The problem was not tactics. The problem was 3-pronged.
1. Inconsistent Refereeing.
2. Steve Kerr.
3. Coasting.

1. the fouls they called on Curry, it took Beverly to do those things 3 times to get one call. Curry had 4 fouls at the beginning of the 3rd quarter when we were up 20+ yet Beverly got his 4th at the beginning of the 4th. That is totally unacceptable.
b. The last 2 fouls on KD that fouled him out, are you kidding me? What sort of refereeing is that? Totally killed the game especially when we were expecting an and one at the time.
c. Jesus, Lou Williams got every freaking free throw in the world. As long as he leaned on the defender, the refs used their whistle. Meanwhile, KD was being rough-handled and the refs were letting Clippers get away with it.

2. Steve Kerr killed the momentum. As soon as he saw Clippers were on the run, Curry should have come in. He let him get cold. On the other end, what was it with one stupid turnover after another. We were up 94-63 and subsequently lost 72-37 the remainder of the game. That simply cannot happen to a championship team.

3. We saw Clippers hit 3 after 3 even when they were in the bonus early in the 3rd and 4th. Yet nobody took initiative to drive and get buckets or FTs. Curry went so so cold and nothing he did for a few mins worked. Klay Thompson bricked shot after shot. Somehow we just assumed we would still win.

Clippers deserved their victory and like I said, I am happy it happened now and not later in the playoffs. This was our bad habit of the regular season re-appearing so better we fixed it now.

GSW will still win it all. Anybody who is doubting can quote this post. I will be here to remind y'all I said so.

Bruh!!! I don't understand the boys sometimes. 31pts!!! I slept off when they were up by 23 and thought it's just clippers. Even if they had that 21fts in one quarter, things like these are too much abeg. I'm not worried about Clippers sef. It's when something like this happens with Houston. Of which we know they'll get FTs as much as they like.
