9. Broker strong Diaspora involvement in security matters including funding.

Dr. Okonkwo also promised to reshape the riverine community and turn every disadvantage condition in Anambra west into something positive as seen in today’s lekki which was Maroko, one of the worst slum in the world before. Nobody will believe that the Lekki in Lagos state today was Maroko before because of the level of investment in the area.

The ZLP Guber Candidate has developed plans as seen in his ten point agenda, which is a programme to revive the economy of Anambra state, provide basic health care, industrialization, commerce, youth and human capital developments.

Anambra West LGA of the state, like other LGAs in Anambra state has been totally neglected by successive government of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), but the incoming government of ZLP will make life better for the people of that LGA and indeed the entire people of the state.

On November 6 the entire Nigeria will set their attention on Anambra state for the 2021 Governorship election to elect new Governor for the state.

The leading candidates in the race are; Chief Obiora Okonkwo of Zenith Labour Party, ZLP; Professor Chukwuma Soludo of All Progressive Grand Alliance; Senator Andy Uba of All Progressive Congress; and Mr Valentine Ozigbo of Peoples Democratic Party. If we are to be honest without sentiment, only one among these candidates is deserving our votes.

Mr Valentine Ozigbo of PDP is a puppet of Peter Obi, and has no support of the people and the party. Even the National Assembly members from the state are not in support of him. Many senior party chiefs, including Hon Azubogu and Senator Stella Oduah declined to be part of his campaign council. Besides, he is not seen as the valid candidate of PDP in the eyes of the law because an unpopular Senator Ugochukwu Uba is the recognised candidate for now.

Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the candidate of APGA, is seen as the lapdog and godson of outgoing Governor Willie Obiano. Despite his fame, his unpopularity in the state is unprecedented as he has not touched lives of people in his community. He is also in contention with Hon Chuma Umeoji for the nomination of the party.

Senator Andy Uba of APC is a colossal failure. The underdevelopment of Anambra state can be traced to him as an individual, and the Ubas as family. Besides, his party is a BIG NO to Ndi-Anambra state.

The only candidate with solid credentials is Dr Obiora Okonkwo Dikeora of Zenith Labour Party, ZLP.

Chief Obiora Okonkwo of ZLP was a strong and committed member of PDP until the party through the infamous suspended chairman, Uche Secondus, and a former governor of Anambra state, Chief Peter Obi, manipulated the process by denying over 3000 delegates of their right to freely elect the party flagbearer simply because they want to coronate a new entrant in the race and adopted godson of Obi, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, at the party's primary election.

Penultimate to the charade, majority of the party's adhoc, statutory and automatic delegates across the entire local government areas of the state were prepared to hand the party's mandate to Dr Okonkwo due to his laudable plans for the state.

The delegates aligned with Dr Okonkwo because of his commitment to their welfare as a people and as party, his programs for the state, his antecedents as private citizen, and most importantly, his resolve to be a man (and Governor) whose loyalty is primarily to the indigenes of the state and not a self proclaimed godfather.

An interesting aspect of Dr Obiora Okonkwo is that all his promises to Anambra state are things that he has been doing as private citizens for several years due to the fact that God has blessed him with wealth and compassion for his people. This cannot be said candidates of other parties.

Following the self inflicted tragedy that hit PDP on the evening of the primary, party stakeholders and citizens of the state prevailed on the businessman to switch to Zenith Labour Party and actualise his ambition; a call he heeded to as a people servant.

The case of Dr Obiora is similar to what played out in 2007 in Ondo state when Governor Segun Agagu was foisted on the PDP members by President Olusegun Obasanjo for a second term despite the preference of the stakeholders and the people of the state for Dr Olusegun Mimiko. The unrelenting party members simply prevailed on Dr Mimiko to switch to Labour Party, and mobilised the people of the state to cast their votes for him (the party) at the main election in a historic victory.

While the case of Ondo state was about PDP members queuing behind Mimiko, the case of Anambra state is about PDP members, APC members and APGA members queuing behind Dr Obiora Okonkwo of ZLP because no one want someone that will be a puppet to his godfather nor a crooked individual to preside over our dear state.

Apprenticeship Scheme: PDP Media Watchdog declares Support for Dr. Obiora Okonkwo…invites other state governors to emulate him.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), media watchdog, one of the leading media groups in the PDP has declared its support for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Candidate in the November 6, 2021 Governorship Election, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo.

The media group made the declaration in Abuja on Monday, August 30, 2021, after its general meeting to deliberate on the Anambra election and issues affecting the country.

PDP media watchdog is one of the leading voices in the party, that has contributed immensely to the successes of PDP at both national and state levels.

The group’s declaration was as a result of the recent launch of Dr. Okonkwo’s Graduates/Apprenticeship scheme, to alleviate the suffering masses in Anambra state.

According to the group’s National Cordinator, Mr. Tunde Lawal, the group also deliberated on the numerous court issues affecting the chances of the PDP in Anambra state and considered Dr Okonkwo as the most credible option for the people of the state based on his competence, policies and programmes.

Mr Tunde said that, it is most likely the PDP may not be able to field a Guber candidate in the election and called on all its members nationwide, particularly in Anambra state to support, campaign and vote for Dr Obiora Okonkwo of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).

“We are just coming out of our general meeting and our members, after considering the numerous court cases affecting our party and it’s candidate in Anambra state, unanimously adopted Dr. Obiora Okonkwo as our candidate in the next election, especially because his programmes and policies for the people of the state” Mr Tunde said.

Mr. Tunde lamented that, if the PDP had known before the primary election, the party would have nominated Dr Okonkwo as it’s candidate, going by his competence, result oriented and the programmes he has for his people.

“Our party made a terrible mistake in the first place. From our assessment, Dr. Okonkwo would have managed the issues in our party better than the acclaimed candidate of the party, Mr Valentine Ozigbo. Dr. Okonkwo has been providing leadership in the party even before he left PDP to Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), due to injustices and high handedness of Mr. Peter Obi”.

Mr Tunde said that Mr. Obi’s “godfather” role in the affairs of the PDP in the state is not good for the party and for the people of Anambra state.

He concluded by saying that, “Dr. Okonkwo is the only candidate among his peers with the requisite resume, relevant experience and with the capacity to govern Anambra state”

He expresses hope on the aspiration of the ZLP Guber Candidate and lay more emphasis on Dr. Okonkwo’s Graduates/Apprenticeship Scheme programme, saying that no Guber candidate in the history of Anambra state had such programme for the people of the state.

“Our people are very happy with the launch of Dr. Okonkwo poverty reduction programmes. This is one of the best programmes we have seen. Even the conditional cash transfer and other schemes of Nigeria’s Federal Government cannot compete with this. We therefore invite all unemployed graduates and apprentices in Anambra state to key into this scheme. We also want to use this opportunity to urge other PDP states in Nigeria to emulate Dr. Okonkwo in their various states by establishing the scheme in their states.

Sequel to the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial election that is fast approaching, Anambra state presbytery of the Methodist church of Nigeria is very much interested on the personality, capacity and intention of the person to take over from the current Government of Governor Willie Obiano.

In addendum to that, Church and politics are synchronous and interconnected because church is very much interested in the leadership and welfare of her citizens and other affairs as piloted by the government because what affects the masses invariably affect the church.
What affects masses growth and development invariably affect the church too.

On this note, the Methodist church of Nigeria has deem it fit to queue in and be part of the process that sees to the emergence of our political leaders as it affect the state.

On a close observation, after much scrutiny and background checks, the Anambra state presbytery of Methodist church of Nigeria has decided to interface with High Chief Obiora Okonkwo (Dikeora) to know more about his antecedents, agenda and how to chart a new course for better and fruitful Anambra that will usher in massive economic impact, growth and development in our dear state.

Political leaders of Idemili South local government area of Anambra State have endorsed Dr. Obiora Okonkwo of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) for the November 6 governorship election in the state.

Thay also vowed to stand solidly with him to make sure he clinched the top job.

The leaders made this public during a meeting of the ZLP in Idemili South LG and wards at the residence of Chief John Okigbo, a scion of the very influential Okigbo dynasty of Ojoto.

Addressing the audience, Chief Okigbo reminded the ZLP members and leadership of the need to close ranks and remain focused on the November 6 goal.

He said "Dr. Obiora Okonkwo stands shoulder taller than all other candidates in the race" adding that "his integrity is incomparable."

According to Chief Okigbo, the people of Anambra state have a lot to gain voting in Dr. Okonkwo to lead them into a new wave of properity.

He said "Dr. Okonkwo will lead Anambra to a whole new level of prosperity because he is well prepared for the challenges ahead for the state".

Speaking also at the event, Chairman of ZLP in the state, Chief Uche Ugwuoji, urged people of the state to remain steadfast in the task to redirect affairs of the state for the good of all.

Stating that Dr. Okonkwo has the capacity to lead Anambra in a positive direction, the ZLP boss said "all the other parties have failed woefully".

According to him "Anambra had experimented with PDP and it failed. We have experimented with APGA for 16 years and it has rather taken our dear state back 16 years. Now, Anambra people yearn for something different and ZLP offers them that which they seek".

The Ogidi born politician cum business man, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, the Guber Candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), has been adopted as a consensus Candidate by other political parties and critical stakeholders in Anambra state ahead of the scheduled November 6, 2021 Election in the state.

Dr Okonkwo’s adoption came as a result of his outstanding credentials and pedigree, and also due to his array of people’s oriented programmes and policies for Ndi-Anambra if elected as the next Governor of the state.

In addition, the people of Anambra state have also considered the numerous issues affecting other political parties and its candidates in the state, especially, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), All Progressives Congress (APC), the Young Progressives Party (YPP), and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In APGA, the lingering integrity crisis between its Guber candidate, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, and the party is destroying the soul of the party in the state.

APGA is also battling in court on who is the actual Guber candidate of the party, even with the court ruling that imposed Professor Soludo on INEC and the party.

In APC, there are serious crisis between the former Governor of the state and minister of Labour and employment, Dr Chris Ngige and the Guber candidate of the party, Senator Andy Ubah. The crisis in APC is leaving no one in doubt as to what will become of the party before the November 6, 2021 Guber Election.

In the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), it’s becoming clearer that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), may not be able to list any candidate of the party due to numerous court issues.

The YPP Guber Candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is also battling with integrity crisis, scary debt profile and other issues. The stakeholders in Anambra state have considered Senator Ifeanyi as a serious burden with too much baggage if elected as Governor of Anambra state.

In view of the above, the people of Anambra state have agreed that,
Considering the importance of these issues affecting the parties and it’s candidates, it is suicidal for Ndi-Anambra to waste their votes on any of the above listed political parties that will put the state in jeopardy at the end of the election in November.

The stakeholders from the different political parties and state in general have therefore unanimously agreed to elect Dr Obiora Okonkwo of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), as the next Governor of the state come November 6, 2021.

Ndi-Anambra Cannot Re-Enforce Failures: By Chukwuma Uchenna.

APGA is a Failure-

1. Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Guber Candidate of the failed All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in Anambra state is a serial failure who has never used his past and current privileged positions to better the lives of his people.

Professor Soludo failed to empower anybody from his community and the state with employment and contract despite the high office he held as central bank governor and now member of President Buhari’s economic team.

Professor Soludo is promising to turn the economy of Anambra state for the better even when he could not advice President Buhari to turnaround the economy of Nigeria as a member of the Federal Government Economic Advisory Council.

APGA is a failure and Ndi-Anambra cannot re-enforce failures.

APC Is a Failure-

2. Senator Andy Uba, the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is another serial failure , who has been going around promising Ndi-Anambra what he cannot achieve.

Senator Uba was a member of the Senate for EIGHT YEARS between 2011 and 2019, but failed woefully and was grossly rejected by the people of Anambra south when he sought for a third term in office.

Anambra South that rejected him are not foolish.

Senator Uba was also a Special Assistant to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo between 2001 and 2007, yet he could not attract any meaningful project to Anambra state.

The worse is that, Senator Uba is running under a failed political party that has grossly impoverished Nigerians at the national level.

Ndi- Anambra Cannot re-enforce failures, APC is not an option in Anambra state.

PDP Candidate Is The Puppet Of A Failed Godfather

3. Valentine Ozigbo of the PDP is a puppet of the godfather, the former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi.

He was conscripted into the race and funded by the same godfather that brought the current failed governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano.

The same godfather brought Valentine Ozigbo of the PDP and is marketing him as an "intellectual", the same way he told us in 2013 that the current failed Governor Obiano was an intellectual.

We are free-born, say no to godfatherism in Anambra. Ndi-Anambra cannot re-enforce failures?

YPP is Another Ugly Failure

4. Senator Ifeanyi Uba of YPP is a serious debtor that owes almost everyone including the federal government of Nigeria. His business partners and staffers are all protesting.

Chief Cosmos Maduka has been screaming on the huge money owed him by Senator Andy Ubah.

AMCON also listed him as a notorious debtor.

Having failed in his private businesses, your guess is as good as mine what he would do to Anambra treasury if by error he is made Governor.

Ndi-Anambra cannot afford to REINFORCE THESE FAILURES!

This is what people who has National and International Contacts do, they facilitate and attract Projects and Human Capital to their people and their immediate society.

Soludo who has been boasting of his International Connections since he left the Central Bank in 2008 is yet to facilitate any project in His Clan in Isuofia. The Mgbafor Memorial Hospital he's building in memory of his belived Laate mother (May Her Soul Rest in Peace) which is the only feasible project he has in his community has been hanging uncompleted since the past 13 years.

ANTECEDENTS VALIDATES FUTURE PROMISES!!!

The supporters of the Cabals, U-AYA Chief Priest and Soludo should show us anywhere in Anambra that Soludo used his acclaimed International Connection to facilitate any project in the State.

They should show us at least 10 persons from his community, Isuoifia that he used his former capacities as;

• Chief Executive of the National Planning Commission of Nigeria

On November 6, people of voting age with permanent voters cards, PVC, in Anambra state will assemble at their registered polling units and points to vote for a new Governor for the state.

Although there are four major contenders by observation, a real look into the power play shows that Dr Obiora Okonkwo, the candidate of Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, is the lead candidate among the pack and next Governor of Anambra state if the electorate convert the open support for his candidacy to vote and defend their votes too.

Prior to the primary election of Peoples Democratic Party that held in June 2021, many Anambrians do not know what Zenith Labour Party is or what it represents. However, following the primary election of PDP, which was fraught with irregularities and characterized with flagrant disobedience of the party's constitution, Dr. Okonkwo, a businessman and philanthropist, who many had believed would emerged as the candidate of the party, eventually came runner up.

Due to this development and coupled with a popular call by indigenes of the state from all works of life and across party lines on him to continue with his divine mission to rescue Anambra state, Zenith Labour Party was brought into the state and accepted by all to serve as vehicle for the gubernatorial actualisation of *Dikeora*.

As at today, Obiora Okonkwo is the only candidate whose support base cut across all party lines, and has no baggage across the entire Anambra state. He is also the only candidate that has no civil suit challenging his candidacy. This is unlike Valentine Ozigbo, Chukwuma Soludo and Andy Uba of PDP, APGA and APC respectively that have factions and rivals challenging the legitimacy of their candidacy. In APGA, there are three factions laying claims to the party's ticket. In APC members of the party have vowed showdown with the candidate and have even approached the court to disqualify the party from the race. While in the case of PDP, the electoral body, INEC, has declined to list any of the contending factions as legitimate due to conflicting court orders.

Furthermore, Dr Obiora Okonkwo is seen as the consensus of all aggrieved party leaders and members across APC, PDP and APGA, and they have commenced mobilisation of the electorate to ensure his victory.

While many await the November 6 D-Day, I earnestly await a new Anambra state with Dr Obiora Okonkwo
