The University of Ibadan Celebrates UI 2019 Best Graduating Postgraduate Student, Miss Osanyinlusi Titilayo Mary of the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture Who scored the Perfect CGPA of 7.0 as announced by the Provost, Postgraduate College, University of Ibadan, Prof. Jonathan Babalola at the fourth day of the 2019 Convocation ceremonies, held at the International Conference Centre, Friday 15th of November 2019.

OYOMIND.COM.NG gathered that the Best Graduating Master Student is Mary of Animal Science with CGPA of 7.0 and average of 76.9 while Abibat of Botany Department is second best with CGPA of 7.0 and average of 75.1.

According to Page 442 of the Order of Proceedings Award, Miss. Osanyinlusi Titilayo Mary’s is the overall Best Graduating Postgraduate Student followed by Miss Owolabi Habeebah Olayinka while Mr Adekunle Yemi Adekola of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy who scored the perfect CGPA of 6.9 was announced as the third best Masters Student.

So far, from the institution 71st convocation that commenced this week, three brilliant ladies had achieved this feat:

1. Ebhomielen Ofure Mary, a BSc graduate of Computer Science.

2. Owolabi Habeebah Olayinka, an MSc graduate of Botany.

3. Osanyinlusi Titilayo Mary, an MSc graduate of Animal Science.

University of Ibadan, Ibadan recorded another feat as Miss Owolabi Habeebah Olayinka, a Postgraduate Student of the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science graduated with a perfect CGPA of 7.0.

This was announced by the Provost, Postgraduate College, University of Ibadan, Prof. Jonathan Babalola today 14th of November, 2019 being the third day of the Convocation programme holding at the International Conference Center, Ibadan.

This is coming barely 48hours after the University celebrated Miss. Ofure Mary Ebhomielen who also graduated with a perfect CGPA of 7.0 in the Undergraduate category.

But it is easy to graduate with first class in UI compared to other universities
6.0/7.0 is a first class in UI
While 4.0/5.0 is a second class upper in other universities.......

Science faculties also produce the highest number of first class in UI....kudos

She is the fourth person and the only lady to graduate with a perfect CGPA in UI..The last person was Daniel from the same department (computer science)
I think that is the easiest course in UI...7.0 upandan... meanwhile,in OAU nobody can graduate with 5.0 no matter how good you are. ..the highest is still 4.96 in my faculty ����

This was announced by the Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. Abel Idowu Olayinka, FAS at the first day of the 2019 Convocation ceremonies holding at the International Conference Centre, Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria.

It could be recalled, such fest was also achieved by Mr Daniel Nkemelu from same department (Computer science), who also emerged as the best graduating student in 2016 with overall CGPA of 7.0.

Congratulations to all graduating students from the prestigious premier University.
