Olubankemi, you need to let her go and get a matured nanny. She's too much work for you to deal with + the babies you have. What you need is someone dat can work with little or no supervision. I prefer the matured ones dat come in the morning and close in the evening. That way, you will maintain your sanity and not go crazy about one little gal dat wees on the bed, steals, lies etc.

For the baby food, keep them in your room. My nanny hs a 2yr old child so I don't give her the avenue to steal. I keep my baby's food in my room. I have dispensers where I put the portion he should eat b4 I return from work. Once I'm back, she closes the day.

If you need a small person around to play with baby, you can but ensure dis particular girl leaves b4 u get BP o! My principle concerning helps is dat no one is indispensable! If you leave today, I will get a better person. Start the search, preferably use agents so u can fall back on them in case anytin goes wrong.

I saw a matured one that asked for 50k monthly

She also cant resume b4 7am as i must leave home 7am.
Even if she will be closing 5pm o.

I think small househelps are actually very troublesome to keep and can be mischievous too.
when I told my mom I needed a HH, she went to the village to find me one 9 yr old pikin.
I went to check cost of registration in school for her, 40,000. whaaaat!!!! I will still feed, cloth, take care of any sickness etc.
I told mumsi not to bother, I got an agent
the first girl he brought for me, I sent her back to him the next day
the babes breasts are as big as oranges , how did I know?
she left the door open when she was bathing, I called her and she came to answer me wearing only pant and tights, no bra or top o
I saw her bare boobs like 4 times within 2 hours, and she had her own room o.
she would come and join me and DH on the chair in the parlour as we were watching tv.
DH even shouted at her like 20 mins after she came because she was just eyeing me when I wasn't looking. 17 yr old pikin.
I told her she would go the next day, that I cant afford to pay her, she stole my new clothes as she was going.
agent brought another one.
I liked this one once I saw her
she has her issues though bit we work around it.
first thing I did was to get her towel, sponge and brush
also bought her deodorant, a roll of soap etc.
I went to the bank with her and opened an account for her (na me hold the atm sha) she cant runaway without me knowing
I have done small shopping for her ( cloths, bras, etc) and she has not stayed with me for more than two months
she says she doesn't want to touch her money so I pay her salary by transfer, she gets the alert, I give her small money for recharge card.
She is also 17 but far better and more respectful than the first one.
I treat her very well because I know how I treat her would be how she treats my pikin in my absence.
and I want her to derive pleasure in staying with me, not just cos of salary.
she does all the housework, irons, goes to market etc. she has started cooking noodles and the likes for me sef.
I give her money to cook her own soup, then give her provisions for tea once a month, if she like make she lick am finish
b/fast and dinner she eats what we eat.
that's the method I have been using and its working for me, though I came back unexpectedly one afternoon and caught her cooking rice
you cant win them all. personally, I think its better to go for more mature maids, than small children, their wahala is too much. their parents also expect too much from you. if you beat am now, people go dey shout child abuse
what people fear is that the mature house help will collect their husband but for me I cant be bothered biko
I cant think of my baby, work, food , and also think of how HH will seduce DH.
But anyday I catch them making goo-goo eyes at each other, then out of three of us, one person go die o

Me wee not tell u if u are to go o.
I wee make sure u do all ur work at night then wake u by 4am and tell u to get ready that u r going.

Be4 them go plant something overnight... or theif.

Washing baby cloths... when i mentioned it to my friend a mother of 3, she laughed n fell off her chair saying its for ok cloths. .. i tried explaining why i need to wash n she still teases me with it till today.

Me sef, until first week of october be4 i will wash and put Babies Nursary together.... bed n all.
Everything is still packed.....
Want to evrn re-arrange my room to accomodate baby wardrobe.
As i am a clingy person. Cant stand my babies things in d other room where guest (Mom n MIL n maybe nanny) will be. Lol imagine the guest.
I will feel am exposing my baby too much as anyone can search through baby things.... lol

Capo @iomoge2, I'm doing very fine, LO kicks very often nw, even while standing, currently 29weeks 3days. I'm going shopping next week with sis in law as she sabi dosumu well well. It is well!
Na so I dreamt 3days ago dat I gave birth to a very black baby, eeeee, like charcoal, I neva see where baby dey black from birth, funny enough I was very happy in d dream who else is having weird dreams?

Me that hardly sleeps.
Where i wan see dream.... Lol

Twas in d start that i dreamt and saw baby girl twice.
As weird as it was, my baby was speaking audibly to me as we were leaving d hopsital from her birth... lol and the dream showed her life in stages....

Another one too showed me her life in stages... i start from when she is small and dream on till she grows... lol

I can even draw her face o.

So weird i think.

However during ttc days, i also saw her n 2 other boys when we went shopping.....
Next missionary journey loading....

My own i dont even know if its dream or vision sef.

Re: the nanny/maid matter may God just help us get the right ones because adult/teenager or child they each may have their own ish too! My friend's adult nanny would lock the child indoors for hours and go out till evening na the day she and gateman quarrel the whole matter was exposed. My church member also got home and randomly checked the bin saw a diaper filled with blood and rushed baby to clinic. All sorts of tests done and money spent baby was declared ok. She enquired from nanny and nanny says oh well she uses the diapers for her period!!!! A woman randomly heard neighbour's child crying she burst into the flat and met child tied to chair. Maid said she needed to mop and nanny said she needed to sleep! So you see na make God just help person get a good one.

it's not even necessarily dependent on how nice or not nice the madam is! But i encourage everyone to be kind and fair to any dependant or domestic worker in their purview/employment.

Sometimes being idle too encourages their bad behaviour so iomoge2 for eg your girl should have been doing her own laundry. She wont wear ten clothes in one day!

Abi, i felt i cant have a washing machine n she would be using hands na. It will make me too wicked.

Plus i hate dirty cloths piling up or bathroom dirty.
So no matter what, i try to put those ones in place.

I understood TTC n its pains through her.

I had one n didnt even let her stay 2weeks.
Someone dat will be crying every night that she must sleep with me n hubby... becos she grew up in a crowded house.
She eats like kilode, when u give her heap of food, she will swalow it all b4 u blink n start looking like she didnt get food.
I used to think i n hubby over eats until this madam will eat double of wat we eat. issokie
The one i couldnt stand was when she would always open my house down. Mosquitoes n insects was the order of d day daily.....me dat 1 week. My place is still like i just flitted.

Madam knows when i return, thats shen she will be busy then chase all the kids on d street from d house n pretend.
I realised thst they bring out my bsby tjings to play with... haaaa.
I no sabi lock ròom door but i don learn.

When i thought left n right, i will send u to school, still put my child in creche all 4 washing plate n cleaning house and playing with baby when am home which am not sure of as she is too playful n film loving..... i just package am back.

Sister girl can wear 10 set of cloths in a day, landlord pickin dey upstairs.... lol
N am d one washing as i cant allow her do my washing machine kalo kalo to aviod stories that touch.
Machine is semi manual.

the only perfect thing is sweeping n mopping.
My sister girl piles plate when i dont n u go talk tire... n hear i will wash it later.
New tin of milk left open n air spoilt it.

I couldnt deal men.
I still have till January to get some1.
Will be patient.

Looking 4 someone that i will enroll for handiwork when my baby starts school.
so she can help me 4 a while b4 then.
