Donwyz: its a herculian task to get medicine with that score in any public school except you've got connections even with post utme but you can score at least 300 in unical and get dentistry depending on your state of origin though Fellow, Ur reply/advise should have been medicine inclined alone. That's what the dude wants to know about considering his jamb score. Dont try to infuse Dentistry to it. Dentistry is a brand on its own. Thank you. |

Tresellea: Thanks bro, I'm leaning towards dentistry because it's good for me in the long run (I've been doing research since early secondary school days). And since I get to watch my shows either way then I'll stick to it. I wish people could see this.. Buh painful medicine is a trap for real... Wen u begin to make money u'll know what true happiness and time means.. I am not sweet-talking you... I was once trapped in the shell too, so i know how the xperience feel. U'll thank me many years later if this thread still holds water. |

Tresellea: Please guys, is it best to choose dentistry at unimaid or medicine at federal university dutse as second choice?
P.s. My first choice is dentistry at BUK. Don't be confused bruh, don't mix medicine and dentistry, don't substitute one for another..u might regret at the end of the day. Choose one that u have passion for and read terribly hard for it. It is 6ix years. Once u are done, I am not sure u will regret it. Pay comes in cool. Pending on which ever u choose, u'll have time to watch GOT! |

Mandeyy: I was in dentistry there before. UNN also accepts 2.2 in any basic medical or biological science course for Medicine too. However, the candidate has to score up to 320 or above in its post-DE (similar to post-utme). Even if you graduated with 2.1 and scored low in its post-DE, while a 2.2 degree holder scored high, UNN will offer admission to the 2.2 degree holder first. . Where are you now bro? |

horpeyemmi66: Taking Physiology Seriously Or Getting Dentistry??
I am in my penultimate year studying Physiology at the University of Ibadan, I have gotten Jamb's UTME form in which I applied to study dentistry at ABU, Zaria, should I concentrate more on the UTME (Since the job prospects of Physiology are few) or take the Physiology seriously?
Lagusta, Eloise, Mandeyy, Dr.Lomaxx, angiography, RectusAbdominis, tonye001, DrThanos, Dbraniac1, oogway, dolapo74, gregdcutie, exorene, starfx, au79, Zico5, donpre, ISISs et al Fight for dentistry with your life bro... The cutoff is not up to 300 as at now in my school, last years cut off was 294-297 or so, so u have the chance before buhari release sense to nigerians the nxt 4yrs. Hold ur physio tight anyway, it is a nice course too buh then, study for jamb to score high regardless. Dentistry is like the engineering in the branch of medicine Wen u see me rock my p-cap, jean and my pierced ear, u will concur... The art is it.. So, welcome in advance. (dont plan to come and dress spiro-coco, spiro-coco dressing is for our colleagues in medicine , i see them laughing. in this field. We drill only.) Good evening all. ISISs UNN chief priest. |

Doneze: Lol, what is your view about working and studying medicine? Good... Na now u come through my guy. Ok, first of all, ur passion is still very strong having gone through the stress of finishing optometry. if i am correct, this is applaudable and with such passion, i think u'll do very well. Now, combining medicine with ur practise, well, i cant say how good or not it is. to me, i feel u should check urself if you can handle both. My advise, let ur practice be handled by someone else while u focus more on acing ur 2nd MB if eventually u get in. I dont know what u were tought and how much of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry knowledege u have, i would have concluded on wether or not u can handle both. Iam a BDS student and i can tell u, it is not easy. |
