He is very rare I must confess... I mean, am so surprised... In this country? Waohhh....
infact we should create a new word better than "rare" specially dedicated for him. I know him, I must confess, the man is just too good. If Aror had gone to meet him since during the admission process, he might have helped her cos she is currently a medical rehab student at OAU who had come in through Post utme era or pre degree last yr. But she dull herself o.

lalasticlala and seun, I will come and use both of your heads to knock each now because I don't know when it will take you to take my Professor's topic (sounds strange on nairaland) to front page. A professor of medicine for that matter. A high ranked medical doctor's post which is rare on Nairaland.

I am sad that the tenure of Prof Fatusi as the Provost OAU College of health sciences will be expiring Next year. I wish he should Just continue to remain our provost forever. He is such a great man and a man of highly respected and wonderful character. He often say politely and I quote " I am not a politician, when I say I will help, I will help you" He is not a biased man. Very loving, simple and meek. Words only cannot express him, you need to be close to him to feel the cool breeze of his angelic behaviour. Proudly OAU College of health sciences.

The affected student AROR
OGHENERUKEVWE is a current Medical Rehabilitation part one student. I have adviced her to go and see the provost. But I wonder what she has been doing all these while since she is already a student and should know how admission request for supplementary list is been done at OAU instead of waiting all these while. She should have just taken some few steps into the office of the provost or other Prof and request for admission assistance right from the beggining of the admission processing.

Waoh... For the Provost to take his time out to attend to this issue is laudable(such a rare grace) to me and to all the parties that are helping to see that the right thing is done.... Am impressed... Social media has gotten another big up here....
The provost is a very good man. I mean an extremely great and good father in this generation that has influenced many. Words only cannot express how good Prof Adesegun Fatusi is unless you get to know him. Such a humble meek Professor, Medical Doctor and pastor

OP don't worry about the girl. She is happy cos she is currently a part one student of Medical Rehabilitation at OAU. And she have said she will continue with that. Maybe that was why she wasn't serious with this admission of hers. I think with she is liking Med rehab.

o what a shame, I wonder if people like her can't get admission then who can?

why most people here on these forum are saying she should go sit for another jamb.

I want to say how many of you people here on this forum can beat their chest and say that I scored 320 in Jamb in his or her fucking whole goddam life in this forums including the provost , vice chancellor, professors in OAU.

I wonder why we treat such things in our country with so much levity, is because most us of can't make such success that we are hell bent in raining causes on any persons who make such success such success.

I wonder why is it that jamb can't offer admission to some one who can't gets admission in his or her preferred choice to institutions for admission.

If I was in her shoe , I will asks therm to published the names of those offered admission in to that same course with their name, jamb score, states of origin. if they don't, then I kwn is frauds.
shut up! Is she the only one who will be denied admission after scoring high mark. She has to try again. She is not the first to try again. Other people have faced similar challenge too in time past. Besides, this gal is currently a med rehab student in OAU. sHE SHOULD HAVE known about OAU admission processings better.

She is currently in department of medical rehab, part one, OAU, i know her. She was careless with her admission, because i dont know what it would have taken her to take one to two steps into the office of the provost or dean to seek assistance all these while!. Chai seun imagine

Lalasticlala seun, the lady is a part one student of medical rehab at OAU, she might have re sat for the exam with the hope of crossing to medicine.

Schro4real:
This candidate posted her o' level result, from a reputable secondary school. Her umte result also made public. I have personally calculated her points following the provost guidelines and come to the conclusion that she beat the cut off point. As an alumni of o.a.u., I remembered we are known for fairness, justice and activism. So I urge our indefatigable prof and provost to please offer this girl her admission. Sir I know your hands are tight because of of the limited quota for medicine dept unlike during our days when you can admit up to 250 candidates, but do justice. Injury to one is injury to all
the lady is currently a part one student of OAU in medical rehab, she never processed her admission eventhough she is close by to prof and others that would have assisted her.

BEWARE. IT IS SNAKE SEASON!!!!

DUE TO THE HEATWAVE AND HIGH TEMPERATURES, SNAKES, ESPECIALLY COBRAS, SEEK REFUGE IN COOLER PLACES LIKE INSIDE YOUR HOME.

SAFETY TIPS

1.Avoid leaving windows open for too long. Cobras and Mambas can reach heights that are very high.

2. Avoid leaving your front doors open for fresh air in the evenings. This reptiles are absolutely STEALTHY (too quiet). You won't hear or see them go inside your house.

3 Before sitting under the tree that has that cooling shade, check the branches that there are no snakes lurking in the branches.

4.Check your bed and surrounding before you go to bed, cobras are notorious for hiding under the sheets.

5.Avoid the age old trend of liking to chill outside of the house, with mattresses and wrappers in the evening. Most reptiles are nocturnal (hunt at night and more effective)

6.Not only snakes might bite you, but also the age old human enemy; the centipede (Mosithaphala), which is fast and very venomous.

7.Clear bushes round your house. They attract rats and mice which are the favourite snacks of the most dangerous snakes favorite meal.

8.Buy snake repellent powder and pour it round your yard. You will definitely decrease the chances of a snake ever visiting your home by 90%.

Beware of confronting snakes that get into your homes. Some snakes can be killed easily, others like the black mamba are very cocky. If threatened,  they will chase you at an alarming speed and give multiple bites while still on the chase; and you might not live to see the next forty minutes. So, just be very careful when trying to kill these guys.

Stay well and be safe. It's snake season. It's very hot and they are highly active and get agitated and angry very fast.

This is for your information and safety‎

Good evening
