Some sickos are going overboard with their obsession with Muslim women lately.  We recently had to endure Toba's sick desperate pining for a muslim wife (not gonna happen, freak!).  Now, according to the soft-skulled NL scholars, the only people keeping polygamy alive are the muslim women?  SMH.  Yes, of course, nothing wrong with having one wife, numerous mistresses and a bunch of illegitimate children.  Oh, no!  Just bury your heads in the sand and point your finger at others to satiate your religious bigotry.

You have a lot of pressure and a lot of responsibility placed on your head by your family.  You feel guilty because you feel it is your duty to pay your younger siblings' school fees, being the big brother and all. 

Fact is, they're not your children.  It's nice you want to help, but it is killing you.  You want to kill yourself because of them?  Call your dad, and tell him it is driving you mad the pressure you feel with all the weight of the family on your head!  Tell him IT IS TOO MUCH!  Seriously, bro, put a stop to this now or you'll do yourself in one way or the other.  Maybe your sisters don't even know how much of a toll this is taking on you.  Tell them the stress and the lack of funds at this time (not that you wanna die o).  You'd be surprised - your dad might be able to get the school fees somewhere else.

What you're feeling is temporary.  Please don't do it.  Don't kill yourself because of life's pressure and a short-lived hardship.  It's not like you did something unforgivable.  I mean, think about it. 

Hang in there and tell anyone who's adding to your pressure to leave you be for a while.  You'd feel so much better when the extra load is lifted from your shoulders, my friend.

You're not alone.  When people don't have a job and money to pay their bills, and they don't see a way out, it can cause a lot of bad thoughts.  There is no reason for you to end it; THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU.  You will find a job and you will be glad you didn't do this.  A relative in Lagos after many years of lack of opportunity just relocated to Abuja.  You may not need to do that.  Maybe all you need is to talk to friends; see where the opportunities are; if you go to church/mosque, let them know you're looking for work; don't be too proud to admit you're unemployed.  We all know how hard Naija is for unemployed graduates and everyone else, really.

Though I don't subscribe to all his views - probably 2 or 3 issues/viewpoints/conclusions with which I strongly disagree - it is very compelling.  You have to listen to it to get it; way too complex and varied to go into.  Probably would need its own thread.  The first 5 minutes, you might think "this dude is just gonna be a name-dropper. . . what do I care if you're related to Frederick Douglass?"  But you have to keep watching and listening.  You won't regret it.
