I think TINUBU also gave each of the technical crew 50k$ .... madugu don get money now it won't be easy to bribe him
PDPGuy:
Onome would be cursing out Madugu for refusing to invite her to the national team 😂

BTW, Madugu was given 50 million by the Adamawa governor
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 3:59pm On Jul 30, 2025
Nigeria don't play possession football, we play counter attacking football with pacey wingers on both flanks
yinkeys:
Randy Waldrum or Madugu ?
I don’t support getting a new coach with a new philosophy
Better to pick someone that already knows the team, strength & weaknesses, players and culture
It takes time to adapt or acclimatize
Who do you guys prefer?
Madugu or Waldrum
I think our indigenous coaches are good in the African competition
Especially after winning it 9 out of 10 times
Are they good in World championships ?
If NFF gives Madugu a contract he needs to improve so we can compete globally & not just participate
Can Nigeria play with the ball like South Africa, Spain does (possession football) ?

Where did you watch again pls
yinkeys:
Just watched the game again
Plumptre & Alozie were good in the 2nd half
They redeemed themselves in the 2nd half
All of our players were on fire in the 2nd half
Coach also rectified his errors and made the right changes at the right time
What went wrong in the first half ? They seemed clueless or stunned maybe
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 11:02pm On Jul 27, 2025
Which federation in the world let their players keep 100% prize money?
daveP:
Actually, nff don cut the cake prior to now. Only $330k will land in the players hands asides the owed bonuses and allowances. 670k to NFF coffees for their unimaginable non-sporty pleasures.

As of today, we are hearing they want to pay the 330k in naira and not dollars. NFF and controversy are Siamese twins. That body dey behave like bureau de change. Once money don pop up, they display unsportsmanlike xtics. 😂

What about the interview he claimed he had with coach Madugu and Captain rasheedat at full time ?
TemplarLandry:
I will never understand why Pobians love spinning negative news about Nigeria.

If it is good news, they undersell it, become depressed and broken-heart.

Laser light didn't affect the match ....if they're going to cheat why didn't they cheat today ? Why wait till next ? Why didn't they cheat against south Africa in 2023 ?
yinkeys:
Where did I say they will cheat in this final ?
Didn’t they use lights, you obviously didn’t watch the game
Ogbeni watch your words carefully
You didn’t even know Nigerians paid a higher rate for tickets
Maybe if you can highlight where I said it

The south Africa coach is out of contract right now and she'll be very willing to work with the falcons squad .... I've always admire her playing style
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 12:17am On Jul 27, 2025
So you don know North Africa don't support each others in football? It's like Nigeria and Ghana
JohnBullMySon:
Yh but the silverware is where the joy is.

Let me state a little known fact here. Many people aren't really aware that North Africans are big fans of Nigerian footballers. Many people don't know that. North Africans support us a lot online. The South side of Africa are always beefing us.

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 12:10am On Jul 27, 2025
Doomsayer...... You said they're going to cheat in this final but they didn't, if they win next year it's because they deserve it, they've invested a lot of money on their women's team
yinkeys:
Na dem go win next year
Dey play
Money go touch hands grin
Do you know politics 😂

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 9:42pm On Jul 26, 2025
We can even give a neat 5 yards pass...short passes Everytime
JohnBullMySon:
One of this team's biggest problems is ball handling. Our players are not neat ball handlers and Morocco is taking advantage of this. They know that we easily lose the ball under tight marking.

I wan transfer all my savings give Esther Okoronkwo. That girl's football is very sound.

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:05pm On Jul 22, 2025
Nigeria passes have been more effective... we've 2-3 big chances and south Africa can't have a shot on target.. anytime we go forward South Africa panic, in short Nigeria have been the better team
ThePresenceWtf:
Accurate Passes

Nigeria 53 Vs 99 South Africa

37 mins
🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:02pm On Jul 22, 2025
I don't know the match you guys are watching o but for me Nigeria have been the better team by far

If one long pass can take south Africa out why do we need to stress ourselves by trying to use 10 passes? South Africa can continue to pass around without getting a shot on target
