The problem is that these school leavers no longer read, they see the university as a way of getting away from their parents and having their freedoms. In OAU students are advised to seek admission assistance free of charge in an allocated office. All you need is a reference or letter of consideration to be submitted. You have to follow a protocol or lay down rule if you didn't meet the cut off mark. If you are too big to do that or fool of yourself or weren't aware.It rarely showed how unserious and immature you are in the admission you are seeking.

I now get it, maybe you are a lecturer or related to one. Lecturers have been using admission racket to extort serious money from parents and sex from female candidates.

aren't you aware that there are so many people that scored similar score as her or close to her vying for a limited space?. How do you expect all to be admitted? How are you sure it is fake malpractice result they use?. You can only apply for a supplementary list anywhere in the world you cant be given. As a result you follow the school protocol of how it is being done there. In OAU you need someone like a "referee" that will be able to stand by you to proof to the school that you are indeed capable of been a student of that school eventhough you score below the cut off mark. Just like you need a lawyer in the court of law or a reference letter from someone eles e.g your pastor during a Job interview. In the same way you need a referee.This will give you upper hand than others sleeping at home during admission process. We do not only text you how high your fake result is, we test your sincerity, maturity, and the passion you have for that course. A written exam is just one in many ways a man is being tested into an institution. Eat an humble pie man. If you are not humble in this world and you are seeking for merit in this world it may be had for you to suceed in life.

That aside, the only thing the coordinator did was surprised the candidates, he changed the pattern and there were little or no past questions repeated and this really work, it didn't turn out well for the lazy candidates who are in the habit of just 'cramming' past questions without reading their class notes.
Science is meant to be read, understand and applied, it's not about 'cramming ' PQ and going into the exam all to shade like a zombie.,something similar to this also happened to those who took BOT101, that instead of the expected MCQ, they were met with short structured questions and fill-in the gaps.
Lastly, you bringing it to the Social Media is ridiculous, according to the coordinator, the result was approved by the Senate before releasing it, no form of injustice had been done, just a set of lazy students that has been caught unaware. If you like call lalasticlala or Linda ikeji from now till next year, it won't change anything. Only God can intervene and only the students can help themselves.

You are just been ignorant. If you want to seek admission you need humility. You are free to approach any lecturers or professor on campus seeking help base on geniune reason. A lot of people are not aware of this and havw missed it greatly. Why won't they give it to their children when average Nigerians don't show up or seek help.

Of course you should know that. OAU students are not that dull. These students enter through the acidic OAU post utme. If it were to be this current JAMBITE I might not even have posted it on their behalf. Reason why the PHY105 should be questioned 1) There is mass failure unlike in previoud exam where physics used to be the simplest 2) It started when MR Bashiru, the current coordinator took over last session's second semester 3) Students have no issue with other courses except PHY105 wjich is unusual 4) Brilliant students managed to have "C" while those passed admitted to have guessed most of the answers since it is in OBJ

How can many people fail a course in such a grievous manner. This people entered through Post utme oooo and maybe predegree. If it were to be during this Jamb screening stuff we wld have given it another meaning. A current "C" in phy105 is equivalent to 80A or 90A in time past before this Mr Bashiru took over. Lalasticlala and Seun kindly help this kids o. The man has spoilt their life. I doubt if a First class will be recorded in this current part one students that took this course. Those that passed the course confessed to have done so by guessing the answer as the questions were allien and strange.

Physics 105 is physics for biological students like Medicine, nursing microbiology and other biologically oriented course. While PHY101 are for physical sciences and Engineering students. PHY105 used to be the simplest until a new coodinator took over last session in 2nd semster. The questions were so tough that those that managed to passed said they did so by guessing the answer since the questions are in OBJ format. Their calculator must have been turned to OLODO on that day

This result was said said to be tough that brilliant and genius were praying for a "D".

# COPIED -- MASS FAILURE RECORDED IN PHY105 BY THE SAME CORDINATOR THAT CAUSED WOEFUL RESULT IN LAST SET PHY106. Physics used to be the cheapest until this new cordinator took over and change everything bringing new questions from "another planet" Phy 105 result It is so sardonic that the just concluded phy 105 result was woeful, one couldn't have imagine such a thing compared to the results of the previous years, The question is that, Is the phy 105 changing, is the mechanics change, is the newton law changed? Or probably the set of student we have now are dull? I can remember vividly after the test result were released lots of them were overwhelmed with fear and they were hopeful for the exam to be better, at the end of the day, the exam looks more tougher such that most of them want to just get above 40. Going back to the Memory lane, It was thesame man that coordinated the phy 106 result for 2014/2015 session that also coordinated the just concluded physics, the result then was also very worst, one could categorically says that, success in a particular course depends on the coordinator. It's unfortunate that corruption has become our way of life, submissions are only possible in a society were no strings are attached or less strings are attached.
Set up an audit panel to investigate that admission process, you would be definitely amazed at its findings.
If have gone to our law courts on corruption cases, you will see "American wonder". So brother take the provost submission with a pinch of salt.
If go schools handouts are prohibited, do you know what lecturers do? They ask the printer to bind the handouts and call them books.

let me tell you man. Supplementary list is important. What if if this girl wrote another JAMB next yr and score a lower mark due to error or one thing or the other. Will you now tell me she no longer deserves medicine? No! Her commitment alone and her previous sad experience she faced before should make any professor to assist her to enter. That is one importance of supplementary list. It is for special people who score much lower than the cut off marks but were assisted based on their previous Jamb experience eg wrote JAMB 6 times without making it despite scoring 200 and above and so many other various convincing reason like passion for the course, behaviour etc. It is not only about book oooo.

. Never! Admission can never be based on Merit anywhere in the world. Exam is not a true test of knowledge. There are other factors that must be considered. Fir instance, JAMB markings was very faulty this year for some candidate while on the other hand some other candidates were not affected at all. The affected ones scored low mark while others scored over 300. Such affected person need assistance for supplementary listen. Likewise m, some did jamb about 4 to 6 times without admission. Such ones cld also seek assistance via supplementary list. Examination malpractice and other factors cld cause some candidate marks very high which is actually fake.

Reminds me of that one school that couldn't give physical and concrete proof of how someone with 181 got medicine... lemme not stir still waters

that 181 medicine candidate was said to be a pre degree student. She entered through pre degree and not jamb screening. There was a lot of error in this year Jamb as some candidates in some days were marked low by Jamb due to wrong marking. Some day were added extra mark while some had computer and server hitches in their centre. So a 300 candidate this year may not be better that someone who scored 200. It is just a luck and random thing this year
