So for someone that wants to study medicine in Unizik. What should he be expecting to score in Jamb.

Now, Unizik dosnt have a particular cutoff for medicine.. Depends stritcly on general performance.. Buh it is advisable u score high say 270+ with a good waec result saturated with A's and B's.
With these, i'll say, welcome to Unizik, Faculty of Medicine.
Coz Unizik admits 86% on merit.
10% is for what I call "my mama elder brother na V.C friend"
I know of a girl who had 249.. 3B's 1A and 1C. She got medicine in the 2016 Admission period.
Now, catch ur waec or neco result (one sitting is more advantageous) scan it, and know what ur score in jamb should be.

How is the sch fees.

You pay 21,000 from year 2 till u graduate. Buh at the point of entering.. Health sciences pay, 76,000(tuition fee) + 24,000(acceptance fee) + 9,850 (general studies) + hostel 33550 which is optional.
The fee for the hostel 33550 includes form and other petty payments. Hope that was helpful

For prescience.. U pay 10000 for form,500 naira bnk charge, fee is 45000 + 500bnk charge if u used one sitting (waec or neco) wen entering or 46000 if u used two sitting(I.e waec and neco.)+500 bnk charge.
Hostel is 15k and its is optional.. U can rent an apartment of urs if u want, which ranges for 30k to 90k depending on the xtics of the lodge.

i wanted to do their pre-science programme but when my snr bro told me that "though he top all prescience student with a great score he was not giving admission into med school all because he dont have connection" they just give am agric make im read!....unizik unizik their wahala toomuch!...but how the prescience take be nah!

Its ok buh highly competitive.
Out of about 2800 students doing the prescience programme, they'll pick the best 5 for medicine. We re on break now anyway. 2weeks break, upon which we would resume for 2nd half. Then exam which last for one week. Prescience offers 6 subject (Mths, eng physics, chemistry, biology and geo wild. "my way of Calln geography" upon which u'll pick 5 out of it (if u can do all 6 its still ok.) out of this 5 u chose, Mths n english are compulsory.. After the exam, if u pass above 40% in both maths n english, then they'll pick ur top best 4 subject in which u scored highest as ur total score.. Buh if u score below 40 in Mths and english, the two will be added to any two u scored highest in.. Summed up to be ur best 4. Same also wen u score below 40 in only Mths or only english, that, which u score below 40 in will be added to any three u score highest in...I.e mths and english play a vital role. Mode of exam is stritcly sub-objective.

i understand you dear for UNIZIK just get a Good jamb score[295+] and ur credit and above in ur waec coupled with having connection--DAT ALL but for UI my broda no try am. last year their cut off for med and sug was 79% so to say and waec and jamb contribute 50%each so if ur waec no carry weight pls don't even think about admission!....anyway am an aspirant of unizik med and sug too also writing waec dis year for the xame reason as yours and also love UI TOO..mehn we're like minds!
