In Lagos 2.5 Congo = 1 rubber paint

In Ibadan, the price of 1 Congo of beans now is #600

So, #600 × 60 (1bag) = #36,000

So, #36,000 - #34,500 ( cost price n tfare) = #1,500 for profit on bag.

Can't you see that is not profitable at this moment.

The beans I have at hand (selling) now was bought when the price was #25,000, so the beans I bought last week at rate of #32,500 will be selling in the next 3wks or more, so the price would have go up then.

I bought beans at rate of #25,000 with transport making #27,000

Then one congo is #600, #600 × 60 (1bag) = #36,000

So, #36,000 - #27,000 = #9,000 profit on bag.


N:B. In this week, beans will go up to 700 per Congo because the price of beans is now 32k. And also my calculation base on DRUM BEANS, not honey beans because honey beans is more expensive than drum beans but the difference is #100.

God bless you,you know exactly what's happening. I planted beans last year but when I saw in the market a farmer have to beg buyer to buy his beans then I promised never to plant it again. This year the price of beans will not be down like that,even today I bought it @24k.
