Politics / Re: Renaming FUTA After Shagari Global Embarrassment, Alumni Tell Afe Babalola by Iseloogunise: 3:25pm On Jan 03, 2019
The name FUTA is a legacy.
Providing appropriate infrastructure within FUTA campus and naming it after the late president is a superior idea.
PMB will do well not to yield to this call.
Education / Re: Why Are School Children Not Repeating Classes Again? by Iseloogunise: 8:35pm On Oct 24, 2018
It is so sad.
A lot is responsible for this:
1. Schools are business entities and must survive. They operate on income, expenditures, profits etc.
2. General loss of values. Nobody cares about hardwork, honesty, etc. It's about making the bucks through whatever means; and the rich are the ones who are respected.
3. Governmental failures/supervision failures/collapse of values system leading to corruption: Government should have supported education enough to ensure that business men do not take over completely. Placing education on the profit based platform entirely will lead to nothing but failures-the reasons are quite clear.
School inspectors, supervisors etc who should have been responsible for checks on schools collect bribes;
What has happened and is happening to education is a mirror image of everything wrong with us as a nation.
It's so sad.

Education / Re: MTN Celebrates UNILAG's Daniel-Dada Ayodele (photo) by Iseloogunise: 6:04pm On Mar 02, 2016
In an interview earlier, he revealed that about 5 good firms are after him for employment and he is still thinking on which one to choose.

If a 5.00CGPA graduate cannot create jobs, I wonder who ,!
Islam for Muslims / Re: Wisdom From The Prophet Muhammad(saw) by Iseloogunise: 10:23pm On Dec 09, 2015
When two persons are together, two of them must not whisper to each other, without letting the third hear; because it would hurt him.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

This is the beauty of Islam, teaching morals alongside belief in Allah. So if you practice Islam without morals, whose Islam are you practicing?

Career / Re: Working With A Falsified Statement Of Result For 2 Yrs by Iseloogunise: 10:16pm On Jul 15, 2015
Juliet11111:
Hello nairalanders. I've got a very
surprising scenario here. I graduated
with this old classmate of mine two
years ago. Although he came out with a
'not too good' grade, he refused doing
his clearance and just did
reconciliation, he bribed the HOD's
secretary and she forwarded his name
for youth service, With the help of a
staff at exams and records he was able
to get a forged statement of result. he
has been working in a federal university
since then.

The last time I called him he said he
would still go and do his clearance and
collect his original SOR.

My question is this, how come this guy
has been able to work for two whole
years in a federal institution with a
forged statement of result?.

Politics / Re: US: We’ll Compel Nigeria To Accept Same-sex Marriage by Iseloogunise: 3:22pm On Jul 15, 2015
The intention of US is clear. To create/lead a godless world/society. They are nothing but representatives of the devil. Even in our religious insincerities we must fight this! But Note that when a lie/falsehood is said and repeated long enough it begins to sound like the truth. Beware of people to whom this may begin to make sense to.

Politics / Re: "Before Apc Falls Apart" - Dele Momodu by Iseloogunise: 9:14pm On Jul 12, 2015
Nobody ever said the people who o populate APC are saints. Its obvious they are more for their selfish interests than the common good. However CHANGE we voted for and that we hope/pray to get. Please PMB wake up to this responsibility. May GOD help you. angry
Celebrities / Re: Why Nigerian Graduates Are Unemployable by Iseloogunise: 8:37pm On Jul 01, 2015
Its high time we realized that you feed based on your skill and not paper qualifications. There are lots of people who will do better in a trade or apprenticeship but are in a higher institution which they have no ability for. Worse still these schools never prepare you for employment or better still self employment. Until there's a massive re-orientation on what education and skill acquisition is about and improvement in our standards of education at all levels, the situation will for a long time remain same.
