They were already lied to from the start.

1. They were told they would be the 3rd line of defence and only maintain law and order in their city after the Russians have won the battle but instead they were sent into the war front untrained.

2. They were sent as Cossacks and LPR to fight in another republic not their own for a people who are unwilling to fight (Luhansk)

3. They already lost 40% of their men in Mariupol and saw first hand how easily and quickly they get killed since they are considered cannon fodder and they stated so in the video.

Contrary to your opinion they really do not need to fight because the same Russia who claimed to want to liberate them already destroyed Mariupol which is under the administration of DPR.

It's not the Russian regulars who are bearing the main burden of war in Ukraine. It is the troops of pro-Russian puppet states Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic.

Just today, 105th and 107th regiments of the DPR have refused to continue fighting for Russia.

When Russia took control over parts of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts it didn't annex or unite them. They created two states: DPR and LPR, which were formally sovereign and separate from each other. This procedural decision has backfired now with DPR fighters refusing to go to the LPR.

Watch this attached video with fighters of DPR's 107th and 105th regiments. They just spent three months fighting for Mariupol. Now they complain that their commanders want to send them to fight in the LPR which is a "completely different republic", presenting them as "some Cossack volunteers" which is a lie because they are not Cossacks but from DPR.

Cossacks are considered nomads or "free men" dwelling in the northern hinterlands of the Black and Caspian seas. They had a tradition of independence and normally received privileges from the Russian government in return for military services but these are not Cossacks as they clearly stated in the video.

The lack of motivation of these guys is clear, they openly say they don't want to be the "cannon fodder" and "non-mercenaries" who were not even paid for fighting in Mariupol.


They don't want to be used as the unpaid cannon fodder. So they have now decided to utilize the wrong and deceptive procedures of Russia against them as they refuse to fight for Russia.

All their arguments are procedural:

- We are DPR citizens being sent to a "completely different republic"
- They listed us as "Cossack volunteers". We are neither
- They mobilised us without a medical checkup
- They want to trick us from writing a complaint to the military attorney

The Pro Russian soldiers from the 105th Regiments on the other hand say and I quote:

- We are not soldiers. We used to be college students and workers of various enterprises who were forcibly mobilised into the DPR army
- They told us we'll only maintain law and order or stand in the third line of defence. Bullshit. They sent us to attack Mariupol instead

- The medical examination is compulsory during the mobilisation. Nobody examined us. Many have chronic illnesses
- They want to send us to fight in the LPR. But we are citizens of the DPR, not of the LPR
- We already suffered casualties in Mariupol. Only 60% remain in service

Many in the DPR army are unwilling to fight any further. They were forcibly mobilised and now their discontent reached the point when they dared to show an open disobedience. Fighting is too risky they say.

In fact, they consider fighting riskier for the DPR troops than for the Russian regulars. Russian government is way more comfortable with using them as the cannon fodder than with using the Russian citizens. After all, DPR and LPR casualties are not even counted as "Russian" ones.

Since DPR casualties are not counted as "Russian" , you'll mobilise in Donetsk everyone you can catch and then send them to attack the massive Ukrainian fortifications. You run out of the Donetsk males of course, but on the bright side you keep official Russian casualties low.

Once again they are seriously low on motivation and refuse to be deceived and used as cannon fodder any longer.

They clearly state that Russian gas supply prices to Bulgaria increased by almost 14% due to their refusal to pay for the Gas in Rubles.

This is why Bulgaria now opted for a cheaper source than that 14% price hike and they have gotten that cheaper alternative source.

Lithuania was the first to cut themselves off from Russian gas.

Note that Russia did not disconnect them, they disconnected themselves.

Lithuania spent 8yrs building their LNG terminal which has now gone online and is now supplying other Baltic states with gas.

From being dependant on Russian gas, they are now suppliers of gas on their own to other Baltic states.

Lithuania is now buying directly from Norway which incidentally supplies about 30% of European gas needs and can easily increase especially since Poland is now going to also be buying from them.

Russia is not almighty bro so stop kissing her feet as if your life depends on it. European countries know better than you do.

The only reason Germany is yet to switch off their Russian gas supply is simply because they failed to invest massively in floating LNG storages like Lithuania did which enabled them to stop receiving gas from Russia.

Also with the coming online of Norwegian gas pipelines, Russia would eventually also lose Germany because Germany is already working with Norway to connect to the Norwegian pipelines.

Norway already supplies about 30% of all the gas consumed by all of Europe and can easily increase their production.

Natural gas from USA is perfect for any country because it is refined and not used right from the ground.

However due to distance from USA to Europe the most cost effective way to transport it is as LNG.

Bulgaria is not making any second hand purchases from other countries. On the contrary Bulgaria has connected directly to the LNG terminal in Greece which is about 800km away.

They buy directly.

And by the way No European country is opening accounts in Rubles....it's European Companies that are doing so. About 18 to 21 companies have done so and not countries.

Forget about the OP, there is no cheap gas from LNG, especially from Shale Oil LNG, this is simple propaganda, the US is subsidising the cost of LNG but for how long.

If you followed the conversation by the OP you would have seen where he posted why the gas would be cheaper for Bulgaria and that is because they have a terminal they just linked to Greece.

Greece is barely 800km from Bulgaria while Russia is over 4000km from Bulgaria so do the math and tell me why Bulgaria would not be getting LNG supplied to them for cheaper?
