Akintomide Akinbinu popularly known as WORLDHERO was equally full of praise for the National Working Commitee on the outcome of the special convention for Governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state which went smoothly without violence and disruption of economic or civil sectors of the state.

In preparation towards ONDO 2024, friends, loyalists and selected TRM workforce across the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo gathered yesterday, Saturday, 26th of August, 2023 at Ade Super Hotel, Akure, Ondo State.

One of the highlights of the event however, was the reward of a Honda car to the Chairman of Tunji Rhema Foundation, Mr. Sayo Akindele(SP) whom Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero described as a committed, efficient, trustworthy loyalist.

He thanked the car recipient for his effectiveness and unwavering support for over 21-years of their relationship, while charging other inaugurated members to be consistent and resolute.

Mr. Sayo Akindele who was overwhelmed with the joy of being a car owner when it was least expected, described Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero as a leader of men whose endearing qualities continue to rob on his followers and transcend Ondo State. Mr Sayo Akindele welcomed a bouncing baby boy and was today blessed with a Honda Baby Car.

OPEN LETTER TO ONDO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SPEAKER, RT. HON. OLAMIDE OLADIJI.

Dear Sir,

ODIGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND THE IMPENDING CRISIS

I am writing this letter to you as Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly because of the urgent attention it requires to stop Odigbo Local Government from implosion if the people's will is subjugated, a situation that could lead to the repeat of the Ife/Madakeke ethnic conflict, the Ogoni/Andonis ethnic clashes, and the Jukun/Tiv ethnic unrest.

Tension, apprehension and suspicion are rife across Odigbo Local Government at the moment over the alleged imposition of an Igbo ethnic stock as caretaker chairman of the council by the First Lady, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu.

Mind you, we do not hate Igbo or any tribe as indigenes of Odigbo Local Government. Infact, we are the most accommodating Local Government in Nigeria after Lagos. Take a look at this: the present Vice Chairman of Odigbo LGA is not from here. The Secretary to the Local Government is not also from here. Remember we are yet to recover from Rt. Hon. Iroju Ogundeji who represented us for 8 years in the house, yet we have another one presently from Kwara State. This same Nwamara Eucheria was imposed as Supervisor and consequently Ore Ward Councillor, the position she occupies till date. During these times, the elders were able to manage the situation then by appealing to the youths and stakeholders to be civil in their approach.

Mr Speaker, as a grassroot politician, I sense an endless crisis looming but we have been appealing to our people to hold their peace. But no matter the colour anyone may want to paint this, it is injustice and unfairness to the Odigbo people and their unborn children. We have more non-indigenes in Owo, Idanre and Akure, yet they play their politics well because there is order. Everyone should know their boundaries as touching appointments and elected positions. Nwamara can be compensated by her sister by appointing her in any capacity but not as indigenous Chairman. This is the closest government to the people. It would be absurd seeing our Royal Fathers taking briefs from her. This is one of our birthrights as a people. And Odigbo people - home and abroad this time will resist unfairness and injustice. "Gbogbo nkan loni iwon."

To emphasise to you, Mr Speaker that our people don't hate non-indigenes, I will loose count of non-indigenes including Igbos and the same Nwamara, who have benefitted from my NGO - Tunji Rhema Foundation. My late Dad preferred to give his houses and shops to Igbos. God has blessed them on Odigbo soil and there has never been rift. Therefore, imposition of Nwamara Eucheria should not start what would not end easily.

It would be recall that Arabirin withdrew her participation from the Imo East APC Senatorial race during the build up to the last election, citing irregularities, including intimidation, injustice, unfairness, lack of transparency and the use of force in the way the primaries were conducted as reasons for her withdrawal. She lamented bitterly before the camera. Odigbo people is appealing to her not to promote what she once condemned in hard terms.

Mr Speaker, for clarity of purpose, the First Lady has no constitutional right to choose who becomes the local government chairman anywhere in Ondo State. Whatever respect she is being accorded is because of her status as the wife of our Governor, because the Yoruba culture respects the wife as much as the husband. It is our duty as politicians not to allow anyone water down the good achievements of Mr Government and we are praying for his safe arrival.

There are eminently qualified individuals in Odigbo Local Government who understand the culture and tradition of their people, who command respect, who are popular and know where the shoe pinches. To want to jettison all these may throw the entire local government into chaos.

Ore, the Headquarters of Odigbo Local Government is the commercial hub of the entire Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State, and it is home to virtually all the tribes that make up Nigeria including the Yorubas, Hausas, Igbos, Fulanis, Igalas, Tivs etc and they coexist and transact businesses, therefore any unpopular decision that could pitch these tribes against each other must not be allowed to stand.

History has proven that the most fiercest conflict ever recorded is tribal or inheritance based war and we don't want that in our domain. This is why we are appealing to the authorities concern to listen to the voice of our people.

Odigbo LG has consistently suffered some form of political degradation, neglection and it appears nobody is willing to come to our rescue. As it stands politically, Odigbo Local Government indigenous people have no stake in the present administration at state and federal levels. No Senate, no House of Representatives and the present occupier of Odigbo Constituency 1 at the Ondo State House of Assembly is a native of Kwara State. Out of 11 Ward Councillors, we begged to get 4 in the Local Government. We have now been made second citizens in our own land. "Ko si Obo ni idanre mo," the people say.

I want to use this opportunity to call on you as well as other members of the State Assembly to help sustain the relative peace and coexistence that we enjoy today by taking a firm stand against illegality.

As representatives of the people of Ondo State, I call on our respectable lawmakers to intervene and stop the First Lady from setting Odigbo Local Government ablaze.

Honourable Speaker, I want to join my people to express my displeasure over what is about to happen in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State. I do not want anything that will diminish the good legacy of Arakunrin in our area in the last 6 years. It is my duty as APC Chieftain and grassroot politician to advise and seek anything that will promote good governance in Ondo State.

After all, government is about the people and government must be sensitive to the plight of its citizens while ensuring justice and fairness.

I therefore appeal to Mr Speaker and the 10th House of Assembly members of Ondo State to look into this critical matter. It is Odigbo today, it may be O.Y.O tomorrow. Our people trust in the capability of the 10th Assembly.

We look forward to better days as we keep hope alive.

Popular NGO, Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative (DHDEI) is set to hold Ore Youth Symposium as part of the event to hold the International Youth Day to mark International Youth Day 2023.

The Ore Youth Symposium tagged "Youth Empowerment for Global Action; Why You Are Where You Are" is scheduled to hold at Mini Top Hall, Top Site Hotel which is located at 5, Owodunni Street, behind Moganbe Hotel, Ore, Ondo State on August 12, 2023.

Prominent Nigerian and resourceful person to host the event include Hon. Dr . TUNJI RHEMA MOYERO, the founder of TUNJI RHEMA FOUNDATION as the guest speaker with Mrs. Margaret Akinsoruju, Executive Chairman, Odigbo Local Government as the host of the event.

The symposium is part of programs lined up by the Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative (DHDEI) to engage the youths and foster individual and national development through vocational skills acquisition and productivity

Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero has visited Irewunmi at Idi-Mango and Omileye at Iroju Street in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State to inspect the level of damage caused by flood due to incessant downpour in recent days and offered support for the victims of the rain disaster just as he encouraged them not to lose hope in spite of the unfortunate situation.



He noted with sadness that though flood is a natural disaster that occur when an overflow of water submerges land that is naturally dry, however, said its devastating effects can be cushioned if residents become more proactive and desist from indiscriminate erection of buildings along waterways, dumping of refuse on river channels, drainages or canals.



The founder of Tunji Rhema Foundation therefore appeal to the local and state government to come up with victims-support initiative and proffer lasting solution to this natural disaster to prevent reoccurrence.

This clearly indicates Mr. President's confidence in your ability to contribute to his Renewed Hope agenda as one of the youth ambassadors in Ondo State whose impacts politically have continued to make a strong case for youth's readiness to attain the mantle of leadership.

I received with great sadness the news of the tanker explosion which occurred yesterday, Sunday, 23rd of July, 2023, at Showboy, Ore, in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, where scores of death have been recorded.

I sympathise with the family, friends, and loved ones of the victims of this unfortunate fire accident and pray such will never happen in our domain again.

I however implore the State Government in collaboration with the Local Government on making fire service trucks and personnel available in every nooks and corners in Ondo State especially Akure, the State Capital and Ore, the main commercial city as a preventive measure against future occurrences.

Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero  is a young, vibrant, visionary and compassionate youth development expert cum politician. He is an educationist, realtor, business expert, author, philanthropist and administrator per excellence.

Chief Tunji Rhema Moyero is passionate and adequately equipped to transform Ondo State to a place where citizens live to their true potentials irrespective of their social, ethnic or religion divide.

 He wants to build an Ondo State where sound education, good healthcare service, adequate security of life and prosperty are top priority. Where foreign investors and businesses thrive to create job opportunities for the teeming youths of the state and also boost the state's IGR (Internally Generated Revenue) for the greater benefits of all.

 For those about to ask what TRM's antecedents were.

 Though Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero joined the political fray and contested for the seat of Member Ondo State House of Assembly in 2019 and 2022 respectively, but his positive impacts on humanity have been overwhelming and consistent over the years. He is not one to be justifiably accused of joining politics for the perks because he has shown that his entire life has always been about adding values to the lives of his people, his society and country as a whole. He believes the society is one's true reflection.

 Right from his days as a serving youth corps member, TRM demonstrated his undeniable passion for genuine transformation of his society by single-handedly establishing and equipping a library that was subsequently named after him and which earned him the state's Most Outstanding Corps Member Award in Nasarawa State.

 Similarly, through his NGO - Tunji Rhema Foundation, launched at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, in 2016, lots of lost hopes have been rekindled. For instance, youths from Ankoma Village in Nasarawa were awarded free sponsorship in Tailoring &  Fashion Design, Catering &  Event Management and Hair Dressing &  Beauty Saloon, as well as donation of hundreds of exercise book and pens to school children in addition to cash gift and other relief materials to the camp of the Internally Displaced Person(IDP) in Nasarawa State. Rhema believes in adding value to humanity.

 In education, TRM has also awarded over 400 school scholarships to secondary school students across Ondo,  Ekiti, Osun, Kwara, Edo, and Kogi State respectively till date in credence to his belief that education is the best legacy.

 He has also extended his humanitarian gesture to other young Nigerians who desire vocational skills with the sponsorship of over 150 different vocational trainings including Hair-dressing, Barbing, Video/Photography, Tailoring & Fashion Design, Furniture, Mobile Phones/Laptop Repair, Plumbing etc across Ondo State and beyond.

His free medical programme which featured Dental Assessment & Treatment, Eye Test & Treatment (Free glasses), General Medical Check-ups, Free Drugs, and Counselling in Ondo State is one of his health initiatives.

TRM has also contributed immensely to building friendship and fostering unity among the youth through football, the world's most popular sport. He has donated kits and cash prizes to outstanding performers at major sponsored football competitions as a form of encouragement.

 The Tunji Rhema Foundation boasts of over 500 volunteers across Ondo State. Some of these committed, young men and women were responsible for his "Keep Ore Clean" program: a laudable community sensitization, cleaning and refuse removal from dump sites and major market places year in year out, as well as the recent Odigbo/Ajue Ward Indigenous Youth Summit 2023 where over 800 youth were lectured about their roles in community development, personal growth, dignity of labour  and some million of Naira grants given to participants.

Two years ago, he marked his 40th birthday by donating two branded patrol vehicles to the Nigerian Police Force and received by the Ondo State Commissioner of Police. On the same day, a car gift was given to the Overall Winner of Ondo Youth Talent Hunt Show organised by Tunji Rhema Foundation. These are just few things we can write about the person of TRM.

 Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero recorded all these achievements as a corporate individual without any political luxury, which makes it outstanding and commendable.

 Incontrovertibly, TRM is a man who has demonstrated endearing leadership and human capacity management beyond the rhetoric.

 He has shown clearly that our society can work only when we support and encourage people who possess the heart, knowledge and experience required to transform it to a desired one.

 This is who Dr. Tunji Rhema Moyero is - a remarkable achiever, an outstanding grassroots politican of impeccable standing, and mentor of next generation of Nigerian leaders eagerly waiting to make Nigeria and the world a better place for all to live in.
