LMAO Matthew 7 V 5 states "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye". Silly man |
Continue the great work. With time your effort will show. BUT is Egypt not close to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, why then did he come back to Nigeria yesterday and travel today. Just my thought. |
As a first class oba in yoruba land, visiting people up and down is wrong. His seat is sacred and he should keep it so. |
Please how effective is your inverter? Mine: a 1.5kva inverter with solar and yet I switch on my generator frequently. I regret buying the solar panel because I see no use of same. gimakon: |
How do we move forward Nigeria? Hope this country isn't cursed with the way things are happening. Hmmm how the one time giant of Africa (Nigeria) lost its value. |
That's the state of our labour market. It's a pity that graduates have to go through inhumane conditions all in the name of work. What is the labour ministry doing about this mess? A country where you have more contract and third party contract staffs. What is NLC doing (corrupt and partisan association)? Where are our labour laws? Where are the activist lawyers to fight this cause? The government isn't the problem, we are our problem. |
Nigerians are never positive. How then do we move forward as a nation |
"Where in the world with a stable power supply, consumers are paying as low as N13($0.065, at official rate of N200) or even N30,for a kilowatt of power". The greatest crap you wrote above. Do we have stable power supply in Nigeria? that's Ignorant of you. I never said I need to see their books before paying my bills, do not assume what I didn't write. I was talking to you and I quote myself to make you understand the crap you wrote. "How sure are you that their pricing leads to negative profit projection? Do you work with them? Have you seen their books?" and "Until I see their books, I don't believe that they aren't making profit or turnover". Revenue is not profit, but you get profit from revenue after separating other cost. I thought you will see the bigger picture that's why I wrote "etc". Yes I expect private entity to open their books to the public as required by law in corporate governance. Go to every corporate entity Website and see their annual report. Agreed tariff? So you think it is wise to force tariff on the masses because this companies are not making enough profit? The reason why I responded is because you think you know it all which is ignorant of you and it will get you nowhere. When in a discus, you argue your points intelligently and pocket your insult (ignorant and crap). Peace be unto you. GoodGovernance: |
Mr good governance you can't know it all that's why people come together in forums to air their views which is also their constitutional right. So please never insult a person for saying his or her opinion on any issue because you never know if your thought is "ignorant" or not. How sure are you that their pricing leads to negative profit projection? Do you work with them? Have you seen their books? Power in every economy is a long term profit making industry that every bank or investor wants to finance. Please give more facts on this. Until I see their books, I don't believe that they aren't making profit or turnover. They also argued that they want to increase their operation and facilities which I think they should run to the banks. Payment of estimated bills and fixed charges should cover gas, transmission, salaries etc. This guy makes billions every month. GoodGovernance: |
Please have feelings. Let's pray he recovers IJN Amen. The man has a family that looks up to him. Ecoterrorism: |
Are you trying to be funny? Wait until they bring such bill to you. boostdom: |
That's a great idea. In corporate governance, companies are required by law to publish reports of their operations, finance, remuneration, risk, audit etc. A lot of companies disregard such laws. Too bad the whole system called Nigeria is not working and the masses pay dearly for that. phlemzy: |
I have complained oooo all I hear is "a certain amount of money is zone to an area or district, so they practically share same across". The building I stay is less than a year old, we have requested for meter even my landlord claims they paid for meter and still nothing. True they bought liabilities from the old NEPA, but did they do proper analysis or projection before accepting same? E.g. What do you want The company purchasing nitel's liabilities to do. The market is open and flooded so they will have to live with it and find a mean to operate and make profit. The government should open the power market and let more players participate then they will understand the true meaning of thinking and competition. blazetitov: |
please what about the (750) fixed charge monthly that amounts to billions of Naira, didn't it settle the gas charges? Or the estimated bills charged to customers for power not consumed which amount into billions. The problem is they want to make more profit. I pay around N20, 000per month for a 2 bedroom apartment with at least 5-6 hours power in 2days (estimated bill). Now please add 45%to that and tell me how visible that is. If they cannot operate they should hands off. The Government should open the market for free entry and see how things will change. blazetitov: |
My brother now add 45% increment to what you are paying. They should give us prepaid meters and source their finance elsewhere. dejiboy: |
you stated that "discos will not do business without making profit" very true but where I have a problem is when a business makes profit the ultimate. Power generation business is a long term profit orientated business, not short term. From fixed charges and estimated bills they made billions of Naira, how did they spend same? Because if they reinvested the billions back into the system the sector would be better or at least improved from the previous state. What about prepaid meters they refused to share? Let them share same before any increment. So customers know they are paying for what they consume. phlemzy: |
Mind your business and face your front. |
"Somebody is playing politics with electricity". I think this is the most stupid and sentimental seeking statement in 2016. How can you buy or startup a business expecting to finance with customer's money? I blame the privatisation process of PHCN, it took awhile before they settled the FG. For almost 2yrs, they charged 750 Naira as fixed charge per month (either you use their product or not). please multiply 750 by 1m people= 750,000,000..... and the greedy people are hoping for a 45% increase in tariff to operate. What about estimated bills? What they do is the company zones a particular amount to an area or district and expect the marketers to distribute charges randomly to their customers. That is why a lot of people receive outrageous bills and they are reluctant to share meter to customers. My advise to them, go to banks and seek loans with a plan on how to service and repay same. Like I always tell Ikeja electricity staffs, "do not forget you are a private company and can be sued. No light equal no finance and Government might revoke ownership". For a week and half no light in my area. please share your experience in your area |
Beware of friends, never get to close to a friend no matter what. You can never know the mind of a person or determine his or her next move. In a dangerous and risky world we live, people envy at the slightest move/thing. Thus, we all need to be careful. “But about three years ago, Oyeolorun allegedly had sexual relation with Ora ’s wife and he was very angry about it" bad, greedy friend. |
I don't blame our president for not paying attention to youwin. It is kind of normal, why? Because oga jona used it as part of his achievement during office and also used same as to campaign. I am not saying it is good but it can happen everywhere in the world. Obamacare is one policy that will be scrapped by a republican if elected as president come 2016. |
Hi, Follow the advise of your mech or yakubu, if you read the manual it clearly states that do not change regularly, and if you have too use ATF toyota fluid. You can get same at a good toyota spare part dealer. It cost about 10,000 to 15,000. |
You never know what you have until you lose same. Also, break up make some ladies aware of their self worth that their ex limited through so called relationship. |
Again? Where did they get the weapons? |
See the type of leaders we voted into power. Tell me how Nigeria will move forward with this type of leaders? |
I am very sure no pdp supporter will see this news. We need to put parties behind us and fight for our interest as citizens of this great nation. Let's stop allowing politicians use our brains, sweat and blood for their selfish interest. Nigeria deserves better and we have the materials but the so called materials are fighting each other for peanut instead of building a political career that will someday change the nation. |
Source But if true I think odetola should be in the box with faruk. Bribery is a crime by both parties. |
Once again the bastard writes back. This will be my last reply to a cyberbully who in real life might not be worth exchanging words with or can't even look me in the eye. So I say may the Lord bless you and restore peace in your life because you need it greatly. ezeigbo194: |
Fayose please keep yourself busy with governance. You are talking too much which is affecting your state's progress in terms of development. Also, why did you redraw staffs 2 months salaries? |
And who is this bastard with no training? If you disagree with my statement argue without insults or else you are the bigger fool. ezeigbo194: |
See how the world and its leaders honour and respect our president, while back home literates, gullible and corrupt citizens disrespect him and call him names. The bible states respect your elders, leaders etc. Romans 13 1-5 states "Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. 4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. 5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience". |
kachikwu is the minister of state in that industry, It is impossible for him to hold 2 offices. So why the fuss about the new appointment. |
