Fearless007 my own answer definitely doesn't resemble the answers other mamas have provided about the girdle.
I was put in a post partum binder the next day after my CS. But the the hospital gave me was too big, so I had to start using the one I bought.
I don't have 'an incision scar' and the belt comes in 3 parts so you can avoid the incision area.
My major aim of using the belt now is os it provides good back support for me when standing, my tummy is hanging loose so the belt helps me keep everything in place.

This your comment reminds me of my experience with one scan center like that.

At 8 weeks I was scanned by an experienced Dr at the general hospital who confirmed I was 8 weeks gone and said there was fatal heart beat and all the necessary things that needs to be seen at 8 weeks.

me not convinced about his report because he was not talking to me while doing the scan, he didn't say anything to me even when I asked him questions he just put everything in the report.

when I came out I just told my husband that I don't like the way the Dr did not tell me anything but put it in the report so I don't trust him, I told dh to take me to a private scan center to re assure myself that I am pregnant.

so we went into this scan center o, the man checked and checked and told me that he can't see anything, later on he said I should be around 6 weeks that he can see a gestational sac but no heart beat and no fetal pole, if you see the way jumped up from that his table ehn! the man fear.

when we were going home dh asked if we should look for another place I told him no thanks I have had enough I will follow the first dr's report.

so I think some of these scan center operators are quarks.

It's a different thing if she said she was scared. I'm sure a lot of woman would have given her several reassurances.

But her saying that her husband suggested she goes under a knife just because he doesn't want any doctor checking his wife during vaginal examination deserves some hard talk. In fact, a man that loves and cares genuinely about his wife should not suggest such and I'm sure a lot of mums here share the same sentiments.

I only responded based on her initial post. She never said anything about baby's head passing through the vijay. Their main concern was the use of fingers during vaginal examination.

I already apologised to her before I began my post. I only spoke passionately as a mum who underwent CS and came out with a baby scarred from the surgery.

Rejoice with my family, my princess arrived this morning by 3:19am weighing 3:39kg through VD. It's the Lord doing because I was initially booked for CS tomorrow.

Pls where can I do 3d or 4d scan around itire or surulere, I stay at alapere-ketu, I want a very friendly sonographer as my scan centre here does nt even allow ur dh to enter, d man does nt even smile.

Im not sure about the menstrual like pain. It might indeed be a sign of labor. You might want to check in at the hospital to see how many cm dilated you are.
Yes iomoge2 that hardening of the stomach is indeed contractions.. confirmed that when I had a baby monitor on my tummy while waiting for delivery.

I think one mama had mentioned that one can start pumping before baby comes. As long as you have constant power supply, the milk can be stored safely in the fridge. But remember that tip stimulation can cause one to fall into labor.
I was not supposed to fall into labor so I avoided anything that can trigger labor. But I started pumping the day after my delivery and breastmilk started coming out the next day

Sabi mamas plz I av a question , am 35wks plus now bt av never experienced Braxton Hicks d only thing I do experience is d menstrual like pain and I experienced a painful one dis midnight though I felt it more at one side Than d other side and it took long before it disappeared, could it be that I should be expecting my LO soon?

Thanks dear.. and yea that scan picture was quite realistic.
My dear, the waist pain in the last weeks can raise the dead. Walahi. Even now the back pain is still there but thank God for the post partum belt, its helping straighten my back. Breast pump is very essential mehn....it would help stimulate your tips before milk starts flowing.

Good evening all. I've been reading this page for sometime now, never knew id need to post here someday. Pls I've been TTC for a while now recently I got all the symptoms that made me go jiggy so I did a PT at home that read positive so today I went for a scan only to be told there's no pregnancy with the result in the picture attached. I'm heartbroken and confused. Can someone explain this result pls. I need to know what it says implications and all. Thank you
