Rio de Janeiro is the second most populous metropolitan in Brazil and 7th in America with population of about 6 million. It is the capital of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Rio was founded in 1565 by Portuguese, and it became capital of state of Brazil in 1763, a state of Portuguese empire. It stayed the capital of the pluricontinental Lusitanian Monarchy until 1822 when war for Brazil independence began. This is one of the few instances when a colonizing country have its capital in one of its colony. Rioj was the capital of the independent Empire of Brazil until 1889, and capital of Republican Brazil until 1960 when the capital was transferred to Brasilia. Rio de Janeiro is the one of the most visited cities in America. It is known for its carnivals, samba, bossa nova, beaches and it’s most famous the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer on top of Concovado mountain.

According to 2010 census Rio de Janeiro consists of 51.2% Whites, Pardo(multiracial), Blacks 11.5%, 0.7% Asian, and 0.1% Amerindian. Most people living Rio are from Portuguese ancestry. It has the highest number of Portuguese outside Lisbon. The city city is divided to districts which include the tourist friendly wealthier south zone (Zonal Sul),the historic center (Centro), the residential less wealthy Zone (Zonal Norte), peripheries in the west Zone(Zonal Oeste), Santa Cruz and Campo Grande and new wealthy Barra da Tijuca district.

The first football match played in Rio was played on September 1894. Rio was home to former biggest stadium in the world (Maracana stadium) with 199,000 capacity before it was reduced.Rio de Janeiro hosted 2014 FIFA world cup final between Germany and Argentina. It is the host of 2016 summer Olympics and Paralympics. This the first time a city in South America will be hosting Olympics.

I will never advice anybody traveling to USA to use any agent..all the informations you need are online...you can come here anytime to get advice...am so sorry for that guy whose chance was ruined by fake Ghana visa..fake Ghana visa...

I remember when I went for my student visa interview, I saw a guy that was going to interview without receipt of Seviz fee,the agent he used didn't print for him, and he had no idea

Remember to thank Delta Airlines. They made it possible for our team to arrive for the game.

Commenting on the airlifting, Delta Airlines spokesman Anthony Black “This is a special occasion, not only because it’s the Olympics, but also, exactly 20 years ago, on this day, the Nigerian football team needed a miracle to beat Argentina to win the gold medal in Atlanta at the Olympics. Today, we are happy to help them with another miracle.”

Thank You Delta Airlines. Thank You, Atlanta. Thank You America.

God Be with you all. Come On Dream Team.
thanks for sharing the information we will put them in prayer
