Good Afternoon Gents
Please help me solve this equation.
Some two Months Ago my engine was smoking, and my mech told me that the engine is gone so i paid out cash to him to get a tokunbo Engine, which he fixed and then i went driving once more.
Ever since that engine was fixed its one wahala to another until finally the car left me @ 3rd Mainland Bridge and i was able to get it towed to my mechs workshop.
On diagnosis it was discovered that the new Engine was smoking and he declared it Knocked(2 months old Engine)
From no where he came up with a scam that exhaust catalyst was blocked and that was knocked the first engine and then the second. Right in front of me he cut the exhaust and behold the catalyst was blocked.
Gents please help me judge this matter:
1 Could it be he sold a scam engine to me
2 or could it be his theory of blocked pot was responsible for the engine damage?

Just got this ML320 and after respraying the part that got some scratches when moving it out from the container, my mechanic just called me complaining about the vehicle overheating and the need to remove the thermostat and connect the fan directly. I still feel there is need to leave the thermostat in the vehicle, kindly advice on what decision to take because I don't want to regret using this vehicle once registered.
Also where can I get its original brake pads (and for how much) because I felt the pads are near to being metals.
Gurus in the house please help a brother....  . . . what needs to be 'removed' here is your mechanic and not the thermostat. Find a competent mechanic who will check if you have bubble in your engine coolant or should provide you with proper diagnosis as to the engine overheat.

Upper week, i explained how UBA charge me 252.5 to a dollar back in July, on that transaction, of 210 usd i lost like #11,500. I didn't even bother to call them, i just reason with d explanation they will give me if i complain to them, but after coming here and reading about u guys views and how the charges really were, i gave them a call and tgey start sprutting in tongues, didn't even bother, i just asked to be transfered to a team leader or a supervisor. The supervisor said same story, but she must have sensed that i understand what i was talking about and the treat to be real. They gave me a call back and asked me to send the message i got from PayPal , which i did. After 2 days, i didn't get any contact from them, i decided to call back, but the supervisors and team leader were in a meeting, so the agent asked if he can call me back wen they are through. To cut d storey short, i didn't get a call back for more 10 hours, but what i got back was an alert, of my whole money refunded to me in full, not even 1 kobo deducted. After, i got a call from one of their supervisor, to confirm if all is now in order.
While this was going on, i took note of some things,
(1) The junior staffs knows very little about these, always ask to be transfer to a supervisor if available,
(2) Stand on ur ground and know all dates and figures of ur transaction
(3) If one agent told u he/she cant help u, always call back
(4) And always ask of the names of the people u speak with, and write it down.
From these now, i have contact to 2 of their supervisor, a lady and a guy.
In fact, after getting text alert, and they called me after then, i told them to call me back later that am busy. Of course the did. So, thank u guys a lot, i join nairaland just a few month back and i already can see d benefit.

Don't report him! You will be surprised those people may not keep your identity very anonymous and therefore expose you to danger, or part of the people in authority are in cahoot with him and his gang. Why did you think he wanted to work his certificate through, if he doesn't have someone in authority to help?
I think your parents should still be your last option, if all else fail. Have a serious meeting with them, tell them the dangers of living with him, tell them that they will expose you to more danger if they should tell his parents, (exaggerate it) that your best option is to move out of the apartment.
You will see the speed by which they will get the money even if it is to borrow it. And I don't think any parent will still go ahead to tell the guy's parents, despite telling them the danger they might expose you to.
Apart from the troubles it might land you, if the school authorities found out you are harbouring an expelled student. You risk being attacked by rival gang, who will think you are part of his gang. Living and moving with a culltist is risky.

etc Recommended engine oil should be 5w-20, you can contact luvinhubby for that. And as regards the 'check engine', you should get the car scanned and post the fault code displayed. |
