Wow!! Shiit's indeed real out there. God bless these gallant men.

These are the real Nigerian army and not those barbarians that roam our cities molesting park visitors, workers and motorists.

I'm fine.
I was meditating this morning, and I felt this surge of love and excitement course through me for everything living; for everyone.
and I started reliving everyone whom I had something against (virtual & real life), I saw myself imagining they were before me, blessing and wishing them well.

I had this impulsive thought to reach out, so I paused my exercise, reached out, then continued.

I saw a post you made about being humanitarian, you're human afterall, and a kind one at that.
#Blesswink
Lol. We all are. Just hate it when folks around here, including yourself cheesy, make me say things I know I could never say to anyone in the real world.

Deep down, I regret saying those things but I refuse to apologise because around here, apologies are seen as signs of weakness, defeat, and submission. wink

After my thread in the romance section, some comments made me do some deep introspection, and I resolved it was best I went back to "myself".

Hard as it may be given how provocative most comments directed at one could be, I'd try to keep my lid intact. It is the least I could do now.

Per the rice, got to a supermarket to get some groceries two days ago and saw this beggar in a wheelchair by the entrance. Ignored him when I was going in but when I came out, I called him and inquired if he cooks at home and he replied in the affirmative. Gave him the bag and ooooh, how grateful he was. cheesy. The look on his face was priceless and that made me feel somewhat fulfilled. grin

Indeed, nothing surpasses the joy one gets from charity. smiley

The worst is that Nigeria elected a bunch of clueless lying demons headed by a retired grand pa who was lured out of retirement by a group of masked change chanting political robbers to come truncate an economic blueprint put in place by a globally reknown economist without any alternative plan.

I was part of those who voted change. .these are tough time but I choose to believe
Believe brother. What we are seeing today is totally inevitable. When the price of the SINGLE product upon which an economy is almost entirely based falls in the international market, this is what you get!

All oil based economies are witnessing this. Even in the last days of Jonathan's era, we saw the naira fall from 170 to 210 soon as oil prices began to drop! I don't know why the PDP supporters are making it appear as though one clueless man would have performed some magic when he didn't when oil sold for over 120dpb. cheesy

These guys are real clowns.

Elosky20:
Even OBAMA cannot save the naira talk more of JONATHAN. We failed to diversify our economy on time. the problem nigeria is facing nw is world wide and is affecting every country that its economy is financed through oil money,
Some people are simply too dumb or too emotional to accept the truth. This is just fact. Had we diversified our economy, the effect of the plunge in oil price wouldn't have been this drastic. Even bigger economies than Naija who are dependent on oil export are feeling the heat.

Here, PDP supporters are overly excited not realising the failure is attributable to the failure of their party over the years, especially in the last six years where oil sold for record prices but no buffers were put in place to bolster the strength of our currency in an event there's a fall in the price of crude.

Rather, they turned the dollar to their preferred medium of exchange, using it to buy everyday goods, pay for services, finance campaigns, and bribe people- the naira was ditched like an unfaithful girlfriend. Today, the same people responsible for the mess are those Wailing the most. cheesy

I hope it hits N1000 mark, then we'd see how much more excited they would get. wink
BusinessRe: Serious Gobe!!! $1 Now ₦400 – This Is Terrible! by Iroh88(m): 3:08am On Feb 19, 2016
Brilliance9000:
This country is finished!

Let me see the hypocritical twit that will invoke GEJ. GEJ left office with naira to dollar at 210 and today it's almost 400 naira. GEJ inherited naira to dollar from Yaradua at 165, it stayed at this rate +/-15 for 4 yrs, it was only towards the end of 2014 that we began to see fall in naira largely caused by those who are bent on sabotaging his achievements to make sure he doesn't get re-elected. Compare dollar to naira loss in value under GEJ from 165 to 210 within 4-5 yrs span...that's very reasonable. However under Buhari from 210-400 in barely 8 months? This is disastrous...an invitation to anarchy. Did you guys noticed that under Jonathan when naira depreciates, it appreciates back within few days. But under Buhar...it only depreciates.

Keep blaming GEJ and oil price until dollar hits 1000 Naira by July by the rate Naira is falling.
GEJ did this, GEJ did that, you people have no shame.

What was the price of oil when he took over??

What was the price of oil when he was in charge, and what was it just before he left office??

Didn't the value begin to plunge just after the oil price begin to plunge??

How was he responsible for a strong currency??

If he was responsible, how come the value declined from an average of 170 to the dollar to 210 in just a few days?? Why couldn't he control/prevent the fall??

Couldn't it have been worse if he had still been in charge??

How did "people bent on sabotaging his admin" cause the fall of the dollar?? Why this devilish lie?? Can you listen to yourself??

Una go just dey yarn opata all the time.

The question is above your level of comprehension.
E rats who dont understand the effects of exchange rates on economies and who seldom handle foreign exchange come here daily reminding us that naira is failing against the dollar. Ask them the policy implications and what needs to be fixed they start calling God to help them. Country of jokers!
Exactly the reason I don't comment on all these "currency falling" threads. The PDP supporters are simply too emotional about their loss at the polls and think this is a perfect item to insult the ruling party with. They hardly understand anything about fiscal/monetary policies.

Good recycling initiative. Lot of improvement still needed, but still a good start.

The fall of the Naira and crash in oil price might just be the ignition switch we've always needed to revolutionise our economy. Gradually, we are bringing out the genius in us.

Nigerians should brace up for increase in fuel prices and resultant high inflation, once the government bows to the pressure of devaluation. I'm actually more worried about the instability that will arise due to organized labour embarking on industrial action and calling for wage increase to counterbalance the effect of devaluation/inflation on REAL wage.
By bad. You are actually right.

Simple official order, they won't carry out, acting like spoilt kids. When the big stick is wielded and they have their asss whooped, kids around here would start screaming #Tyranny.

For me, memos and files and official letters/documents that emanated from their respective offices should be scrutinised. Any that originates ONE MINUTE AFTER the time they wrote "received" on their termination letters should be treated as a crime of acting under false pretence because they are imposters.

That is simply the law.
