I can tell there is a block of 10k out of the 222,119 unit traded today.

FO is one of the stock you need to hold a long spoon to eat with the big boys on nse

like I said before the price will be "structurally managed".
There should have been some block trades of the unit rules but was splitted even to about 9950 and 50 units just to keep its #137 price.

How long will it continue?tomorrow will tell

The equity price of GUINNESS NIGERIA PLC was adjusted today 17th of October 2016 for a Dividend of N0.50 as declared by the board of directors. The last close price was N83.00, hence the ex-div price N82.50

sir, the abnormality seems to have been carried over from q2. the q3 seems relatively normal in comparison with q1.

the current market reaction is obviously the first reaction (similar to your quick reaction sir) to the profit for the period.

also do you see that q3 actually had a net finance income of about 350 million?

a buy, a sell for those in it @ a buy price of #160 or a hold?
too early to speak though but in my humble opinion it's not worth more than #100 but the share price is well "structurally managed"

Indeed, the banks are bleeding. No thanks to the harsh TSA policy of the FG. To avert looming financial and economic disaster, the CBN needs to bring back public deposits mopped away under TSA guise to strengthen the system. There is no sense in keeping the funds in JP morgan (yielding benefits to US economy) when our banks are on life-saving machine due to weak deposits. Besides, when the funds are returned it will enable the banks to play their role effectively as growth-engine and economic booster through credit mechanism. Thus, i will suggest the CBN (just like prof SOludo did) allocate at least 5-10% of our reserves to local banks for keep while the rest can be kept offshore.

My take.

CBN needs to do some tweaking like you've said.

bro nothing strange in the report.my only issue is fbnh will hardly go bankrupt but it's possible.

better miss the dividend and capital appreciation than loose your cash.

when the coast isn't clear you either don't commence the journey or retract your step.

only gtb and zenith qualify now.but both are still expensive to me
