Probably a leftover Goat from the regime of the Ineffectual Buffoon. Had Baba fired her reshaping things, these Ipod miscreants getting excited over the Ipod Goat's oversight since it portrays Baba's regime in bad light would have been the same Ekpas shouting "marginalisation".

Baba is just wasting his time thinking these people would work for his success.

Nonsense. He's doing this "show" because of the backlash from his last hypocritical medical trip abroad.

I could bet my next sex absolutely nothing is wrong with him because if he goes down with as little as catarrh, we know he'd travel to a pharmacy abroad for medications.

[s]With this, I suppose it's time the anti-graft war of this administration will cease from being started and stopped on the pages of newspapers, on electronic media and on social media.

It must end the incessant inordinate act of passing judgement on the accused even before investigations are completed, let alone commenced, as it has been the case lately.

Too bad that this man had already been dented black, as well as his friends, associates and other well meaning Nigerians he had any dealings with even before he would be investigated or tried by a competent court.

I know so much billions has been budgeted for Lia Mohammed and his ministry for Propaganda cum noise in order to flood Nigerians with the possibility that this government is working.
But, who ever said that it is until we achieve all the media hype about corruption-fight before The anti-corruption war would have been fought and won?
It is getting out of hand and the noise is further damaging the image of Nigeria the world over.
Enough is enough.

#nigerians are not all corrupt/criminals[/s]
WTF is this Wailing Ipod Ekpa saying?? Were you people not the ones who accused, prosecuted and convicted Lamorde on the internet and pages of newspapers just to blackmail the president into dumping his anti-corruption war?? Were your Wailings not the cardinal reason the man was sacked?? Now, you are back to feast on your own puke.

I pray you guys receive sense someday. This is getting out of hand.

By the way, newspapers will always report news of government activities whether you Ipod defenders of Universal Goats like it or not. It is up to you not to read such news as it is the duty of the press to source and report the news they get.

You can spend all your time listening to radio biafra or commenting on their fb page if you aren't comfortable with Nigerian news.

Was busy all day, but here is what you have been asking for:

IMF Executive Board Concludes 2014 Article IV Consultation with Nigeria
Press Release No. 15/91
March 4, 2015
On February 27, 2015, the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded the Article IV consultation1 with Nigeria.
Nigeria has a large and diverse economy that has achieved a decade of strong growth, averaging 6.8 percent a year, and now accounts for 35 percent of Sub-Saharan Africa’s gross domestic product (GDP). Inflation has remained in single digits for two years, and the banking sector, which has a strong capital base, is expanding credit. The trade surplus has been declining since the second quarter of 2013 on lower oil exports and continued strong growth of imports, and gross international reserves have been falling. Meanwhile, the general government fiscal deficit and public debt have been kept low. However, Nigeria still lags its peers in critical infrastructure and has high rates of poverty and income inequality. While the economy is diverse, with services accounting for over 50 percent of GDP in 2013, and oil only 13 percent, the oil sector remains a critical source for revenue and foreign exchange. With limited fiscal and external buffers ($2 billion in the excess crude account and $34.25 billion in gross international reserves, respectively at the end of 2014), the sharp decline of oil prices in the second half of 2014 underscores the challenging but compelling need to address remaining development challenges.
The authorities have responded to a sharp decline in oil prices. On February 18, 2015, the Central Bank of Nigeria closed the Dutch Auction System (rDAS) window, unifying the rDAS rate with interbank foreign exchange market rate. On February 25, 2015, the Senate approved the third revision to the 2015 budget, tightening the fiscal envelope by lowering the budget benchmark oil price to $52/barrel.

You and your kind will not succeed in tarnishing GEJ's image.

PoliticsRe: Reactions Of Nigerians To FG Statement On North Korea Nuclear Program by Iroh88(op): 6:34pm On Feb 11, 2016
Evening all.

I found it necessary to create this thread due to how disgusted I felt reading the remarks of Nigerians on facebook and on this forum regarding the statement credited to the FG (Foreign Affairs Ministry) regarding North Korea's Nuclear program.

Just a few days ago, the social media was set on fire with very critical remarks directed at the FG, complete with a popular hashtag trending on twitter when news broke that the president made a disparaging remark about Nigerians during his interview with a foreign newspaper.

The president, it was reported, stated that Nigerians held in prisons all over the world for crimes committed in their host nations are giving the country a bad image internationally. He admonished Nigerians to stay in their country and develop it to make it the envy of other nations.

Truthful as the statement was, Nigerians couldn't take it. They didn't hesitate to take to all know social media platforms to curse the hell out of the president for daring to call Nigerians "criminals". The thread regarded the incident on this forum ran over 16 pages!!

Nigerians stood on every rooftop, including Senator Bruce, and screamed to the world what a wonderful country Nigeria is.

They told the world what a powerful black Nation we have and how no other country comes close to Nigeria.

The told the world the president is a senile old fool who should be ignored.

They found a video of some white woman who sang our praises to high heavens and how he opinion validates their claim about what a glorious country with great people Nigeria is. It made fp and the insults/attack on the president over his remarks continued.

Today, they found a page on New York Times praising Nigerians and revived the scathing criticisms of the president over his idiotic statement!!

Ooooh, we showed the world that a PROUD and PATRIOTIC people we are!!

Fast forward to this day.

The MFA/FGN called on North Korea to abide by the UN resolutions regarding her nuclear programs, and these hitherto overly patriotic Nigerians made a stunning volte-face!! They lost their patriotic mein and have taken their country to the cleaners before the world!!

Suddenly, Nigeria has become some insignificant country who should dare make disparaging remarks about a mighty country like North Korea!!

They are saying it proudly on the forum and on Facebook and are proud of admitting we are nothing in the face of North Korea!!

They've "apologised" to North Korea on behalf of the FG, saying the person who made the statement must have been drunk when he did!!

Isn't it weird how they seem to have suddenly lost their towering pride in under a week??

Were the criticism over the Buhari remark borne out of genuine national pride or out of sheer hatred for the man who made the statement??

Were they a true reflection of how Nigerians feel as a people or just another wave rode upon by the opposition to score some cheap political points??

Aren't we being too hypocritical as a people??

At what point should we draw a line between politics and patriotism??

What exactly is going on??

Where is our sense of pride??

I've never seen bigger retards than some of my fellow countrymen. What exactly do Nigerians want?? When our leaders make seemingly disparaging remarks about the country, like saying her citizens are scattered in prisons across the globe giving us a bad reputation, we take to twitter and insult the living day lights out of them, yelling from every rooftop that the country is the best and most powerful in the world! Then they go ahead and source a video from some homeless fat white biitch to validate their standpoint and grease their egos.

When the same government makes formal statement that sounds like we are a mighty country that deserves respect, the same retarded idiots take to social media to insult the leaders and remind the world what an ant of a nation we are- then nairaland celebrates the foolishness!!

This is just shameful to say the least.
