Why should they be disappointed? That means they don't know the level of achievement their own language has. The Yoruba has more international recognition than any other Nigeria language. It is being taught in universities in the US. So there is no reason why Yorubas should be jealous with his choice most likely influenced by his mum who doesn't like him speaking Yoruba.
