Oh! By funding I mean funding for PhD tho. Securing MSc funding in the US is generally not an easy task. That was why I even tried applying for a PhD.

I think if you retake the GRE you should apply for a PhD program in other schools and you'll be sure to get funded.

Wow congratulations boss! I also applied to IIT too with a similar profile as yours tho, but PhD in Chem Engineering. I'd like to ask if you applied for MSc or PhD. And also when did you apply?

Also IIT is a better school than, SIUC and WVU when it comes to ranking, location and funding opportunities, and job search. And there's really no much difference between IIT and Cincinnati.

You've got a really impressive profile but for your GRE score, I think you should consider giving the GRE another shot then you'll find yourself cruising in. The Quant Score is quite low for UT Austin. These are my thoughts based on admits I've seen on yocket tho.

LOL. Are you even kidding? Trust me man these schools are too low for you. You think it's just the GRE score that gets you in? My friend you got it all wrong. You should be somewhere chilling for your admit, considering the schools you applied to. Unless your SOP and LOR's are not strong enough.

For TOEFL, you have to enter recipients a day before the test. Otherwise, $20 per recipient. Also, your score report will be available to you 10 days after the test.

It's not the best thing to do. Because even if you get your official test scores that day, GRE might not send it to those schools that day. So it'll still be late.

Just received rejection mail from Michigan Tech citing low GP as the reason for the rejection. Though I applied for the spring admission as a litmust test as I av my eyes set on fall admission. I applied for direct PHd civil engineering.
