If Christ wasn't crucified then tell us from extra biblical books and history who was crucified. If Christ was not crucified then you make him a liar because he himself said he would be crucified and killed but he would rise again on the third day. But since you agree that Jesus Christ was without sin as lies is a sin, then you contradict yourself by calling him a liar. It is the concocted book that deceived you about the crucifixion of Christ and that story that Jesus was not crucified was a copy of a fictitious Gospel of Barnabas which is a rejected book. Quran went and copied this denial of Jesus crucifixion verbatim and claimed it was revealed to them. How can a copied rejected lies by a revelation? You better believe Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life or follower the liar and of course, you know where the liars will end BAILMONEY: |
Those who say that Obi was incompetent should answer how an incompetent governor was able to take his state from 48 position in WAEC to first position for several years. How incompetent was he that he was able to leave money for the incoming government, which his successor openly acknowledged. He might have been very incompetent that his state was given an award of excellence by WHO. The only reason people, his Igbo brothers hate him and say all manners of evil against him is because he didn't allow them steal and he didn't steal. All those saying evil against this man are doing so because the evil people cannot speak well of a man who is not like them. If he had stolen and shared money to some power brokers, he would have been a hero but since he chose not to be a typical Nigerian then he's a villain. I am not an Igbo man but the problem with some of us Nigerians is pulling down good people, our people and sadly this pulling down is common in every sub nationality in Nigeria perhaps worse with the Igbos. I searched this out cos I wanted to know others' opinion on whether nurses are promiscuous. I believe nursing students are highly promiscuous and I am saying so from my experience as a medical doctor. When I was a medical student, I noticed that nursing students were sleeping around, they could go to anywhere and many of them had multiple sexual partners. I had a couple of friends who slept with many of them and then would gossipped about what they did. I have no similar experience with professional nurses, many of whom are married. However, those professionals, the single ladies, were promiscuous, not all of them though. This makes me wonder why nursing students are promiscuous, whether there's a spirit of immorality behind the establishment of nursing profession I am yet to know. A private hospital I work has a nursing school and almost all the students either had been pregnant at one time and aborted or would be pregnant and abort. Only one percent of these students are not promiscuous, I mean where I am and it concerns me a lot. There is one particular nursing student that I used to think was a born again Christian and Iused to give kudos to her. One day she came to me and told me she was pregnant and wanted abortion. I was shocked. Well, I told her I am against her wish and counselled her to keep but she went somewhere and secured abortion and after some weeks returned to her studies. Sometimes, girls I would not even think would know anything, would surprised me when they say they're pregnant. I don't think that this tendency of nursing students being promiscuous goes away after graduation or it can't continue when they become professionals, especially the singles. |
Another 4 years of hunger and deprivation in Kogi state. Kudos to Mr Bello who doesn't have human feelings about the suffering of people in Kofi state. The big eye is watching. God will render every man according to his work and it is not the day that a rat eats the herbalist's bag that its jaws swell up. A man shall reap whatever he sows. There is God and he is watching in Kogi and Nigeria in general |
I've gone through many replies to the question and ve seen that nobody has proven from the bible that it's wrong to marry ones cousin. No, it's not wrong biblically to marry ur cousin but traditionally it's wrong. But you can decide whose instruction you follow, whether God's or ur village or town's traditions. Biblically the following sexual relationship is prohited by God, anyone not listed are man made: Leviticus 18:7-19 1. Father 2. Mother 3. Stepmother 4. Stepsister(paternal) 5. Stepsister(maternal) 6. Granddaughter(son's) 7. Granddaughter(daughter's) 8. Father's wife's daughter i.e a girl whose mother is married to ur father.stepsister by virtue of marriage. 9. Father's sister 10. Mother's sister 11. Uncle's wife 12. Daughter in-law 13. Brother's wife 14. A woman and her daughter 15. A woman and her granddaughter (son's) 16. A woman and granddaughter(daughter's) 17. A woman and her sister 18. Neighbour's wife. From this list there's no prohition of cousin's, niece's marriage. The only justifications to prohibition of cousin's marriage is the high risk of inheritable diseases proofable by the law of inheritance by Gregor Mendel. The closer the partners are the greater the risk involved. My advice is that if u will be able to stand the ridicule that would follow u, and both parents ve consentd,go for it. But remember you shd nt start what u would be ashamed of tomorrow. If you bold and marry your cousin, who knows, you might be winning a battle against traditions of men that ve been preventing people from marrying their spouses simply because such spouses are cousins, and such laws might be revisited. In my village members of the same lineage dn't marry even though they are nt genuinely cousins but because great great, great grand parent were related, marriage even to 20th generations is forbidden. But guess what? These people engage in intimate relations, some of which result in pregnancy and when this happens, the boy would fined a goat, drinks etc for impregnanting 'a family member'. The problem is that this people have prevented their children from marrying lawfully and the consequence has always been unwanted pregnancy or abortion. Who should be blamed, the children or the parents? I think the parents because their tradition isn't biblically justified. That I am not marrying my cousin isn't biblical or tradition, it's simply because I have chosen not to. But before God made law against marriage between near kins, Abraham married to her half sister, Sarah. And after God had made the law, Isaac married to his paternal cousin while Jacob married to two of his maternal cousins, Lear and Rachael(though he didnt intend to marry lear bt was swimdled by his uncle Laban). So in all these marriages we don't see God having anything against such marriages. Therefore to marry your cousin is moral and biblically sound but to have sex with ur cousin whom you've not married is just like having sex with any other person God's law has not frown at i.e fornication |

I have a female friend of over 15 years and both of us are religious, so we don't talk about sex as I had told her that only in marriage can that be done. But recently, she admitted of wanting to have sex which am not at home with. But I love this girl and want to marry her. How can I say no and not hurt her, I don't want to have sex with her before marriage and don't want to loose her to a man who she might find and is ready to have sex with her. Your honest contribution is very important. |

Yes, O'level validity for entry into university used to be 10years. May be it has been reduced to 4 years now. But I was admitted in 2007/2008 session UNIUYO with 2000 O'level. I dnt know if they are still accepting now. However, I will post my findings from the University here. |
With ASUU strike called off today, is this the end of strike in Nigerian Universities, has ASUU got all their demands so that they will never ever go on strike again? If ASUU has called off the strike on sympathy to the FG but not on their trust to the ability of government to implement their demands, then the strike was a mere waste of time and a provocation of academic activities and a prolongation of academic years of students. I hope no more strike. |
The bible says that if as a believer u re invited by an unbeliever to a dinner and meat is offered u, receive with prayer and thanksgiving and eat it for the earth is the Lord's n the fulness thereof. But if sb tells u while at the table that the meat was offered to idol, don't eat for d sake of him that told u n for his consciense.if a Chinese gave u food receive with prayer n thanks to God. Ur prayer sanctifies the food.but if u ve doubt don't eat 4 anythg u do that doesn't come by faith is sin.1COR8. God bless u. |
Well, nobody has answered the question of all the contribution made. The answer should be either yes or no and should be based on facts not on sentiment. For instance there is neurologically proven record health wise that states a fifty year old brain is not as good if not better than that of a 20yr old, otherwise people would be retiring before 50 if intellectual productivity were to be judged by age. I even believe that older students perform better if they don't allow distractions to take the better part of them. My sister-inlaw was admitted at above 30 into s.o.n, after graduating here in nigeria, though she wasn't in nigeria and fully married with a kid to my bro, yet she wasn't inferior to the white brainwise and today she's happily practising as a nurse. Suppose it was nigeria and with age and her statue, she wouldn't ve that chance. Why? Age and bla bla bla. Nigeria is short of nurses,go to general and teaching hospitals n see things for ursef. If america can have private s.o.n and places no age limit to prospective students, are we better than they. Government shd do away with age limit or allow it to 30. S.o.n is just 3to 4yrs in nig but 5-6yrs at universities, does it mean that if one is admitted at 30 to study nursing at university that when he/she is through at 35 the brain is no more? If we want good nursing personnel density advocated as at least 10 patients to 1 nurse in nig(usa 1:1), then age limit shd be raised at our s.o.n. |
In Nigeria we have a sizable number of private universities, polytechnics, COE etc but the same might not be true of school of nursing. In an economy as diversed as Nigeria, wouldn't it make sense for school of nursing to be dergulated to provide options to Nigerians who may not afford government owned schools of nursing? Or why should age be a barrier to someone who wants to study nursing in school of nursing whereas the case is not so for medical students in public universities? Does it mean at 25, which is age limit of being admitted into nigerian schools of nursing, ones brain is no longer active or is it that the youths can do better than adults brainwise 25 below? I'm just wondering why this age limit and hope some answers could be found from you reading this post. |
