Spot on! These are important things that should be put into consideration.. The moment you turn a blind eye to red flags during dating/courtship, it may be disastrous.. Oftentimes we say "I don't like what I hate" but you see love ehn, e be like black magic.. If you haven't experienced love, genuine love for someone, sorry you no go fit understand, forget hard guy hard geh, we've all been there done that.. Anyways, if there are some attributes you do not like in your significant other and your inner self is telling you "when we both get married likdis, I'm sure he/she will change" oshey lifechanger, shorii lemme jus tell you, oyo lo wa..

Marriage isn't something you rush into anyhow, there's a saying that if you rush into something, that's the same way you will rush out of it sooo make sure you know what you're getting into, not because all your friends are getting married orrr pressure from mumsy & other relatives, las las if anything sup, na only you go face am head-on.. Do not forget to seek God's face, for those who believe in Him. Shalom!
The moment you two have a child, it gets worse because decisions are no longer based on what is good for either of you. That's when many people decide to settle even if love has died longtime ago

And you think they will come here and tell you the truth. Lol
In my own opinion. There's no Dream man/woman anywhere. Once you made up your mind to say I do, work on it and turn that person to your to your dream man/woman (fantasy)
I was expecting truth from newly created monikers lol

I beg to differ, there's a certain kind of man you meet who hits all the right notes and speaks your love languages without you ever revealing what your love languages are to him.

Then he's feeling you too the way you are feeling him. cheesy I'm smiling just thinking about him and he's not in my dreams he's a real live person I've met already.

Abeg die this your yarn joor!!
Its possible. Has it been up to 5 years since you met him?

This is that thread where people will be using or creating alternative monikers to give honest answers, lol.

Some ladies don't keep a good hygiene though. They take care of their faces, hair and clothing but not what's inside. That's probably what OP experienced. The generalization makes it odd though, as if he has issues himself

FamilyRe: My Opinion About The Viral "Calm Down" Video, What Is Yours? by iod69779: 4:57pm On Jul 30, 2020
DanoskiDaniels:
I have my reservations about this viral "Mommy Calm Down Video" first I don't find it funny nor interesting (but that's my personal opinion). As you are aware, the boy in the video is already getting endorsements and scholarship from both individuals and top brands alike and even the Governor of Lagos State wants to meet with the boy and this of course is always the expected result of anything viral that is seen exceptional by members of the social media community, however I'm only wondering why a parent would decide to punish a child and make a video of it to post in the social media, I mean what is actually the true motive of it? Is it to correct the child or to gain cheap popularity? In as much as there have been an open widow opportunity resulting from its publicity, I am still of the opinion that this act doesn't show maturity as it is not everything that should come to the public space except it is utterly necessary. As this has now become a trend now, just watch as many parent would in the following weeks, be flooding the social media with different versions of their own well scripted melodramas in other to cash out too from the already awaiting pseudo good hearted Nigerians who will also be showing concern for the cameras too. But anyways having said that, it is still my opinion, I mean, what do I know?
Has your sibling or relative made a video of their kids and shared with you for fun? That's how such videos find their way to social media. She didn't have to share it on social media herself
CareerRe: I Earn Over 300K Monthly... But I Don't Love My Job by iod69779: 6:44pm On Jul 28, 2020

it's stressful, exhausting...not what I really love/want to be doing

My boss dosent like me...I can perceive my colleague see me as incompetent hence I don't have their respect

But then it pay this bills...that's the only motivation for me

I feel it shouldn't be that way...it should be more than money

I want to resign...

Just thinking out loud
I was in your shoes, I helped the company build its revenue base but it was a toxic environment where i did not feel job safety, great staff but very high turnover. The problem was the boss not the staff. I left, but i saved money that will keep me going over 1 year even if i didn't get another job. My case may be different from yours because i am in the US but one advise i will give you especially if you're in Nigeria is, look for another job before you leave, employers consider people who already are working somewhere. Hire a professional to write your resume so you can highlight your achievements on your current job.

Why is this funny to me. You are coming from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration and you are worried? Its us who should be worried.
People can get tested before they travel and they usually isolate when they arrive the other end.

Nigeria is even more safer than USA for now
I'm not comparing both countries, just asking about what one who visits the country should expect in terms of safety, like what happens if the person gets sick in Nigeria

I am also interested in visiting Nigeria this summer. My only concern is the 14 days quarantine stuff. If I am quarantined for 14 days, how many days do I have to stay again grin grin. That sucks and I am not willing to submit my passport to anybody. Does anyone know if the 14 days quarantine is still going to hold??
True. Didn't think about those

You're actually right. Going back might become an issue if planes aren't flying. Nobody knows when this pandemic is going to be over

I had planned to visit Nigeria and other countries from the US this summer on a short vacation, maybe for a few weeks or so, but the pandemic struck! Europe is out of the question for now, but somehow Nigeria is still on my mind. Just pondering. What do you guys think?

Think9ja:
I will personally lead the protest against a policy like this once they bring it up in the national assembly.

Is it the same Nigeria where we have one man marrying fifty women or where?
Is it the same Nigeria that will pollute the list with useless aboki people or where? How do you want to go about implementating something like this?

I know of people who add wife each time they get promoted or get paid a huge amount like six months arrears.

Bring this policy up in this country and watch how people abuse it. Politicians will then use it to loot billions.

Blacks are a useless breed of people. We can't rule themselves. No black nation deserve independence.
To respond to your concerns,

financial benefits doesn't mean government gives you free money, it means they reduce the amount of money they deduct from your tax as a way of encouraging you to stay married. Also, having more dependents means you're helping the government in some way so maybe you need some form of tax credit

Nigerian government should not do anything like that o. Couples kill themselves here over slight issues. Imagine when tax returns are involved.
Happens everywhere in the world. Divorce gets messy in the US as well
