Like I said, I was just excited to hear something that wasn't Wazobia.

One Ijaw guy in the post that they were complaining, said that they have an Ijaw movie in the works with actual Ijaw people speaking the language. I don't think the movie will blow sha, because there are certain elements involved in movie marketing that I'm very certain they may most likely not tick.


Either way, Ijaw people are at liberty to express disappointment if they're not satisfied with the representation. You too would be miffed if you watched an Igbo movie with dodgy Igbo, only to learn most of the actors are Ibibio.

They can express their reservations, but I still think the movie is really good and does what it needs to as regards exposing a minority language to the world.
