Majority in China speaks the same language. You can't compare it with Nigeria with Yoruba, Igbo, and many others. Besides, unlike chinese, ethnic groups in Nigeria has refused to develop their language. China has each words for every part of any human labelled diagram in anatomy, in chemistry, and other Enginerring sciences. But our people here has refused to develop theirs. Not even a standard dictionary we have. What does celebrum, Medulla Oblongata, Sinciputs, Benzene, tetraoxosulphate(vi) acid, or Chloroalkane means in our local language. They wont bother to give it a name! So such an undeveloped and local language should not be encouraged among scholars
