FYI, this one is in your section. Don't ask me why I report in the wrong place(s). ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/938835/lets-complaints-suggestions-enquiries-here/102#15423196 |
And unban isale_gan2, please and thanks. T'was spam bot. ![]() Can you also edit the title for me? Remove "in living color." Spambot doesn't like me editing. ![]() |
Moderators, Can you please un-hide my brand new thread (about African Women in History) in Foreign Affairs section? I'm not sure Jesoul is around. Grazie! |
JeSweet, Do you know why Seun removed the "preview your post" feature the old Nairaland used to have? I got banned by spambot while editing a post to remove oversize pictures. If Preview was an option, I wouldn't need to do that, you know. ![]() Maybe bring that up at the next moderator retreat. ![]() |
hehehehe. Remember, "Isale is the cheekiest girl on Nairaland." ![]() |
There are 2 more pieces to the above; I shall commence posting as soon as our beatific mod releases me regular moniker. BTW, Katsumoto is good people. He just is a robotic dispassionate 'Japanese Samurai' when debating policy. Dude is harmless. And humourless. Typical Economist. What's your major, Kats? ![]() ***Runs and hide while singing, "ding dong the witch is. . .!"*** P.S. Gracias, Senora JeSoul! I spoke too soon. I will post the 3rd and final piece. Please watch my back, homes. ![]() |
Infallible Mod, Please rectify Pyguru's hiccups by unbanning Isale_Gan2, and un-hiding my last post in the Margaret Thatcher thread. There is nothing wrong with the post. It is part of a long piece from NYTimes that I reproduced with attribution since some of our NL brethren may not be able to access it. |
KALBAR MANS BEST FRIENDS!
Dude, I kinda like you. But that picture is EEEwww. I still maintain that the taboo against eating dog meat probably stems from fear of rabies. I don't have a problem with people who eat dog (oh ok maybe a little) but I wouldn't. At least, I hope and https://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/63.gif to never be in a position where I had no choice but to eat dog, or worse still, be one of those who have to eat human flesh in dire do-or-die situations. OAM4J: Unbanned.Thank you, my Isale-Eko brother. I know you're always on top of things. Keep Seun in line, will you? Let's bring back the glory days of Nairaland. Glory Days meaning, whenever I say it is, of course. ![]() I kid I jest. ![]() |
Hilarious and informative. . .eventually. ![]() Derailers obsessing over Aigbofa's name. Long-winded bookworms coming back with pages and pages of posts. lol. Interesting discussion ensuing. Whatever happened to the artist formerly known as Jenifa_? Classic 2011 Politics thread. ![]() |
Moderator On Duty, Can you please un-ban my isale_gan2 moniker, and un-hide my post in this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/1226926/oga-top-guys-babes-pictures. I made a post with pictures. The 3rd and last image was kind of big, so I went to modify/remove it, and coldly got slapped-down by pyguru. There was nothing out=of order about my post. It was simply a comparison between the popularity of the phrase "My Oga At The Top" and the "Don't Tase Me, Bro" craze in the USA a while ago. |
mukina2: freekick czech . .who be this fine black boyWhere? Show me! I was someplace else. Show me a pic, Muki! You're my BFF. ![]() |
Katsumoto: Don't mind OAM4Juice, he comes alive in subjects such as this.True talk. ![]()
Hmm, Aberdeen + Oyel money.. Seen ~quickly scribbled down two more names for my PAC fund raising~ This thread must yield fruit. I can't shout.

^ Yes. It is very shameful sir
Where is that laughing and rolling over on my booty smiley? ![]() It is agreed: KILODE?! is the most inscrutable person for miles. I bow to you, sir. Fstranger ain't got nada on you. BTW, naijababe is married to F. . . Now, you know. OAM4J: . . .I know fstranger in his good old days would have liaised with wikileaks and get us some pictures |
Mukina, I was going to keep you company here, but since you banned isale_gan2, I won't do again. ![]() |
Yeah. ![]() |
. . . Can you please interview Katsumoto? Thanks
The long-awaited illuminating Katsumoto interview that all Nairalanders have been waiting for! Interviewer: So, Katsumoto, you are a very popular and respected poster on this fast-deteriorating site. We'd like to get to know you. The number one question from your fans is "Is it a fact that your are not Yoruba?"Katsumoto: Oh boy! Interviewer: Is that a "Yes" or a "No"? Katsumoto: Is what a what or a what? Interviewer: Yes, you are Yoruba, No you are not? Katsumoto: I am not declared on Nairaland. Interviewer: Hmm-hmm. That's why we would like to know that and many more about you. . . Starting with your ethnic affiliation. Katsumoto: Oh, I see. Carry on then. Interviewer: So. . . Katsumoto: Nice weather we're having ![]() Interviewer: You know so much about Nigeria's politics and history, especially about the civil war and events leading up to it, are you a politician, a writer, a historian, history buff or involved in any occupation which puts you in a position to be very involved in this field? Katsumoto: I'm not in government. Interviewer: So, you're just interested in Nigeria and its history? Katsumoto: I better plead the 5th on that one. Interviewer: Do you live in Nigeria or somewhere else? Katsumoto: No comment on that one. Interviewer: What do you think of Nairaland, specifically, the changes that have been going on lately? Do you find the site as interesting and useful as when you first joined? Katsumoto: I could tell you but I'd have to kill ya. Interviewer: There will be a part 2 to this interview. At which point we would really want to open up to your fans and tell us what makes Katsumoto tick. As we go to commercial break, we'd like to give you an opportunity to mention anything else you'd like to share with your fans? Katsumoto: Can you do something about the following troublesome posters who continue to communicate in incomprehensible non-Lagos Yoruba (not that I've ever been to Lagos or know anyone there), Kilode, naijababe, Kosovo a/k/a Dobosky. Let's start by banning those hooligans. ![]() Interviewer: We'll be right back after this break. Please start calling in to the station and submit your questions for Katsumoto. I can see that he CANNOT wait to tell you all everything about himself. ![]() |
LOL at "iya yi." I don't start fights o. Regardless how it appears. 50% of all my fights on NL are in this very thread. Lord'a mercy! OAM4J, what have you done? Back to sensible political discourse. ![]() |
hahahahahaha. So I had to edit my post cos a MANLY MAN who likes to dole out the insult on a regular basis went and complained to the mods. LOL. Oh, yes! You do give a "shyt." This is just one of the typical insults you throw out (cos your FRAGILE EGO couldn't take a harmless joke that everyone else, including those who are not as "smart" as you, got): https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-593966.928.html#msg7647384 SEFAGO:But did I go crying to a mod? No! Dude, IF YOU WANNA DISH IT OUT BE READY TO TAKE IT!!! Calling you a is an insult to s.P.S. Moderator OAM4J: Please never send me any PMs unless it is to notify me I won a cash lottery! ![]() |
SEFAGO: ![]() Sefagette, Olorun a da'jo fun e for putting me in the same sentence as those creatures! I guess your ego is still bruised from the TWO man-lover threads where we collided. (Plus, HORRORS!, I ignored you from then on.) Dude, that was a year ago! In any case, thanks for contributing to this feminine thread; I was expecting you. I know you are more feminine than any of the women on Kilode's list, *****! ![]() Say hi to your boyfriend, btw. lol |
Desola:I did not want to address personalities. I just felt compelled to make the initial post; and I stand by everything I said in my posts. I refrained from mentioning any more names because I didn't want to "attack" any more posters. It detracts from the subject-matter. We aim to discuss issues, not personalities, right? Anyway, do we know each other? Me, I am not paranoid, but I have been accused of similar traits. hmmm. My 6th sense sha. |
lol Are you talking about d same Nigeria where parts of d country is ruled under sharia? place where some of the same sentiments about gender roles is shared across the country? speak loud and clear? stand up and fight? well, if women had d power to do so, they would. but for now they don't. let's wait and see. As more and more join d work force and gain economic freedom, things most likely will start to change. i'm not saying this is for good or bad. but at least in d direction you seem to want it to go.
This is not about you, but I must highlight part of the inconsistencies in your numerous posts over these many months that led me to make the earlier statement. ". . . Join the work force"? You are using a western ideal to evaluate Nigerian culture. Our women and mothers have always worked - or what do you think all those women traders are doing? You need not be behind a desk or a civil servant to be "in the work force." This is just one of hundreds of misleading statements you've made. Anyway, I'll leave it alone. I'm sure discerning readers can see through it. You're not the absolute worst - there is an even worse roundabout debater that stalks the politics section. But of course, those are the ones who think their gas don't smell - one ROTLMA smiley and we're all supposed to marvel at their imaginary brilliance. lol. Carry on moderator. ![]() |
Silly brainwashed illeterates
Whatever you say. |
Women will participate more in politics if there is a safe space for them to do so. but the truth is that men DO NOT want women involved in d first place and do their best to keep females out. Women also know that they are not wanted in politics. If not for UN gender equality mandates, do you even think there will be as many female politicians in Nigeria at all? I don't think so. in my opinion though, women do discuss politics among themselves. at least the parts of politics that have meaning and relevance to their lives. although they do not make it into a hobby like some men do. We have more relevant things to do with our time. I'm speaking for naija because the reality is different for places like the US where there is pretty decent female participation. esp when many of the debate topics have relevance to females ex abortion in naija on the other hand it won't even be a question before a legislator places a ban on females "wearing skirts" That's messed up. The whole country might as well be a sharia state.
You talk so much crap, it is astounding! Unbelievable! Are you for real?! Did you live in Nigeria at all? With Nigerian parents? Around Nigerian women? "A safe place for them to do so"? What does that have to do with anything? What does that even mean? I'm sorry. I have had to endure your posts for months now. Enough already. You don't know squat about the stuff you ramble on about. Often, there's a nugget of an idea wrapped in a whole lot of mess. |
. . .Just take an example from the lady acid was poured on. l think its cos of love and we shdnt blame the guy too muchWow! |
Yes there are Nairalanders that can do way better jobs 1. Ndu chuks 2. Ekt bear 3. Manny4life 4. CyberG 5 Gbawe 6. Enyojo 7. Abagworo 8. Aerosapain 9. Abu_Mayram 10 Kilode 11 Fstranger 12 Chyz 13. Igbo2011 14. ChienyeN 15. Even desola and Ak47mann 16 edo girl 17. Akubi edu all this people would do a way way better job than OBJ, IBB GEJ etc. I can count on this posters to do this job better. forget the usual rubbish some of them post, if you read there post and understand there line of thinking then you would know these people are smarter or have more conscience than our present crop of politicans. GEJ and others have a lot to learn from these people I mentioned. No lies. A lot to learn
Alhjharem, buddy! ![]() At first I was going to feign outrage about being left off the list. Then I saw the bolded: ". . .forget the usual rubbish some of them post. . ." ![]() btw, 2 or 3 of those posters may be the same. lol. I would support any of these to do the deed: Katsumoto, Kilode, Ajanlekoko, OlaOne, OAM4J, PhysicsMHD (just discovered from his post that he doesn't watch/understand futbol though! SMH), Naijababe, Debosky, Fstranger, Gbawe. We can even add 2 more, and we'll have our knights of the round table. A run-off between Cap28 (socialist), Ekt-Bear (capitalist), Dayokanu (hedonist) can be held. |
Why are you quoting me for nothing? ![]() Anyway, on topic: The woman paraded by Gloria Allred has really done a lot to help Cain's case. Look how he's huffing and puffing. lol. Any sensible person knows that could not have happened the way she said in that press conference. The women who filed claims and were awarded compensation? Their stories were credible. And Cain was looking bad, because he was changing his stories every 5 minutes. I even heard him say, at one point, he didn't know that a settlement was ever made in the earlier cases. I mean, who believes such nonsense?! But now the credible complainants are going to be ignored while everyone picks this other woman's TABLOIDY story apart. And it will be picked apart. And Cain is smart enough to focus on the incredible woman because he knows it would serve him well. |
Shush! Your twin is calling a press conference to engender more sympathy. He just might scale through. A black guy with white chicks "screaming violation" is so common in US history. This is going to be so primal. Just wait and see. He's going to end up getting blacks on his side, despite the fact the akatas vote for democrats en masse. The (very good) introductory speaker is a recognizable PI attorney in Atlanta. Cain isn't really known in that arena, since he's not a lawyer. But he did go to Morehouse. BTW, make sure your sons go to Morehouse - if you continue your stay in America. Great history and tradition there. What am I saying? What sane woman is gonna marry you? hahaha. Plan to get you some baby mommas. |
Scored how? You better not start, DayoCain. ![]() |
Poster, I am sorry for your troubles. No matter what you do, DO NOT MOVE HER IN WITH YOU. You will lose your job due to all the stress of dealing with her, and it will be even more downhill from there. I have personal experience with a troubled relation (not mother) whose problems exacerbated my own while trying to help her. And the curses? Yes, I know about that too. Move your mother to a place where she can be surrounded by relatives. Unless she hates them too, and starts cursing the heck out of them. lol. Just try and stay sane and don't make things worse for yourself. Sometimes, the best you can do is never enough. LeoMax:I concur with part of the above, but the poster makes barely enough to fend for himself. Please, let's not weigh him down while he's trying to improve his life. I doubt he can even go to school to learn a trade with all these going on - and the meager earnings. . . ![]() P.S. Poster, Why did you include ![]() E.T.A.: buy some sleeping tabs (on prescription) and have her drink them . This would help the brain rest. . . .Very dangerous and foolish "advice." So, he should start doping her to make her sleep? And then when she gets addicted to that, he can start doping her to keep her awake? You gotta be kidding. "Help the brain rest"? |
Herman Cain is 1/10th the sexxual harasser you are, Dayokanu. What he was doing is child's play compared to you. Unless your real life is so different from your NL persona. I seriously doubt that though, considering there's no strong demarcation between your real self and your virtual self. ![]() If you're now reformed, (yeah right!) then I take it back. lol. ![]() On Topic: A month ago, I would have predicted Obomber's republican opponent to be either Cain or Perry. Cain might still muddle through to nomination. Remember, Clinton was a bigger poonhound that this dude could ever be. |
Mobingay. |
yommysomguy:another one! i see you. you're a chick, aint cha? just trying to camouflage your interest. be warned! "take it easy"? sounds like something a homewrecker would say. take is easy koo, oam4j "herman cain"ed me ni. ![]() ![]() |
