Stop spilling nonsense; you must not dragged the FG into the mess of a greedy Igbo man. The next thing now na to start playing the annoying victim card.

FYI, Emeka Offor was fighting Geometric because he had the license to supply power to the SE region. This is a man whose EEDC cannot guarantee 10-hour power supply to the entire region.

Even after Fashola, as minister of power, came to broker peace between them, a greedy Emeka Offor wouldn't accept the peace pact. Thank God that the licenses of all the useless Discos have expired.

Emeka offor had FG connections /backing to fight Geometric.
We all know it's cos he owns eedc, stop telling me what I know.
The one thing that helped are Otti and the expiry of licenses

The way u SEners value is not same way we value and worship money.
My family has 20/24 hours electricity from national grid, it's not a sign of riches rather I am telling u that u saying u have 1 hour light in 1 week is a Iie unless u Iive in a cave.

Oga, Geometric Energy will source gas from Shell gas facility in Abia State for generating, transmitting and distributing power across Aba and its environs.

By the way, what stalled the power company wasn't the federal government. It was Emeka Offor's EEDC that refused to let them operate because they have the license to cover the whole of South East as their catchment area.

Lastly, power has been moved from the exclusive list to the concurrent list. In fact, the licenses of these Discos have already expired. Stop the blame game already. State governments can now issue serious energy companies licenses to generate, transmit and distribute power in their states. The only challenge is that such business is capital intensive.

Emeka offor was backed by the FG to fight geometric before

Aba people should pay their power bills because electricity is not cheap. Most of us clamour for 24/7 power supply but we don't even know that we cannot afford it.

Geometric should supply its own meter and have a system for tracking power supply and bills because you cannot stop a Nigerian from bypassing their meter, especially when power supply is steady. If you refuse to pay your power bill, you will run Geometric out of business.

BTW, other states with gas should also emulate Geometric Energy. We should gradually end this national grid nonsense. Every state should start generating, transmitting and distributing power.

By the way, I can never supply power to residents if I own a power company. Instead, I will focus on companies and offices.

You are really delusional lol

Commerce no data to back that up all noise and empty talk

Indigenous industries anywhere in the East is not even close to Indigenous industries in Oyo, Ogun not to even talk about Lagos state. It is just propaganda without any verifiable data you guys conjure when you see you can't match south west in industrialization.

Igbo transportation companies that transport mostly Igbo that can't stay in their region doesn't mean you dominate transportation in Nigeria, Yoruba transportation is mostly individual run and Yoruba control all transport across south west in fact you will even see Yoruba drivers in other regions even NURTW the national body for transport workers in Nigeria Yoruba have more influence, you think MC Oluomo would have so much influence in Lagos if the transport sector is dominated by Igbo ?. So how do you dominate? just pure fantasy in your head? is like you don't even know what domination mean, most of those Igbo transportation companies that operate in the East wouldn't even survive in south west.

As for Airline how many Igbo own Airlines in Nigeria apart from Allen Onyema? there are also Hausa, Yoruba Airlines in the sector just because Airpeace make the most noise doesn't mean you dominate. Now if most airlines in Nigeria are own by Igbo you can say you dominate.

You are very delusional if you really want to claim domination in ICT lol what do you even want to back it with ? Yoruba have been dominating ICT in Nigeria for several years even the recent most Influential women in ICT in Nigeria list is dominated by Yoruba women not to even talk of major Nigerian Fintech and Start ups own by Yoruba.

Two University from South west made it to the rank of 1000 best universities in Africa and the world recently and institutions in South west have been consistently making it for years none from your region that claim dominion in education make the list, is that not even clowning ? mind you there are a lot of universities in the north, south south and south east both public and private but only the ones from the south west made the list but you want to claim domination in education through what lol? In fact if you check NUC or what's their abbreviation website, Yoruba have more professors than any region in Nigeria.

If you want to talk about Health sector, is it more doctors and nurses you would say you have more than Yoruba that make you make such stupid claim?

Which Health center, Hospitals or Institutions in the East can match those in Lagos, Oyo or even Ogun.

Transportation business is almost solely an Igbo business , all over the nation. The beneficiaries are people from every region.
Most interstate transport is owned by Igbos
Which Yoruba ? You must be talking about rickety taxis that carry four people max within your shanty towns . How many are in the league of ABC, GUO, GIG, etc?
Mu.mu
Aside airpeace, there is united Nigeria . These are the only two serious airlines in Nigeria. Next is Ibom air.
Yoruba mismanaged arik and the other one.
Max air is a goner.

Leave transport business for Igbos .

Educational stats and literacy rates na Igbos .

We lead in everything

Anambra has far more indigenous industries than elsewhere

Politics / Re: The People Of South East Don't Wish Benue People Well by InyinyaAgbaOku(m): 11:20am On Feb 19
Fineman2:
I really don't like creating threads that will cause unnecessary fight but I've carefully studied and monitored events in Benue for some time.

What baffles me the most sometimes is the negative comments from some Igbos saying Benue people are reaping what they planted during the civil war because they helped the Nigerian government, it is one nonsense story almost every Igbo person knows.

Firstly, During the Biafra war, Benue and the entire middle belt was under the control of the Nigerian government with military administrators fully in charge, so how do you expect Benue people serving in the army not to fight with the central government.

Secondly, did ojukwo consult Benue people before going into war? Did he mention Benue as part of Biafra during his speech?

Thirdly, why are they so fixated on Benue than the rest of the middle belt?

Lastly, Is General Yakubu Gowon from Benue state? The man that fought against you

The lack of humanity in these people is truly horrifying, the same way they are supporting the massacre of innocent Palestinians in Gaza but they are always quick to report Nigerian military to ICC for trying to weed out IPOB.

During the last election, Benue, plateau and several states in the middle belt supported Mr Obi and the labour party including my family and myself, in Benue APC won with a difference of just 2k votes, maybe through rigging with the help of Akume the current SGF.

We could've supported Tinubu or Atiku, but we didn't because we believe in Obi more than the rest of the candidates.

My Igbos brothers should get that nonsense story off their heads and stop creating more enemies for themselves, you can't be fighting every other tribe and region and then expect them to support you during elections.

They must learn how to build bridges of love.

IPOB has killed more people in south east than Fulani herdsmen in Benue, it's either they sympathize with Benue people or they keep their mouths shut and avoid such threads completely.

For Benue people, I think they should stop supporting south east thinking they are brothers, they should just remain neutral and stick to middle belt region.

We pray for good leaders that will do things right and change the minds of our people, not tribalistic leaders.

Once again, there's freedom of expression in our constitution, so nobody should get mad at me for speaking my mind.

I also expect them to report this thread, but my message would have been passed by then.

Please leave Benue people alone.

Idiots
You left those attacking you to vent on Igbos.
Why didn't Fulani people just mock you instead of leaving you wifeless, husbandless, childless, dispossessed of properties and then IDP campage.

Your house is on fire , fire that was set by others but you cowards are chasing rats .

Afonjaa, let me advise you, Ibibio and Efik are not Riverine people, they are in the SE, faraway from the deltas or major waters. You don't even know simple Nigerian map of Igbos states situated between riverine states and Akwa-Cross. SMH

The problem with you divisive people is you don't travel, don't know people, you just sit in your mud house and concoct nonsense. Can you differentiate between Igbos, Ibibio and Efik by look? You cannot because they are one people and look alike like siblings. But we can differentiate between Easterners and Yorubaa because we are not the same people and don't look alike. Yorubas look more like Beniniose, Togelese and South Sudanese people. We don't look like that and stop attaching yourself to us. I'm telling you all these to stop wasting your tome dividing us and creating fake Facebook profile of an invisible Ibibio person to stoke division between Igbos and Ibibio.

Even Ibibio people know you Yorubaa very well, how Adenkunle aka Black Scorpion massacred Ibibio young men during the war. When asked why, he said we know they are the same people as Igbos.

How many ibibios will make this post the way you made it.
How can you be proud of associating with ibibios than your fellow Igbos , bikonu?
Have ibibios ever come to Igbo aid in all their existential struggles ?
Same thing with Biafra . Instead of agitating for a homogenous Igbo nation, you are looking for liabilities that are not emotionally invested in the issue. Tomorrow, they will be making demands on you for a lot of things expecting to be pampered or else they pull out.
You have to develop self respect and stop dragging Igbo people backwards with this reasoning.

As far as no Ibibio person would make this type of post, respect yourself too.
This is a thread from a Facebook post where Ibibio are attacking Igbos and you are here claiming relationship. Smh

Ibibios, please do not fall for this. The people from the West have started their divide and conquer again sensing the strong bond between SE and SS now. Most of the posters here using popular Ibiobio words like Ayaya unnecessarily and Google translate are impostors from the west, in their typical divide and rule fashion.

These people from the West do not understand how related Igbos and Ibibios are, they don't even know Abiriba people are more related to Ibibios than Igbos. They don't know they are native Igbo/Ika living in Akwa Ibom. They don't even know Aba and Ikot Ekpene are border towns with people living across for hundreds of years and speaking each other languages.

Understand these appointments were made by Akpabio himself after he took office as senate president. This has nothing to do with Igbos but Akpabio. Same way GEJ and Obasanjo for whatever reasons, felt comfortable surrounding themselves with Igbos, than their own people.

Ibibios, keep in mind SE senate president candidates like Orji Uzor Kalu, Umahi and Ifeanyi Ubah later step down to support Akpabio as their brother and inlaw. They did this because of the bond between SE and SS, like they supported GEJ.

As stated already Akpabio made these appointments himself in June 2023 below few days after he was elected. If Ibibios want these positions, please go to Akpabio and ask him to change all of them to Ibibios, Igbos don't care, has nothing to do with Igbos. Don't allow people from the West to cause unnecessary division between you and Igbos. This is a none issue but Akpabio decisions.

Akpabio appoints Aides June 2023. One of the appointments has Igbo name but actually from Akwa Ibom. The Deputy Chief of Staff, Saviour Enyiekere(PhD) hails from Ika Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

African store dealers are the most greedy people you will ever come across.
Yet , they aren't richer than their Asian counterparts.

Go to an Asian store, you will still see African raw foods , yet they will be cheaper.
Asian stores have your ogiri, yams , garri , egwusi, etc but they sell these foods twice cheaper than your African stores

That's the same thing that applies to African restaurants abroad.
African dealers make eating African food abroad a luxury whereas it's easier for Asians to preserve their cultural eating habits cos the foods are cheap for them
