One thing is sure: the seller has made profit while the buyer is seeing opportunity to make more cash.
I need to learn o.
how are you sure the seller has made profit?
unless you are the seller.
why don't you think he's trying to cut his lose?

as for the buyer I agree.

someone just sold 20,000,000 units of the said stock @ once

one will definitely be proved right by the market.

ExLaidback:
Guys looking for interim dividends why not go for CONTINSURE. Take position now and avoid the rush later. They are yet to pay 2015 dividend (qualification date is sometime in mid July) and at the current price you may still get a yield of 11.65%. Infact at N1.10k you're still assured of 10.9%. The best yield you can get on any interim dividend anywhere can hardly exceed 5%. Do your DD, but still jump in. grin

Haters will read this post and call it Monkey Hunting angry
but the payment you are referring to is for full year 2015 and not interim dividend by continental reinsurance.

but the yield you posted are right and still attractive @ current market state.

Intendy, I understand. The typical me would have listed a range of brokers just like mercylicious did but because he asked for a "candid" advise, I decided to throw caution to the wind and just gave him the thing straight and mercilessly! grin

Enjoy your Sunday.
wish you same.

thats a long process. cos he might choose adamawa stock brokers going by the link.

@ poster, check morgan capital, investment one, trw-stockbrokers. for the big boys, try renasense capital, stanbic ibtc, meristem etc
sister thats why I said he should come back with his answers after narrowing down.

even you named six firms above and still included etc which means there are more which still goes back to my post above.

so the list is endless.

my oga thanks for this.
but remember what is good for you might not be good for someone else.

I'll suggest he/she filters through this list and narrow it down then come back to ask us questions.
http://nairametrics.com/list-stockbrokers-nigeria/
it might take him a week plus to sort out this but I believe it's worth it.
some still prefer the firm to have presence in their state or close to them (which is not necessary but might have little advantage)

True. I understand fbnh will be having their AGM next week. What r the chances that they may Give interim dividend? If they do, that should push the stock closer to N5.
please take out fbnh interim dividend for now.
its not their priority.

Sir, when it comes to trading next week, one has to exercise some caution. Market might trade sideways until MPC decision is delivered. And the issue of our 2016 Q1 GDP may be taken into consideration. All the best sir!
