Deep down, I regret saying those things but I refuse to apologise because around here, apologies are seen as signs of weakness, defeat, and submission.

After my thread in the romance section, some comments made me do some deep introspection, and I resolved it was best I went back to "myself".

Hard as it may be given how provocative most comments directed at one could be, I'd try to keep my lid intact. It is the least I could do now.

Per the rice, got to a supermarket to get some groceries two days ago and saw this beggar in a wheelchair by the entrance. Ignored him when I was going in but when I came out, I called him and inquired if he cooks at home and he replied in the affirmative. Gave him the bag and ooooh, how grateful he was. . The look on his face was priceless and that made me feel somewhat fulfilled.

Indeed, nothing surpasses the joy one gets from charity.

All oil based economies are witnessing this. Even in the last days of Jonathan's era, we saw the naira fall from 170 to 210 soon as oil prices began to drop! I don't know why the PDP supporters are making it appear as though one clueless man would have performed some magic when he didn't when oil sold for over 120dpb.

Some people are simply too dumb or too emotional to accept the truth. This is just fact. Had we diversified our economy, the effect of the plunge in oil price wouldn't have been this drastic. Even bigger economies than Naija who are dependent on oil export are feeling the heat.

Here, PDP supporters are overly excited not realising the failure is attributable to the failure of their party over the years, especially in the last six years where oil sold for record prices but no buffers were put in place to bolster the strength of our currency in an event there's a fall in the price of crude.

Rather, they turned the dollar to their preferred medium of exchange, using it to buy everyday goods, pay for services, finance campaigns, and bribe people- the naira was ditched like an unfaithful girlfriend. Today, the same people responsible for the mess are those Wailing the most.

I hope it hits N1000 mark, then we'd see how much more excited they would get.

Let me see the hypocritical twit that will invoke GEJ. GEJ left office with naira to dollar at 210 and today it's almost 400 naira. GEJ inherited naira to dollar from Yaradua at 165, it stayed at this rate +/-15 for 4 yrs, it was only towards the end of 2014 that we began to see fall in naira largely caused by those who are bent on sabotaging his achievements to make sure he doesn't get re-elected. Compare dollar to naira loss in value under GEJ from 165 to 210 within 4-5 yrs span...that's very reasonable. However under Buhari from 210-400 in barely 8 months? This is disastrous...an invitation to anarchy. Did you guys noticed that under Jonathan when naira depreciates, it appreciates back within few days. But under Buhar...it only depreciates.

Keep blaming GEJ and oil price until dollar hits 1000 Naira by July by the rate Naira is falling.

I'm actually more worried about the instability that will arise due to organized labour embarking on industrial action and calling for wage increase to counterbalance the effect of devaluation/inflation on REAL wage.
