I think like someone mentioned, the location of the placenta plays a huge role in the kicks you feel. Cos at 32weeks you should definitely be feeling stronger kicks. My placenta was posterior presentation so I always felt Ayomide's kicks....and when I dint feel his kick, i drink coke and my tummy becomes a football field

Zoe never responds to sugar or cold water.
Coke give me unbearable heartburn n fibriods pain.
Infact i had rest from fibriods pain d very day i didnt take a bottle of soft drink again.

The major kicks i feel is when i lay on my left n she is kicking away the fibriod.... like its disturbing her.
She kicks n digs till i change position b4 she becomes calmer.

Dunno again joor....

Is ur placenta posterior or anterior? If it's anterior dat could be the reason, It could also be because of ur stature, I heard ppl who are on the big side don't get to feel kicks much dunno if dat's true.

I started feeling baby's kicks from 20wks, I don't even have to touch before feeling it.

You can try out this method, drink cold water then lie down on your left side in a quiet place you should feel it.

I felt movt very early... say 17weeks. Been feeling kicks too.

I am on d big side... but not adding weight.... just added 4kg since the start of this journey.....
I used to feel kicks very well but of late its movt.....
And i touch my tommy to feel it.

when the placenta is anterior ( front of the baby), u will not feel the kicks much. did ur scan results say anterior placenta?

Fundus posterior sef.... upper part of the womb.

Thing is i dont feel it from outside b4 as babyy was always kicking inwards....

But now, seems baby changed position and is kicking outward.

@ iyawotobe, I want to advise you based on personal experience. I'll suggest you don't go cold turkey.
Firstly, it may wreck you emotionally considering the fact that you are pregnant. Will you be able to withstand watching your baby cry for hours without food? Some babies can stay for one week without their mum but once they see their mum, they want their boobi back and the cry starts all over again.
Secondly, a woman can actually breastfeed a baby while pregnant as long as it's not a risk to you or the baby in your womb. I took in for my 3rd baby when my second was just 9mths old and I weaned him off boobi at one year.
This is what I did, I reduced the number of times I breastfed him in the daytime, I do one less feeding per day every three days. For night feeding, I make sure he eats enough cereal before bed and I offer water if he wakes up and breastfeed once in the early morning. If you breastfeed like 4 times in d night, you can start reducing it that way, your body adjusts to this.
I have super supply when I'm breastfeeding but I've never had engorgement issues while weaning and my children sleep through the night once I wean them.
I also heard that some children are very sensitive to pregnancy hormones so they wean themselves once their mum gets pregnant.
I'll only suggest going cold turkey if the child is about 15 mths, eats solid well but is difficult to wean because he uses breast to soothe.
In all, choose what works best for you.

But all i said was based on the fact that the baby should have started eating before now... so stopping shouldnt be a big deal. And its not really cold turkey to me again since its not today baby is starting food.

Praise God. Little princess came yesterday afternoon through scheduled induction with epidural @ 39w4d weighting in at 3.3 kg.
B.S. not dramatic as induction to birth was 4 hrs and had my epidural topped up to the end including during pushing and episiotomy stitch (can't come and kill myself). The only thing dramatic about it was trying to get to the hospital in time for my appointment through traffic- VI traffic has been crazy this week.

Baby breast and bottle feeding already. vigil has started.

At once.. and be serious especially at night cos its easier to give baby boobies at night to stop d wailing.

Tell ur baby no more boobies for u.
The child will hear. Lol
Then use cabbage to wrap ya boobies be4 wearing bra.

This helps a lot.
Do it as often as possible.
If your child is crying too much. Take him/ her to grand parents let the baby spend 3days...
At night when baby wakes up make better tea. Feed baby n pet to sleep... night is more difficult.

No pity pity if u r serious.

Thanks Iomoge2, Liftedhands, Besea, Alphahandmaiden and others who chipped in. I redid the test in a lab today and it was 24. Meaning that the 10.4 was not accurate but still 24 is too low. BEcause i am scheduled to have a CS, the doctor told me that if i don't build up my blood i might have to have a blood transfusion.

I was initally on Fesolate which is one a day but it was making me stool so i took it haphardly. Now, i have been placed on another one that should be taken twice a day. I have cut out all other multivitamins and take just the precribed ones in case there is any other medicine that is inhibiting the absorbtion of iron. I am just tired of the whole thing.

I practically live on Ugwu and green okro these days. I will include the Anara leaves. God will give me the strenght to overcome it.

U will overcome it in Jesus name.
