dearpreye:Gradually we'd get there, but at this stage, just the warning shot alone would suffice because not much would be achieved beyond that. Even his security detail alone could be used to bully them into backing down. They would go after them and wouldn't mind extending the gesture to their families. |
Not sure we've reached that level of political sophistication to pull something of this nature off. Perhaps with time, we will. |
OZAOEKPE:Baba, you sure say you dey alright?? Shooo!! |
Wow! I foresee Ipod Wailing Ekpas protesting over this as well. ![]() Everything makes them angry. ![]() |
Pidggin:It rose after plunging by over 50% to an abysmal 4.3%. He still handed over much less than he inherited. Now tell me, on what moral grounds do you people stand to criticise Buhari?? Be honest with yourself for one. It took Jonathan 5 good years to bring it to 7.6% which he handed over to Buhari (despite the oil windfall) when what he inherited was 10.6%, yet you people want Buhari to give you 7.6% in ONE YEAR under conditions of record low oil prices. Tell me the truth, do you find that reasonable ![]() |
Pidggin:Ohhh, so the link isn't among those posted here. I see. ![]() That aside, what do you have to see about the figures above. Jonathan inherited 10.6%, ran it down to 4.3% in two years before it rose to 7.6% in 3years later (a figure still much less than what he inherited). I need your comments on that since you are one of the most vocal critics of Buhari's economic agenda and a vocal fan of Jonathan's. Remember, you supplied the link not me so you cannot fault the data. |
Pidggin:I knew your lie would get to you!! Now, in ALL the links you made available, the last of which isn't working, there's one with exclusive stats on GDP growth rate and it shows that your Hero inherited a GDP growing at 10.6% in 2010, and in under a year, it nosedived to 4.9% in 2011, and further to 4.3% in 2012 after which it started to rise steadily through 2013 (period of oil boom) until it peaked at 7.6% in 2015!!! Jonathan inherited a GDP growth of over 10% and handed over a GDP growth of 7.9%!! Now, what do you have to say about that?? You supplied the links and not me. ![]() And the blatant lie you stated earlier: "Nigeria maintained a 7% growth rate for the past 15 years" IMF, lying on IMF because they aren't on the forum to deny it is just childish and shameful. ![]() I'm still open to you showing me where IMF said that. Remember you put the statement in QUOTATION MARKS. Now, you can just specifically point out the link, the paragraph, and the line in which they made the statement. Just look at that failure, yet you people want Baba to turn thing completely around in 1year! Can one get any more hypocritical?? See una lives.. ![]() |
dondo83:I wanna believe you read my post in the other thread before posting this comment. ![]() That is. Just the truth. Had the ministers "done the needful", all these wouldn't have come to the public. ![]() Welcome development it is indeed!! Let them do their work. No more padding of budget and giving kickbacks to legislooters to seal their lips. By the way, we are still waiting for the NASS to make public details of their own budget. |
drss:Hahahahahahahahaha. The parents of Ipod Ekpas really messed up their children. Very useless parents indeed. Exclusive breastfeeding would have solved this mental problems even before they started. Better yet, they should have used effective contraceptives. ![]() |
INTROVERT:This same poster yelled "Dino should keep quiet" in the other thread where it was revealed the Ineffectual Buffoon and Madam Opolo Eyes grabbed reserved lands in Maitama district Abuja, distorting the master plan. That is all their kind do- embrace, protect, exalt and promote corruption!! It hurts them when people are made to account for the wrongs they did. For them, fighting corruption is akin to destroying their legacies. Yet they want people to "vote PDP". What a pity. |
imsuboi:And your siggy says "in biafra I trust". Now why would you even bother about elections in Nigeria?? What concerns a biafran with Nigerian election?? Can you see why we keep insisting the biafra nonsense is just another brand of opposition politics?? ![]() |
PDP screwed up for sixteen years, they were still voted in FOUR times. The hypocrisy of PDP supporters is only imaginable- like time travel through Worm Holes. ![]() I will vote Baba over and over again if a messed up budget and a falling naira (which is no fault of the government but due to fall in crude price) are all PDP can go by. Just don't have the time, otherwise, one would have done a comparism between the budgets of the Ineffectual Buffoon and what we have today and show the world what huge wolf the Ipod Ekpas are crying where there exist not even a rabbit. The only reason we didn't hear all the stories of the sleaze in the budget in the past is because the Senators and the people who prepared the budgets agreed on a sharing formula for the proceeds of the corruption. That's all. |
Obiagelli:It is so funny how these little minds think due to errors in ONE budget, which we duly criticise the government for, is sufficient to make one pitch tents with PDP!! I just can't imagine it!! A party that made errors consistently for sixteen years, and horrible ones in the last six years, imagines a single year's error, which pales in comparism to what they did, can't and must not be forgiven or tolerated!! Don't even know whether to laugh or be angry at their foolishness. ![]() |
dearpreye:Totally agree with you. The buck stops at his table. Let me show you a post I made regarding the anomalies we are seeing in the budget. Brb. Edit: Eureka!! Here: Iroh88:By the way you, Dearpreye, aren't an Ekpa or any of those. Those names are meant for the PDP supporters that find it hard to apply commonsense when they speak. You are just about the only PDP supporter who's criticism of the government I can't but accept- the others are just borne out of sheer hatred and emotions. |
Apparently, the illiterate Abobaku Ekpas and Sons of Orubebe don't know the meaning of "associated products" as used in my first post. ![]() Go school, una no gree, evening classes sef una refuse to attend. When people been dey go school, una own na to carry placards the waka upandan for Onisha head bridge for some useless Goats. See una lives now. Ndo oo. ![]() |
Lordave:Person no even suppose reply you sef. You too dey sound dull and emotional. ![]() |
Pidggin:Can you show me where IMF said "Nigeria maintained a growth rate of 7% for the past 15 years"?? Please I desperately wanna see it. Post the link here. ![]() If you can't, then look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself the gospel truth about who you and people like yourself truly are. ![]() |
Obiagelli:Why I said yesterday it is high time Baba wielded the big stick. This is totally unacceptable. There are obviously a lot of remnants of the Goats from the last admin hell bent on sustaining the legacy of that admin. Baba should ignore the blackmail of the opposition who always want to paint him as a vindictive and sectional leader and fire all those top bureaucrats in the ministries and budget office immediately!! Replace them with new brains he can trust so we can start from an entirely clean slate. Morning Modath. |
Pavarottii:Of course you don't have a choice: it is your own signature. ![]() |
Mboi:I wonder if this one is a human being. Dude, I don't need handouts from any politician to sustain myself. If you do, too bad then. And for your info, Fayose is owing salaries since November, how does that make him different from the people you've mentioned. So sad poverty has eroded the capacity of folks to see things through from a rational perspective. |
bodashee:Illiteracy, ignorance, poverty and low self esteem all combine to make the average Nigerian such a malfunctioning species. Sometimes when I go to an occasion and see how people gather round politicians, praising them and bowing to them, I feel so disgusted to the point of throwing up. As a matter of fact (not that I'm too proud or something) I make it my duty to make these politicians feel disrespected whenever I come across them. I just don't like their attitude. Just like you said, our people make them feel like gods and they've become used to feeling like they are doing us a favour relating with us or doing the ordinary things we do. ![]() Go to the civilised worlds, with all their development and wealth, and see politicians/ministers riding bicycles to work or walking amongst crowds just like any other regular Joe and no one would even recognise their presence! Here, if a politician enters a public transport or disembark from his SUV to talk to an old woman on the street, the news "breaks the internet!!" Now, the more we treat these guys like super humans, the more their determination to keep us dumbed down and poor, because if they give you the education to cure your ignorance and give you the enabling environment for you to create wealth for yourself, their relevance would drastically diminish and they would run short of praise singers and sycophants who make them feel superior to everyone else. Such a pity we find ourselves in this state. |
Oh ye recalcitrant Ekpas, do we produce blades in this country?? I most just about all of you are illiterate, so I'd oblige you with a little bit of basic economics. When you operate an economy based on a single product and the price of such a product eventually losses its value by over 70%, it is only normal that the value of the currency of such a country operating such an economy to take a beating due to depleting forex. When the value declines, the cost of imported goods and other associated products inevitably rise- even the best economist in the world can't prevent that from happening you illiterate children of Orubebe. Now, had your biggest party in Africa diversified our economy by just 10% while it held sway for 16 years, perhaps we wouldn't experience none of this- but the economy wasn't diversified, neither was money saved. Rather, despite the windfall from oil, your useless party kept borrowing, recovered looted funds and re-looted them, and stole every penny in sight. ![]() Today, we are paying the price of 10 years of failure, and 6 years of Ineffective Buffoonery and you guys want everything to be fixed in under a year!! I think we might have more Robotic Buffoons than we initially thought parading themselves as human beings. #bashing is also allowed. ![]() |
Pavarottii:Your signature says: "If you are not careful, the newspaper and media will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people doing the oppressing." I think that perfectly captures what state your entire being is. There couldn't have been a better way to describe yourself. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
HowAreYou:This isn't humility, it is psychological programming. It's a Machiavellian tactic. Giving folks 1% of what is due them, but giving them in a manner they feel you are doing them a favour and make them feel they owe their lives to you. That is what Fayose has been doing. Only the wise who've read the books such as The Prince, 48 Laws of Power, Mafia Manager or Hitler's memoirs can understand some of these things. |
This guy would have made a perfect politician in ancient Rome: dazzle the people with epic public display of drama and they forget about what your actual responsibilities are. All he's doing is preparing/psychologically recruiting the ignorant folks who would be willing to put their lives on the line to protect him when the time is due for him to answer to his crimes. People like this young man would be the ones staring down the barrels of guns while his children would be somewhere hundreds, if not thousands, of miles away from the epicentre of his confrontation with security operatives. They would die and be forgotten in the blink of an eye. Fayose would be arrested and prosecuted and life would go on. Let those who've got brains make use of them. Never stake your lives for the sake of any politician. Encourage them to use their children to defend themselves. |
I hope Baba looks into this and pay them their due entitlements asap. Owing workers their pay is what I could never stand for. They worked for it and are duly entitled to the monies. Nothing should stop the government from honouring the terms of their engagement. |
danot1030:He said "they were holding meeting long before Buhari came". I bet it was when Buhari came in they realise they could also protest on the streets and chant Biafra. ![]() When Jonathan arrested massob members in the past, how many of them wailed on the forum?? When dead bodies of massob members were discovered in a river in the SE during the Buffoon's era, how many of them took to the streets?? Soon as Buhari won elections, they printed banners and made placards, marching upandan, chanting war songs like remote controlled zombies. There is no such thing as ipod, it is just saTAN rebranded, period! Awon sore losers. ![]() |
New day, new lie. Even the devil himself would envy these guys when it comes telling lies. It is simply all the leave on. What a pity. |
Ineffective implementation by an Ineffectual Buffoon. ![]() Pa Shukwudi, come and listen to your Hero oo. ![]() |
kokoA:When news broke about the sealing of Badeh's estate in Abuja and I made a remark concerning the worth of the property and how the alleged owner could possibly explain how he got it if not through corrupt means, an Epka came after me accusing me of ignorance, that I have no idea how much an army chief earns!! Just imagine that!! I made him understand NO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE could earn so much as to build a billion naira estate if they didn't enrich themselves through corrupt means. Too bad we have such people who would viciously defend those solely responsible for their poor state of living simply because they are connected to the regime of the Ineffectual Buffoon. Watch Ipod youths do the usual. Perhaps they'd adopt these men as their sons also and march on the streets on their behalf. |
Shoooo!! Where is the logic in this?? Who does that bill fits more than the Wailing Ipod Ekpas?? Isn't Orubebe one of their Heroes?? Or are they trying to tell us what he did was wrong and denouncing him?? ![]() ![]() |
danmasani101:..and a volunteer Ipod Ekpa rises to the occasion. Bravo kiddo. Any more candy stories you wanna share?? ![]() |
