-East, the President insisted that Boko Haram was no longer “technically” having a grip on any local government area in the region.

He said, “We have 774 local governments in this country. They (Boko Haram) used to hold 17. They are not technically holding any local government now.

“But they are indoctrinating young men and women, especially girls, wrap them up with explosives and let them explode in soft targets like churches, mosques, market places, motor parks and other places.”

Buhari added, “Of course, we are doing our best (to contain the terror) and we thank some foreign countries in Europe and the United States for training our armed forces and going to the battle front to see how they have performed.”

As we approach the 2019 general elections, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, took out time to teach and demonstrate how to properly handle ones ballot paper after voting.

Violence mars Buhari’s Ogun rally, crowd throws missiles at Oshiomhole, boos Tinubu

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday at the Ogun State All Progressives Congress presidential rally in Abeokuta, narrowly escaped being stoned as suspected thugs pelted the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, with stones and water sachets.


The crowd also booed Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Oshiomhole and the national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu.
The rally, which started immediately after President Buhari arrived at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta venue of the event at about 3.pm, was suspended for some minutes following the violence that broke out.
Violence erupted when Oshiomhole was invited to the podium for his speech. As he began to speak, suspected hoodlums started throwing stones at him and one of the stones flew in the direction of the President.

He was saved by one of the security operatives who was hit by one of the stones thrown in the direction of the APC chairman.

Tinubu leaves podium in anger
The development angered the leaders of the party, including Tinubu, who left the podium while the President was making his remarks.

Tinubu was so enraged that while he was leaving the podium, he flung the APC’s flag which was placed beside him and went to sit in his car parked in the President’s convoy.

While he was going into the car, he was followed by some suspected thugs who were shouting ‘ole’, ‘ole’,’ole ‘ole’ (thief, thief, thief ) after him.

Oshiomhole further aggravated the crisis when he mentioned Dapo Abiodun as the party’s governorship candidate in the state while addressing the crowd.

Currently causing waves online, stealing of pants has become one problem ladies are facing

25-year-old panel beater, Adejoh Ojonugwa was recently arrested for stealing the pants of his sister and sister in-law, has said that Prophet Olajide Ogunleye also known as Kokoro-Ayo, of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ibanujemidopin Parish, Uso in Owo Council area of the state, sent him to steal the pants as part of the rituals to make him rich.
While being paraded at the Ogun state police command, Adejoh said he recently approached Ogunleye for ways to get rich fast and that the clergyman asked him to get pants and ladies underwear.


“l was given a concoction by the prophet and, from that point, l could not remember what l was doing until l was arrested by police detectives. l regained my memory after four days when l remembered visiting the prophet for assistance to get rich. I had visited the prophet to pray for me because of my work and how to get rich.
After checking my palm, he told me there were ways out but asked me to swallow some concoction and prayed for me but asked me to look for ladies pants and underwear. But when I got home I didn’t know what I was doing again and l started looking for pants and underwear. I found three of my sister’s pants and l went to my brother’s house where l took two of my sister-in-law’s pants.
Hours later, my sister-in-law raised the alarm that her underwear were missing and I was arrested and taken to the police station. Two of the pants belong to my sister-in-law and the three others belong to my younger sister. When the police arrested me, I was taken to Uso Police Station before they transferred me here (Akure)” Adejoh said

The sister-in-law of the suspect, Grace Ojonugwa, said her brother-in-law stole the underwear from where she spread it to dry in their house.
“It was my husband’s younger brother who stole the pants. He was actually trailing me to spread them. I met my brother-in-law inside our room. He had already packed two of my pants inside his travelling bag. l had spread the two pants on the line inside our room. Three other pants that did not belong to me were also seen inside the bag he was carrying” Grace said
Prophet Ogunleye denied hypnotising Adejoh nor asking him to bring ladies pants for money ritual.
“I am a true man of God and I have never seen Adejoh in my life. He is lying against me. The truth of the matter is that they came to me for a parcel of land and I refused to give them. I never asked him to bring any underwear for ritual. They feel it is an opportunity to implicate me in this crime since I had refused to give them the land to cultivate Indian hemp. I engage in spiritual cleansing for people, mostly pregnant women who have difficulties so they can give birth early and easily. I don’t engage in rituals as it is against the belief of our church. The allegation is pure lie against me. l don’t know the boy from Adams and l am surprised about the allegation against me. I am a prophet. l pray for people. l use morning dew and lime to heal diseases but l know nothing about money rituals” Ogunleye said.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Okey Onyegbule known as Okey Bakassi is making his way to becoming on of the public speakers on issues of relationships. In a recent interview, he shared advice to men on the kind of woman they should marry.
Speaking on women and men having equal rights, he stated that men who want a woman who will serve and worship them should not marry educated women and stick to illiterates whom will welcome the idea of service in marriage.
"If you don’t believe that man and woman are equal and have equal rights, don’t bother about marriage. If you are looking for a woman to worship and serve you, don’t marry an educated woman." He said.

He added that men who are very jealosu should not bother marrying beautiful women. He said: "If you are insecure and too jealous, don’t marry a beautiful woman."
He however sealed his words of wisdom with the idea that men who are looking for a premium relationship with a suitable spouse can go for beautiful and well-educated women.
He said: "If you are looking for a beautiful woman who will give and raise beautiful children with you, take you to the next level, support you in times of needs, then marry a beautiful woman who is hardworking and educated, and has a mind of her own. If you don’t have the right tools and the right skills set to sustain a marriage, you can learn. But no carry person daughter punish am o.”


This is not the first time Bakassi will dish out relationship advise. Once he talked about how having relationships before marriage is a way to get experience for the future.

Report has it that the man who allegedly mobilized thugs to molest and torture a lady over phone theft in a trending video, has been arrested.

According to Jefferson Uwoghiren, the man was arrested yesterday evening, along with the manager of a hotel he lodged briefly in Benin City, Edo state.

The suspect was temporarily and amorously linked with the victim and subsequently complained of a missing phone. He collared the victim to a native “doctor”, around Ugbiyokho area of Ekehuan Road, Benin City, to determine the culpability of the victim.

The victim was instantaneously pronounced guilty and asked to produce the missing phone. Victim’s denial and protest fell on deaf ears.

The suspect, native “ doctor” and apprentice native “ doctors” pounced on the victim , beat her up, striped her naked, and procured granulated chilly pepper, popularly called “ Akpoko” in local language and inserted it into the victim’s private, all dramatically caught on video.

According to reports, a massive manhunt is on native “ doctor” and his apprentices.

The League of Patriotic Lawyers had earlier given Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olusegun Odumosu, 24 hours to unravel those behind the torture of the lady.
