Health / 12 Suicidal Signs And What You Should Do by isaacodo: 4:14pm On Jun 11, 2018
Anthony Bourdain is dead at sixty-one years of age. CNN made the announcement a short time ago, calling him "a gifted storyteller and writer who took CNN viewers around the world."
The network added, "His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time."
Bourdain received the Peabody Award in 2013. The Smithsonian once called him "the original rock star" of the culinary world. He was a bestselling author and recipient of two Emmy awards and was considered one of the most influential chefs in the world.
He was in Strasbourg, France, where he was recording an episode of his CNN show, when he was found dead of an apparent suicide in his hotel room.
Suicide rates have increased
This tragic news follows the death of an unidentified woman in Lagos. The Lagos State Police Command on Monday said it had commenced investigation into the report that an unidentified lady allegedly packed her car on the third mainland bridge and jumped into the Lagoon. Between last year and now, about five people have jumped into the Lagoon or attempted to jump into the river from the Third Mainland Bridge.
Despite police’s patrol of the 11km bridge, people still make use of the bridge to commit suicide.
According to reports, more than half of people who died by suicide did not have a known mental health condition. Factors contributing to suicide include relationship problems, a crisis in the past or upcoming two weeks, problematic substance abuse, physical health problems, job or financial problems, criminal or legal problems, and loss of housing.
However, other studies have found much higher rates of mental health disorders among people at high risk of suicide. "The reason most suicide decedents don't have a known mental disorder is that they were never diagnosed, not that they didn't have one," according to one psychiatry professor.
C. S. Lewis noted, "Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also harder to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to say my tooth is aching than to say my heart is broken."
Know the 12 "suicide warning signs"
This Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lists these twelve "suicide warning signs":
• Feeling like a burden
• Being isolated
• Increased anxiety
• Feeling trapped or in unbearable pain
• Increased substance use
• Looking for a way to access lethal means
• Increased anger or rage
• Extreme mood swings
• Expressing hopelessness
• Sleeping too little or too much
• Talking or posting about wanting to die
• Making plans for suicide
If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, please get help immediately. Ask your pastor to recommend a Christian counselor in your area. Take every threat of suicide seriously.

This is an issue parents need to discuss with their children. I urge you to read Janet Denison's latest blog, The Kate Spade Conversation. She discusses the major rise in depression among teenagers and links to an important article by the Society to Prevent Teenage Suicide.
And she notes that "too often, Christians feel that depression should simply be handled 'spiritually' instead of 'medically.' Depression is an illness, and an illness needs both types of help. If you have reason to believe your child is clinically depressed, you and your child need the help of a physician, as well as the Great Physician."

Three biblical promises
One: You and every person you know is someone of inestimable worth.
Depression and life crises can cause us to feel that our lives are not worth living. The opposite is true. Every person on earth is someone for whom Jesus died (Romans 5:cool.
On this day in 1941, C. S. Lewis preached his famous "Weight of Glory" sermon at Oxford University. In it, he stated, "There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations—these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat" (his emphasis).
Lewis adds: "Next to the Blessed Sacrament itself, your neighbor is the holiest object presented to your senses." So are you.
Two: God loves you and wants to help.
When Elijah despaired of his life and prayed, "It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life" (1 Kings 19:4), God provided the physical, spiritual, and emotional sustenance he needed to go on. When Jeremiah said, "Cursed be the day on which I was born!" (Jeremiah 20:14), God sustained his prophet.
Scripture promises: "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Paul, who faced almost indescribable challenges (2 Corinthians 11:23–28), could proclaim, "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us" (Romans 8:18).
Jesus knows your pain. He has faced everything we face (Hebrews 4:15). He cried from the cross, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). Now he is ready to help you.
However, let me repeat that one of the most important ways the Great Physician heals is through human physicians. That's why you need to reach out to professional counselors as soon as possible. God will use them as he ministers his grace to you.
Three: You can "dwell on the heights" with God.
Paul testified that he could "take every thought captive to obey Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5). He could do this because he lived in the power of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).
God wants to be "the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge" (Isaiah 33:6). The person who walks with him "will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure" (v. 16).
You can "dwell on the heights" with your Father. This is the promise, and the invitation, of God.

Politics / Re: The 1.1 Trillion Naira Hullabaloo And The Celebration Of Mediocrity. by isaacodo: 12:20am On Dec 31, 2017
And to think I have customs officers jubilating about this made me wonder what we are doing as a country. The prices of an 32 " LEd Tv in 2014 was 40k to 50k depending on brand and quality, now it between 55k to 80k, what this means is that when we celebrate this 1.1 trillion know we celebrate this government un- healthy tax regime on the poor masses.
Politics / The 1.1 Trillion Naira Hullabaloo And The Celebration Of Mediocrity. by isaacodo: 11:57pm On Dec 30, 2017
THE 1.1 TRILLION NAIRA HULLABALOO AND THE CELEBRATION OF MEDIOCRITY.
As I write this I am faced with a social media advert with the caption
“ Hameed Ali’s Winning Team Season 1”. It reads
For the first time in the history of the over 100 years history of the Nigeria Customs Service, whooping N1.1 Trillion was generated into government coffers by Hameed Ali led customs …….. blabla bla.
I will first of all want to congratulate Col Hameed Ali retd. For succeeding at all as a CGC of Customs being a former Military colonel with no experience in customs related matters. I must also commend his efforts at revamping the service and others. That being said I would like to state here that this celebration is at best mediocre and shouldn’t be mentioned even as an achievement by a government who said they want to bring change.
Nigeria customs service is a unique service with great achievements over the years; it is the most ICT compliant parastatal of the FGN. Its ICT infrastructure is second to none in any Federal government Parastatal in Nigeria. It uses UNTCAD ASYCUDA as it software to automate the clearing procedure generally.
Automated System for Customs Data ASYCUDA is user-defined computer application software designed by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development UNTCAD for the purpose of aiding the administration and management of Import and Export Procedures at the Sea and AirPorts of any nation.
ASYCUDA was introduced to Nigeria Customs Service Operations in 1998 using a pivot system of implementation as APAPAWharf being the first to be installed, tested and implemented. ASYCUDA 2.7 was later implemented at the Sea and Air ports across the nation. In the year 2003, an update – ASYCUDA 3.0 - popularly known as ASYCUDA ++ was also put in place in order to enhance its performances and purposes. Presently ASYCUDA++ runs in all the Sea and AirPorts and all the Bonded Warehouses in Nigeria. The package is being managed and implemented by WEBB FONTAINE. This automation has also brought about a great increase in revenue generated over the years.
Back to the revenue generated from 2011 till 2014, according to premium times https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/168631-nigeria-customs-generates-n3-trillion-in-4-years.html
The Nigeria customs generated the following
2011 N 741.8 billion @ importation rate of 120USD per Naira
2012 N850.5 Billion @ importation rate of 120USD per Naira
2013 N 833.4 Billion @ importation rate of 120USD per Naira
2014 N 977.09 Billion @ importation rate of 120USD per Naira

I haven’t added 2015 because during the period till now we have experienced a change in Government and would love to do that analysis some other time.
Now customs taxes are calculated based on prices of the goods FOB, insurance and Transportation cost (Freight), in customs parlance it called CIF. The taxes rates are based on the USD value of the goods converted to naira based on the prevalent exchange rate of the time. So what this simply means is that for every good imported into the country taxes are collected by customs based on the dollar value of CIF converted to naira. In other words, the real revenue generated is simply a reflection of the exchange rate of that time not the supposed naira value as we know.
Let me explain

In 2011 customs generated N 741.8 billion @ 120 naira per USD
This means the USD value of what customs generated was 741.8/120 Billion
6.18166667 Billion USD
Similarly other years
2012 N850.5 Billion @ importation rate of 120USD per Naira is 7.0875 Billion USD
2013 N 833.4 Billion @ importation rate of 120USD per Naira is 6.945 Billion USD
2014 N 977.09 Billion @ importation rate of 120USD per Naira is 8.1424167 Billion USD
2017 N1.1 trillion @ importation rate of 306.5 USD per Naira is 3.59477124 Billion USD

It good to celebrate but not mediocrity, as you can in figures it look like the highest but in reality it is one of the lowest, please I don’t even want to compare it with 2016 when exchange rate shot up from 285 to 306 and above before stabilizing at 306. I heard this was mentioned as one of the achievements, please somebody should understand this is mediocrity.

Religion / Re: Why Pastors Use Private Jets And A Question For OAP Freeze - By Ife Olaleye by isaacodo: 9:32pm On Nov 05, 2017
what's with these arguments, some private cars owned by Nigerians are more expensive than the private jets we are talking about.
A McLaren P1 LM cost about $3.7 million while you can get a private jet for $500,000. For a pastor like G.O of RCCG that has been selling his daily devotional, the Open heavens for millions of copy and knowing one copy will cost above $1, for over 10 years you think he can't afford it. Its useless arguing when you don't wish to see.

Bros, you don't even know you have more of your father in you. When you get older you will realize he was just being a father. I imagine myself with 4 children worried like hell about their future, their lifestyle and the this question, will i be a good dad? or will i live long to see them really grow old? As a father, you can't but help it to worry about your children and sometime you push hard. You cutting ties with him IS AN INDICATION THAT YOU have the capacity to push hard too. You are just your dad, you don't know it yet. Please talk to him now brother, Take it from someone who has lost his dad and can't find a father to relate too. You will live to regret this decision later.

Nairaland / General / Safety At Work | Safety Tips For Construction SITES by isaacodo: 12:47pm On Mar 08, 2017
Working on a construction site is fun and yet there are hazards. Accidents can occur if extra care is not taken and these accidents can pose serious injuries. Therefore, safety measures should be put to place in every construction sites and safety rules is handed over to workers. It is not enough that construction workers know what to do to ensure safety; the Supervisor must ensure that safety rules are complied with. Safety begins with wearing appropriate protective equipment on site. Head protection should be worn always and in good condition, it should size or fit the person wearing it and be worn properly. If hearing protection is needed, it should also be worn.
Construction workers are expected to wear protective footwear whilst on site and doing heavy work. The bones in the foot are quite delicate and easily damaged and any muscle or tendon damage can prevent normal movement for several months. Steel toecaps protect against dropped objects. Mid-sole protection is usually a steel plate and it protects against puncture or penetration if you put your foot on a nail. Personal safety equipment must be worn as prescribed for each job, safety glasses for eye protection, hard hats at all times within the confines of the construction area where there is a potential for falling materials or tools and gloves when handling material.
Work area should always be as clean as it can be; too much rubble's or untidiness could lead to a fall or trip, so keep your working area free from rubbish and debris. OTHER SAFETY ADVICE'S FOR SITE WORKERS’ SAFETY INCLUDE Watch where you are going; keep your eyes on the way. Don’t run. Keep your mind on your work at all times. No horseplay on the job. The use of illegal drugs or alcohol or being under the influence of the same on the project shall be cause for termination. Inform your supervisor if taking strong prescription drugs that warn against driving or using machinery. Know what emergency procedures have been established for your job site; the first aid kit, stretcher location, fire extinguisher locations, evacuation plan, etc. Know where firefighting equipment is located and be trained on how to use it. Lift correctly – with legs, not the back. Stay fit and control your weight. Do stretching exercises. Approximately twenty percent of all construction related injuries result from lifting materials. Do not use power tools and equipment until you have been properly instructed and become authorized to use them. It’s compulsory to use harnesses with safety lines when working from unprotected high places. Always keep your line as tight as possible. Never throw anything “overboard.” You never can tell if someone is passing by below. Never oil, lubricate, or fuel equipment while it is running or in motion. Put it off first or stop the machine. Before servicing, repairing, or adjusting any powered tool or piece of equipment, disconnect it, lock out the source of power, and tag it out. Never move an injured person unless it is absolutely necessary. Further injury may result. Keep the injured as comfortable as possible and utilize job site first-aid equipment until an ambulance arrives. Each construction site has its peculiarities, follow safety rules to the letter and have a good time on the site. Remember, SAFETY FIRST! Health / Safe Lifting Safe Back by isaacodo: 12:39pm On Mar 08, 2017
Safe Lifting, Safe Back!!

Safe Back!! We lift things several times daily, from a toothbrush in the morning to plates, bags, small children, big heavy boxes and furniture etc. Lifting is such an integral part of everything we do that we tend to do it automatically, without thinking. And that’s when it can become a problem - suddenly we’ve lifted something and our back starts to hurt. Lifting things incorrectly can cause a variety of injuries to our back and other parts of our body. Back strain, caused by overstretching certain muscles, is the most common type of injury. Lifting incorrectly can also cause a hernia. These types of injuries can be worse if we’re not in good physical condition. Poor posture, lack of exercise, and stress, coupled with incorrect lifting, can be a hazardous combination. The best lifters in the world are small children. As adults, we should emulate the techniques they use automatically. Watch any small child and you will see them: Bend at the knees they squat Keep the head up they squat Keep the back straight they don’t have the agility to bend and lift at the same time Lift with their legs they don’t have a choice, with their weak arms Hold the load close to their body if it’s too far away from their body, they can’t get their arms around it avoid twisting. Find stable footing. Let you know when it’s too heavy they cry or call out for help. Safe lifting involves learning how our back works and using the right methods whenever we lift something larger than a toothbrush. There are several steps to take every time you are about to lift something:
a. Size up the load: Look it over, decide if you can handle it alone or need some help. Often, we look at something that is questionable and lift it anyway, rather than appear weak to others. Keeping up the appearance that you are strong is not worth hurting your back.
b. Size up the area: Before you begin moving things make sure that there aren’t any obstacles in the way. Make sure that you can make any turns without running into another object or stumbling over something on the floor.
c. Keep your back straight: Bend at the knees not the waist. As we grow, we have a better sense of balance and forget to use our leg muscles to do the work. Bending at the waist will put strain on the back.
d. Get a good hold: Your grip has to be firm in order to move something efficiently. If you don’t have a good hold on the item, it can slip out of your grasp and fall damaging the item and possibly you as well. Using gloves will also help give you a better grip and keep hands safe.
e. Find stable footing: You will be able to keep your balance better and use your leg muscles more effectively. These muscles are stronger than your back muscles.
f. Lift close to the body: Don’t try to lift something that is away from your body. You won’t be able to get a good grip on it. Reaching may strain your back.
g. Avoid twisting: Use your feet to change directions. Always move with your whole body. Twisting your upper body to move an object will put additional stress on your back.
h. Teamwork: It’s easier and faster to have a helper in moving things. Be sure to discuss how you’re going to lift, and what direction you’re going in, and make sure that there are no obstacles. Lift, carry, and lower the object in unison. If you’re losing your grip, warn your partner and put the load down, re-position yourselves, and then continue. A moment’s pause may save dropping or injury. A back injury, besides being very painful, can leave you incapacitated for weeks and may even cause permanent damage. Follow the steps for safe lifting, and you will be carrying things for years to come!
Romance / My Penis Is A Disability,no Woman Wants To Be With Me - Man With Largest Cassava by isaacodo: 10:46am On Feb 28, 2017
A 54-year-old Mexican man, Esquivel Cabrera Roberto, with the world’s largest penis, has said he cannot find any woman to have sex with him.

Roberto gained worldwide fame in 2015 after he was filmed weighing his penis to prove its authenticity; which measured 18.9inches.

According to World’s Guinness book, his penis measures half a metre.

He smashed the record believed to have been held by American actor Jonah Falcon, whose penis was 9.5 inches flaccid, and 13.5 inches when erect.

He, however, said he is not willing to reduce it, despite being sex-starved due to the size.

Speaking with Barcroft TV, United Kingdom, the quinquagenarian said, “I am famous because I have the biggest penis in the world.

“I am happy with my penis, I know nobody has the size I have. I would like to be in the Guinness Book of Records but they don’t recognize this record.

“I do not have an active sex life as my penis is just too big to have intercourse. Some people ask me if I put some condoms on it and the answer is: I cannot. I can never penetrate anyone because it is too thick.”

“While living in the USA, I did attempt to have sex twice, but the first woman backed out as soon as she saw my penis and the other one had to stop because it was too painful.

“My penis is a “disability” and stops me from working and this forces me to rely on food banks to survive.

“I cannot wear a uniform like anybody in the companies and also I cannot get on my knees.

“I cannot run fast and so the companies think badly of me. They say that they will call me, but they never do.

“The government has recognized me as disabled after initially dismissing my claim. Every four months they give me some economic assistance but it is not enough. I visit the food banks everyday to take my meals at 12 ‘o clock.

“I am happy with my penis and I wish to go back to the USA and spend the rest of my life over there. I don’t feel sad because I know in the USA there is a lot of women. One of them will be the right size for me.

“I would like to be a porn star and I think I would make a lot of money over there and the people are not like over here, they are more liberal, they don’t care about what I have in my pants,” Roberto added.2f

Meanwhile, members of medical communities have urged Roberto to consider a penile reduction.

Speaking with the medium, Doctor Jesus David Salazar Gonzalez said, “We have advised him ‘Mr Roberto, the best thing for you is that the doctors give a normal shape to your penis so that it doesn’t hurt you, in order to have sexual relationships, in order to have children.’

“But he doesn’t accept it, he’d rather have a penis bigger than the rest of the people.

“In Latin culture whoever has the bigger penis is more macho.

“It’s something that makes him different to the rest of the people and makes him feels special. He was obsessed with the penis length when he was a teenager.

“He began with this enlargement since he was a teenager, wrapping some bands around his penis with some weights and trying to stretch it.

“Due to the size of Roberto’s penis, he suffers health problems like frequent urinary tract infections because not all his urine escapes his lengthy foreskin and even while asleep, his gargantuan penis is an issue because he is unable to sleep chest down and has to put it on its own pillow to escape discomfort during the night,” Doctor Gonzalez stated.

Politics / Re: Terrorism Report : Fulani Herdsmen Revived Boko Haram by isaacodo: 4:43pm On Jan 05, 2017
we must inform many people about this developments..
Politics / Terrorism Report : Fulani Herdsmen Revived Boko Haram by isaacodo: 12:56pm On Jan 03, 2017
*Bill Gates and USAID fund Fulani Herdsmen to Destroy Natural Cassava in
Southern Nigeria*

*Paris*: On Christmas eve, Intelicor Council on Peace and Security in
Africa reviewed evidence including satellite images showing that the Boko
Haram fighters have turned fully into Fulani Herdsmen and are heading to
South of Nigeria to destroy the natural cassava with cattle. Nigeria is the
world largest producer of cassava with 45 million metric tons, achieved by
mainly small growers of natural cassava crops in the Southern regions. The
introduction by Bill Gates Foundation of the so-called 35 ‘improved’
varieties has correlated with the destruction of the natural cassava by the
Fulani Herdsmen phenomenon. The satellite images also show that acreages
are shrinking fast in the South because of the menace of Fulani Herdsmen.
The fall in cassava yield and scarcity thereof would create a National
Emergency. The American Mantra that Bill Gates applies ‘create a problem
and provide your own solution for it’. The solution in this case would be
that the Bill Gates GMO cassava varieties would replace the natural cassava
and get Nigeria hooked to Monsanto forever! http://allafrica.com/stories/
201603290264.html As the Nigerian military celebrate a much deserved win
in the North over the hired terrorists deceptively labelled Boko Haram by
the mainstream media, some retired gurus in the intelligence services feel
otherwise. According to an expert who has been snooping on the terrorist
group using high resolution satellites ‘It looks more like redeployment to
the south for new assignments in phase 2’. The satellite images show an
unusually high frequency influx of men and cattle long an old trade route
called the LAKAJI corridor. A 1,225 Km route, USAID, World Bank, Monsanto
and Dangote use to channel GMO seeds and Hybrid crops to reach the market
place in major cities without scrutiny http://pdf.usaid.gov/pdf_docs/
PA00KDHK.pdf . Bill Gates, Dangote, World Bank, USAID have for the past
years focused attention on providing grants to persons along this route
that would allow a smooth movement of fighters and cattle from the North to
the South in trailers. Intelicor had earlier said that, the aim of the
Boko Haram terrorists as a proxy for the private army Blackwater owned by
Bill Gates and Monsanto http://www.pravdareport.com/
business/companies/14-10-2010/115363-machines_of_war_
blackwater_monsanto_billgates-0/ was to drive away farmers and replace
their natural seeds with genetically modified (GMO) seeds from Monsanto.
Bill Gates is the majority share holder in Monsanto, and had engaged his
protégé *Dr. **Jim Yong Kim* President of the World Bank
http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/world-bank-president-
jim-yong-kim-chats-with-microsoft-cofounder-and-
picture-id521856372?s=594x594 to broker a deal on FADAMA III and Water
Basin Authorities, Nigerian government agencies to help spread the use GMO
seeds across the South. This would mean a total displacement of the poor
small holder Nigerian farmers and replacement of their natural seed stores
with Monsanto GMO and Hybrid seeds disguised as aid
http://authorityngr.com/2016/07/USAID-donates-seeds-to-IDPs-in-North-East/
. The Hybrids seeds would give them the first improved yield and
subsequently yields will fall with the second generation seeds by 40%
http://www.foodrenegade.com/hybrid-seeds-vs-gmos/ . Hence, the small
farmers must purchase the hybrid seeds every planting season and their
natural seeds outlawed by the Bill Gates sponsored ‘National Agricultural
Seed Council’ in Nigeria http://guardian.ng/features/
fg-iita-partner-to-upgrade-national-seed-council/ . The seed councils who
lobbied for GMO and hybrid seeds in South America have caused devastating
outcomes for small farmers. In doing so, the food security across Black
Africa will be controlled by Monsanto and Cargill, both owned by Bill Gates
as majority shareholder. The bad name of Monsanto around the world has
caused it to rebrand as the German company Bayer. The aim of the
redeployment of the Boko Haram fighters to the Southwest and Southeast
Nigeria disguised as Fulani Herdsmen is to use their Cattle to destroy the
natural cassava farms and create food shortage. This will be addressed by
replacing with the natural cassava stems with Monsanto GMO cassava renamed
pro-vitamin yellow cassava stems distributed under a grant from the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation by the International Institutes of Tropical
Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, Oyo State (owned by the Rockefeller Foundation)
and the National Root Crops Research Institute (NRCRI) Umudike, Abia State,
Nigeria, owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Nigerian
government does not seem to be aware of the Grand Plan and this new twist
in their fight against the terrorist Boko Haram group. Unfortunately, some
uninformed leadership in the Nigerian state governments partner with
enemies of the Nigerian people - Bill Gates, Monsanto, Dangote, World Bank
and USAID, hence the quagmire. However, even greater danger looms, because
the insurgent Niger Delta Groups, Oodua Peoples Congress and Biafra
agitation groups are looking to champion the defence of farmlands and
farmers in the Southern regions. Maybe not for altruistic purposes but as a
way to gain legitimacy and support from the people, who have until now
dismissed them as unpopular separatist movements. How can the Federal
Government of Nigeria, end this conflict? Experts say, Ban GMO and Hybrid
Seeds and enforce it rigorously! In 2017, until the ban of GMO and Hybrid
seeds take effect, the war in Nigeria may not be over, but may just have
switched places.

I hope I'm not too late, i just saw your post this morning, I Believe you are OK. I will like to start this conversation by saying Philosophical thinking is not new, it is beautiful, appealing and sometime dangerous. Let me explain. Philosophical thinking can be beautiful as even the name PHILOSOPHY is a combination of Philo and Sophia , Love and wisdom. Love is beautiful and so is wisdom. Getting to discover many things you never know existed and knowing about them gives you the thrills and beauty you never felt you could get. I noticed you have started enjoying this beauty as you mentioned reading great philosophical book of great thinkers. Also it can be very appealing because the quest for knowledge is endless, we can search throughout our life time and not be able to discover a minute fragment of knowledge embedded in the world around us. If we consider space, the sea and the earth crust, you will agree with me, it is beyond comprehension. One can be lost searching endlessly for wisdom. Many have died trying to get there but it seems the more they try the more it eludes them, but the thrills fuels the appeals and hence, like René Descartes , You might get to the point of even doubting your very existence. But it can be dangerous, but we have seen how philosophical thinking has helped us get great advances in science and technology today. Thinkers always have the problem of knowing for sure, they make very spurious arguments on issues because they have this limitation of knowing for sure. Many make hypothesis while others try to disprove others. History is filled up with hypothesis and counter hypothesis revised theories because the more knowledge expands the more we know. In religion its not so , we don't have the luxury of experimenting, we need to know the very truth, science try to experiment with what they have we don't have that luxury because if we are correct about our claims, we can save souls, they very part philosophy agrees exist but can't explain how to preserve it. Science can try to save the world but religion save the soul.
Lets take for instance, science and atheism is right, and that God doesn't exist and like other atheist, we are just existing for a period and we will eventually stop to exist after death. Religious beliefs will not harm or hurt atheism but will compliment it in that no religion in anyway outright stand against humanity and other creatures. But if i ask, if religion is right, and there is a God, and a final Judgement for the wicked, what will atheism do for humanity? nothing. I will get to you on the remaining part of this article

AS you can see, The Lecturers Mentality is to fail everyone , he or she would have noticed there obvious E's, May be he or she makes so much from blocking or sorting. This why such Universities are always rated badly Worldwide..

I noticed a lot of 40's in the scores which should have been E's but were entered as F's . It seems the Lecturer wanted many f his students to fail.

The mistake people make before leaving your country is not to prepare for where to sleep. My experience in Mumbai was different, though mine was in 2008. Our school prepared our accommodations, feeding and everything we simply walked into our classes. If you want to study in India, get information from other Nigerians there, we went to ma lam Mohamed kitchen in Mumbai to eat our swallow. Its a pity though for them.

Sweetlemon:
I expect to see my brothers dancing here. The idiots hailing these terrorists have even managed to console themselves that "as long as they are not killing people then they are fighting a good cause" I mean How will YOU eat when they finally achieve their aim of crippling the country? Do you now see how irredeemably Godforsakenly dumb you are? The only followers they can gain are people who never like Buhari and who wish him evil just because he won their hero/brother.
For crying out loud even the king of ogoni land admited GEJ failed them. The Fulani herder is the very one implementing something that was ready for approval since forever, The same man who made sure that he didn't sign the 2016 budget until the Lagos-Calabar rail project was included, something our so-called reps and senators didn't give a hoot about! Are these not things that benefit the common ND man and Nigeria at large? What do you want to do with govt appointments? Are you lobbying for posts for yourself or your family member? What else do you bloody baboonistic species want? Buhari's head?? The so-called brother who was at the helm of affairs for over 5 solid years did absolutely nothing. What did he do for the area apart from making a few militants and elites billionaires who didn't even see fit to donate a tap to their communities?? Yet some irredeemable foolish imbecilic dumb battalion ingrediential buffoonish nincompoops are still here allowing the devil use them to cause mass sufferings. "Not killing people" my round asss!
The way I'm seeing my people hailing terrorists I'm even beginning to think that we are much wicked and violent than the North because I don't remember Northerners coming out en masse to support BH or the herdsmen killings the way my people are all over the place cheering these guys on as if they themselves are not suffering. I mean what kind of hate will make you choose to die of hunger than allow someone who is not your brother feed you? Even the devil must be shuddering in hell right now! The comments whenever there's news of bombings and likes on such comments make me throw up. Like seriously are we cursed I'm seriously ashamed of telling people I'm from South South now. I'm really not very proud of telling people I'm from this region at the moment. Just too embarrassing!

Well that's your opinion, a leader like the president that rode on the popularity of the masses to win the election should have known better not to sectionalize the country along it fault line hereby creating the monster he is seeing today. Niger delta is the goose that lays the golden egg and most be treated with the respect they deserve. You said you are for no body and for every body only to show Nigerians you are for the North and west and others are not your people. He should better start appeasing the ND people and not all the sectional politics.
